Took my otherwise healthy 13 year old for a check up at the Vets, they suggested it won’t hurt for him to start taking 4cyte as a supplement to with joints. Within 4-5 days of taking it my dog had his first ever seizure in the middle of the night, it was horrifying for us all. I stayed up with him all that night as I was so worried it would… Read more

An amazing product for Horses, dogs and cats (and humans) – Well after reading all these reviews I was sceptical about trying the 4cyte on my dogs and cats. I can confidently say that I am so happy I ignored them!!! My horses have been on the gel for years now and I only recently saw the dog and cat products. After speaking with my vet, he recommended one of my older dogs (staffy) go onto the gel, but… Read more ·  1

that the younger dog should be ok on the granules. My staff now walks, jumps and plays like a puppy again and the younger dogs have beautiful coats. I was so happy that I am now using the cat gel for my 2 elderly cats! Again, with amazing results. The only thing I noted is one cat took a while to warm up to the gel taste, but she's a fussy old thing. Talk to your vet, make sure you're actually giving your pet the correct formulation for their needs / pre existing conditions and you'll love 4cyte. Oh and I had a cracked lid on my dog gel but the company replaced with with a brand new bottle!!! I'm even getting my mum onto their human version!

Love this product and highly reccomend – This product has been a gamechanger for our 11yo 70kg Rottie/Mastiff after his legs started to go. He had 7kg of muscle mass wastage and struggled to even get up. We are so grateful to have been recommended this product, as we believed we were facing the end of his journey. To see him able to get up and down our stairs and want to engage in play is an absolute blessing. Show details ·  1

Can’t believe the difference in my dog! – We started my retriever on this liquid version a few months ago. She has arthritis in her hips and has torn ligaments in her back legs so her capacity for walking, jumping and playing was greatly reduced. She was clearly living in pain. Since commencing on this product she has increased her capacity for all activities and seems so much happier.… Read more

She can now play at the beach with her friends, get in and out of the car and on/off the couch more easily and appears to be in a lot less pain. 6 months ago we thought she might only have a few months left, being aged 9, but we know think she will have a few years. I can’t believe the difference this has made to her quality of life.

A great product!! Does exactly what it's claimed to do – I was a little sceptical when my vet suggested I try 4cyte.. especially a natural product from a 'supplement' type range. How could this be better than the drugs my pups are injected with? But,my fears have since been put to rest. 12 weeks on and usually my girls would have needed at least 3 injections during that time, but not needed, they've… Read more

had 1, 8 weeks ago and you'd barely realise they have arthritis! The results have been amazing (we are using the gel, which is a variation of the granules for dogs with more severe issues).

So many people bringing this product down, which is a shame. No medication or supplement is a one size fits all, work with your vet to find the best combination for your animal.

But this house loves 4cyte!!!

Changed my dogs life-highly recommend – My vet first recommended the 4CYTE pellets a few years ago, but sadly my dog couldn’t have them as she is sensitive to fishy ingredients so didn’t want her to get a sore tummy. (I wonder if the bad reviews on here are due to that? As my experience with the newer 4CYTE gel is phenomenal). We then had her on cartrophen injections, gabapentin tablets… Read more

and metacam as needed. Then the 4CYTE Epiitalis gel came out a few years ago and it has changed my dog’s life. She is no longer on other medications and is living her best life. She is almost 16 years old and is still a bouncy, active golden retriever!! I couldn’t believe the difference. I cannot thank the product enough for keeping my best friend happy. My vet swears by it and I now have my horse on it and I take the human product. All my friends use it on their pets too and have all had great responses. Sorry to see some bad reviews as my experience- It’s a game changer!!

