Stops my hair loss – I usually take flaxseed to slow my hair loss from early menopause. It worked and after taking it for ten years, I had to stop for surgery. I started to panic as my hair loss starts within a couple of weeks without it. It’s then I searched for an alternative. I was horrified at the side affects of some of the strong hair loss tablets and leave in… Read more

products, so I asked the chemist for a more natural hair serum. He showed me the range and I chose advanced hair solution shampoo and serum. It started working almost immediately and I put that down to still maintaining good hair follicles due to taking flaxseed, and also how effective this product is. My hair is slowly getting thicker, it will be a long time before this new growth reaches the length of my longer hair, but that’s okay, so much better than losing too much daily. Flaxseed only helped do much, with advance hair solutions shampoo and serum, there’s only a normal daily loss. I’ll continue with the flaxseed as my skin is pretty good for my age, think flaxseed is the reason, as it levels hormones and is also a DHT blocker.

Total Scam – I had an extremely disappointing experience with this treatment provider. I'm genuinely dissatisfied and wish I could give them a rating of 0 stars. The level of service I received was appalling, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. They have a persuasive sales pitch initially, but once you've paid, they become evasive… Read more

and unresponsive. Communication is a MAJOR issue, as they rarely put anything in writing (sneaky) and often fail to communicate altogether.

Furthermore, their organizational skills are severely lacking, particularly when it comes to ordering medication. I experienced weeks of waiting with no updates and significant gaps in my treatment plan. The constant turnover of staff also raised concerns, and those who do work there show little responsiveness.

Their treatment methods are outdated, much like the retired sportsmen they proudly display on their walls. Honestly, you could easily obtain Minoxidil from your GP and purchase a laser therapy helmet, saving yourself from the terrible experience I had here. I was forced to beg for updates on my medication arrivals and endured significant delays in my treatment, far beyond what was originally scheduled. What a waste of nearly $5000 for oral Minoxidil and a few laser sessions. SUCH A WASTE.

The level of service I received from this provider was by far the worst I've ever encountered. They are unfit to be considered a service provider, especially in the realm of healthcare. They exploit your situation, causing you to lose a substantial amount of money, time, and patience.

The results, if any, are short-lived and disappear once the Minoxidil treatment is discontinued. And even if the treatment does work for you, don't expect any follow-up phone calls or check-ins to monitor your progress. This place is a TOTAL SCAM.

Save yourself the hassle and avoid going here at all costs. Trust me, it's not worth it. You will probably lose more hair with the stress of dealing with this place than actually experience any progress. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

Rip off – 0 stars - I have no hesitations in saying there is other more reputable companies that treat you with more respect than Advanced Hair. They are in it to make money and customer service is a shambles. Look elsewhere Show details

Its working in just 2-3 weeks! – Just started two weeks back and while hair loss is still there.. it's reduced a bit and the hair feel better. The first sign I noticed is my eyebrows hair growing back and Hirsutism reducing. This may be way too early... but even, my parlor lady asked as she noticed thick increased eyebrows immediately. I am going to stick to this for 3 months at… Read more

least to see how it goes. Natural products take time to show results and this has no side effects. I am happy so far!

Still losing hair – I used all three products in the program for 30 days and still have EXACTLY the same amount of hair loss. This expensive product has made NO difference whatsoever. I also haven't noticed any new hair growth. The product has caused my hair to be somewhat drier and the resulting slight frizz gives the allusion of my hair being slightly thicker. I'd… Read more

rather have healthy hair, than dry hair that sits a tiny fraction higher. The product hasn't lived up to any of it's promises and was just a waste of time and money.

