floor is being blamed and Appliances Online is charging us over 800 dollars to have both returned. Worst quality legs to stand such heavy products on. Absolutely useless, and they can not stablise fridge nor freezer.

cooling is very even, no freezing of vegetables, no frost build up, very quiet and still looks new, brush SS finish. Paid $1100 NZD NOTE: today I discovered when cleaning behind the fridge that the compressor and a fan are enclosed behind a small removable panel. Looking inside I instantly saw that there was a buildup of dust over the two grills that lead to the fan and radiator, so I cleaned them with a brush, vacuum, and even my compressed air. This needs to be done annually people, or the compressor will become very inefficient. One copper pipe joint had corrosion on it, which may indicate a leak?? So I wire brushed it and covered it in JB Weld epoxy to be sure it won't leak. So I am happy with the fridge and I wanted to share this maintenance advice, remove dust from grill, or even remove the grill entirely

refuses a refund or replacement as they say the temperature is within the guidelines set down. If that's the case, the guielines need changing, as this fridge is a health hazard.

only one I've ever had a problem with. I believe it’s so bad and potentially dangerous, these fridges should be recalled. I submitted a warranty claim on or about the 18/07/2026 and here we are, 29/08/2026 and it’s still not fully resolved. I was requested to take the fridge to a 4WD Supacentre which I did. The store ran the fridge for 4 days and I assume, they did not check to see if stuff ad thawed and refrozen. The original claim was then closed. I chose to leave the fridge for an extra few days and still they said it was ok. I brought the fridge home, (a 1.5 hr. round trip) took the door off once again so I could re-install it in my caravan. I then put a Kings fridge monitor in it, recorded temps and took photos over the next few days. While the fridge was at the store, I tested the battery and solar setup in my van. I put a constant 16 amp load on the battery and after 7 hours, the battery was still at 58%, so a low battery wasn’t the problem. Eventually, the freezer partially thawed out again. That was with the fridge set to 2 degs. I then raised another claim, 10/08/26 and was told ;- “In order to raise a claim we do require the below information or alternatively you can lodge a claim online via the below link”
Link: https://service.4wdsupacentre.com.au/returns • Confirmation of contact details and address • Image of the fault • Image of the batch number • Short video of the fault and overall condition of the product (note, video not videos) • Description of what has occurred. • Desired Outcome I hadn’t heard anything for a few days, so I called again and was sent another email quote ;- To assist with your claim, could you please provide 3–4 short, time-stamped videos taken over a few hours? The videos should include the following: 1. The temperature the fridge is set to. (please ensure a watch, phone, or any visible timepiece is included in the frame to confirm the time) 2. The actual temperature displayed on the fridge. (again, include a visible timepiece in the video) 3. The temperature inside the fridge using a thermometer (if available). Note – now they wanted 3-4 videos. I maintained that all the info they wanted was in the one video and since I was sick of getting the run around, that would be all I was going to send. Since I had trouble uploading a video, I then rang and was told to upload photos and video to Messenger on Facebook. I also received an email to that effect ;- SCREEN SHOT 1 which I did. I received this as confirmation. SCREEN SHOT 2 Note the date in the screen shot.
In that email, they also said ;- If you don’t have a thermometer: • Please set the fridge temperature to -10°C and place a bottle of water inside. • Take 3–4 short, time-stamped videos over a few hours showing: o The temperature the fridge is set to. (with a visible timepiece in the frame) o The current temperature the fridge is displaying. (with a visible timepiece in the frame) o Whether the water has frozen. (with a visible timepiece in the frame) They obviously don’t know their product too well, as this fridge can only be set as low as 00 degs. Note, the video shows the fridge temp at a high and low of 6.2 deg after just having replaced the batteries in the temp monitor. The fridge did not start for some time, even though it was set to 2 degs. On another occasion, the with the fridge set to 2 degs, the monitor (on the first shelf) registered a high of 4.7degs and a low of .02degs, whereupon stuff in the fridge would start freezing, especially down lower.
20/08/26,, I now get this ;- SCREEN SHOT 3 21/08/26. Once again, discussions on the phone, whereupon I was offered a new Thermistor (or Temp sender). In the hope this may solve the issue, I agreed. The part apparently only worth $7.00. So after all this crap, I receive this part which doesn’t come with instructions and this is the best they can do. SERIOUSLY! Thank goodness I’m not yet on holidays and going through all this. The fridge was just under 3 years old and still under warranty when this started, although, its had random thaws previously, but we put them down to the way we were operating it. Personally, I think the potential for serious health issues arising from these partial thaws warrant this model being recalled. Would I recommend anyone buy one of these? Well, with this model, not as long as my bum points to the ground. Furthermore, for fear of having this hassle again with other Kings products, I seriously have to consider better options.
We were finally able to swap ours for a new fridge. The problem now is, the new fridge is not a lot… Read more (+2 replies)

rating. **UPDATE** we've had the fridge for about a year now and I'm revising the score down to 2 stars. We've wasted a lot of food because significant sections of the fridge are either too warm or too cold. There are three main complaints I have with it: 1. Anything that comes into contact with the back wall of the fridge tends to freeze. (Overall the temperature consistency is not good, but whether it's worse than other fridges I couldn't say) 2. There are storage shelves built into the door which have room for tall bottles, but very low edges, so that taller things fall out when you open the door. 3. There should be much more crisper space. For anyone eating a reasonably healthy diet, the crisper is woefully small. Given the dimensions of the fridge, there should have been a second crisper drawer added. Good points - it is quiet and pretty easy to clean.

dodgy and our has pretty much failed. Of course these items are provided with very short warranties - because basically they are trash. As a consumer paying out $599.00 for a really important kitchen appliance that is clearly designed to fail just isn't worth it. Please do not buy these products - HiSense products should be titled NoSense!