After starting this supplement on advice of my vet, all 3 of our Miniature Dachshunds experienced vomiting and diahorrea. One of them also developed severe rashes on her skin which I spent hundred of dollars trying to find out what the cause was, and giving steroids, antihistamines and malaseb baths. As soon as we ceased 4Cyte, all 3 dogs had… Read more

stopped vomiting within a few days, the diahorrea stopped, and wishing a few weeks, the rashes cleared up on the dog that was most severely affected. I gave the one unopened packet and opened packet to my sister for her Greyhound, and within a week, it experienced the same itching requiring antihistamines and steroid injection at the vet. This stuff is awful. The side effects that are negative far outweigh the benefit of mobility in joints. I wouldn't recommend this and I am shocked that my vet did.

but her diarrhea continued to the point of her waking me at 2.30am to rush out the door to evacuate her bowel of the very liquid diarrhea. A second diarrhea episode later that same night produced very dark faeces. I also noticed a lack of stamina where she was becoming very tired towards the end of our daily walks and didn't seem to have enough energy to continue. This never happened before; so after 2 weeks of using the product, I have stopped for the sake of my dog's health. It was only after I Googled 4 cyte and diarrhea that i saw lots of negative reviews for the same reason. My little Tenterfield has been on both the pills and now gel for about a year. It has helped tremendously with her legs and knees. She was reluctant to jump or step up onto anything. She is now about 70%better. I can tell if I miss a couple of days as it immediately shows with reduced mobility again. I've just started on Epijoint their human version, as I'm so impressed with the product.

Be observant! My boy is almost 10 years old and had become a little stiff, so our vet recommended trying Epiitalis Forte because he is allergic to fish-based products. careful with anything I give him. I always introduce new products slowly and monitor him closely.

Recently, we installed custom floor runners throughout our house and the improvement was incredible. Despite his ataxia, he had stopped slipping, was walking more confidently and moving around far more.

The ONLY thing that changed was starting Epiitalis Forte.

Shortly after starting it, he began developing weakness in his left hind leg. It progressed to the point where the leg was collapsing underneath him and he was falling onto his side every few steps. He also began excessive lip licking.

In total, he only received:

* Four doses of 0.5ml * One dose of 1ml (he weighs 40kg)

I stopped the product immediately because the collapsing had become severe and frequent.

Within 24 hours of stopping it, the collapsing and falling reduced significantly.

For my dog, I am certain this product caused the worsening weakness and collapsing. Nothing else has changed. He is on a strict consistent diet.

After everything he has already been through neurologically, I am devastated that I did not research more thoroughly beforehand and read the many similar reviews from other owners first.

Please monitor your dogs extremely carefully with any new supplement, especially dogs with neurological or mobility issues.

What a waste of money.

BEWARE!!! Our 14yo Kelpie and 8yo cattle dog were both showing signs of advancing arthritis. stopped it for several months - no more seizures. We were then able to afford to buy it in bulk again just before Xmas just gone and ended up at the emergency vets on NYE following another, longer and more severe seizure. Vets couldn't pinpoint any issues in an otherwise very healthy senior dog. Incontinence has also started quite suddenly. After reading of others experiences I now believe both the seizures and incontinence are down to this product. There is sufficient anecdotal evidence out there to point to safety issues with this product. Our experience has been both scary (watching your seemingly healthy dog collapse and develop a head wobble and wake up in pools of her own urine every morning) and blimin expensive - I'd say we've spent well over $3000 due to these side effects, and not something we would wish on any other animals.

After giving our 12-year-old Border Collie four doses of 4Cyte, we noticed some serious health changes. bleed and a seizure.

Before this, he was generally healthy aside from mild arthritis — we only wanted to ease his joint pain. Our vet mentioned that some components in the supplement might have triggered an immune reaction, which we never would have expected. The vet mentioned to us only after a week of using the product that he presents like he’s been poisoned. This was when we suspected the product as a potential issue. 4Cyte also reached out and confirmed that the supplements do contain shellfish and can cause stool issues in some dogs.

I’d strongly urge other pet owners to speak with their vet before introducing any new supplement. We wish we had known of these reviews beforehand.

Please do your own research on what the ingredients can do to your animal before trusting others. We’re heartbroken over the loss of our best mate and hope our experience helps others make fully informed decisions.

got lethargic & wobbly on his legs like never before, his breathing became worse & he was fighting hard to get air. I stopped giving him the 4cyte and I keep running a humidifier that he plants himself in front of to help. He is currently still struggling so hopefully this stuff will wear off soon & he bounces back. I looked into this product first & would never give him something without but it never said anywhere that it could effect his breathing. He falls over when trying to pee, he is a big foodie but he isn't feeling well enough to eat. It's so stressful to have him so unwell when all I wanted to do was give him some comfort. They need to update their possible side effects to be more honest. Some diarrhoea or itchy skin is NOT the only things that can happen.