I agree with you – The real deals that I've seen and experienced are that Finasteride and minoxidil, the only time you'll feel any bad side effects when you take the higher dosage, not bad Show details

Helped my hair – I am a female and found these on sale at Coles so I grabbed some (x6 packets!) I am well into month 3 and my hairdresser commented on how much healthier and thicker my hair felt without knowing why. I can see that the regrowth on my fine bleached hair is needed re-doing sooner than usual so that’s all the proof I need! I will continue to keep… Read more

taking the tablets and hopefully see more and more growth! (I also went completely off using anything heated on my hair at the same time, so it’s a combination of the two)

Doesn't work as suggested – I used the 30 day program for two consecutive months and didn/t notice any results. Finasteride and minoxidil are the only real options out there......Finasteride has allegedly had some serious side effects for some users, sexual dysfunction and cases of depression however its very effective for the purpose of blocking DHT production. I tried… Read more

finasteride and experienced low mood and stopped immediately. You will need a script for this. Minoxidil can be bought in liquid or foam formula over the counter. Some companies show the most dodgy before and after shots with different lengths of hair to the original photo, different angle, different lighting. Longer hair of just 1cm makes hair look so much thicker. Dont be fooled by this sneaky marketing by some companies out there.

Doesn’t work – Coming up to 3 months now and the product caused more hair loss. It doesn’t work. Taking the capsules once a day was a waste of time. Wished I saw these reviews before wasting hundreds of dollars.  Show details

Complete scam - BEWARE! – AHS products are a complete scam - completely ineffective, super expensive, the laser therapy is a myth and they will make you sign contacts that are difficult to escape. Don't do it.

Expensive and works as a hair loss product instead! – The product is expensive regardless of how well it works but that is just the problem it has actually resulted in a loss of hair, When a product is this grossly poor then instant refunds should be provided and supermarkets should be pulling this crap of the shelf.

Waste of money - Too expensive – This pack is a mere gimmick to get you to go and sign up for a "Program" from Advanced Hair Studio. There's even a "discount card" inside. Avoid doing that at all costs as they promise the world to you to get you to sign up and then seem to forget all the promises they make. The products in this pack, with the exception of the saw palmetto… Read more

capsules possibly, are a waste of money and you can get far better products for less money. Have been using this stuff for about 18 months now and nothing at all.

*******UPDATE*******

If you have hereditary baldness in the family, the prognosis isn't great. I actually tried the Advanced Hair program. Was a waste of time and money. They tell you the world and the service is crap once you sign up. I tried Ashley and Martin about 15 years ago and got decent results but didn’t keep it up due to costs. Ongoing costs was going to be around 250+ per month. That’s the thing with these programs, they are forever. You’ll sign up for 6 months or a year but then there’s a maintenance program they want you on.

There are three things that stimulate hair growth and inhibit hair loss. They are Minoxidil which is the topical solution. Saw Palmetto which is a herb that inhibits DHT (The Testosterone variant that clogs your hair follicles causing the strand to fall out). The third is Laser, which Im still not sure about but many rave on about it.

Ashley and Martin and Advanced Hair Studio will sign you up for a program that entails these three things. They’ll also throw in shampoos, lotions that are filler. Their Minoxidil will be about 7% and contain Retinoic Acid which needs a script. Once the program ends, they’ll only provide 5% solution and still charge you a horrendous price for it. It ends up being $125 or more a month just for that.

Other programs these guys offer is the “Strand by Strand” which is essentially having your head shaved and then having a wig glued to your scalp. This needs to be redone ever 6 or so weeks.

They offer transplant options which is removing hair follicles from the side of your head (which for some reason don’t fall out) and placing it where your hair is thinning. This can cost about $20,000.

Finally, there is Stem cell. Unsure of this but the price I looked at was in the vicinity of transplant.

Essentially, you can do your own hair loss treatment. You can get Saw Palmetto from any pharmacy. I use the Blackmores variant. It’s about $45 a bottle for 2 months supply. You can also get Minoxidil from any pharmacy. These come in 5% concentrations. You could try getting a compound pharmacy to replicate the 7% and retinoic acid one but it would be costly as Retonoic acid is expensive. Regaine is available at any Pharmacy. However, I found a product called “Hair-Again” which is also sold next to Regaine. You can get 5 months for the price of 3 of Regaine. It works the same. The crunch point here is consistency. Daily application and taking of palmetto.

If you want to go Laser as well you can try a helmet. I purchased a Theradome after quite a bit of research. They retail for around $1500 but if you google about, there’s a Hair Loss place online in Australia that sells them for about $1100. Most places will match the price.

If your hair loss isn’t extreme I’d just try the Palmetto and Minoxodil. Saw Pamletto also promotes a healthy prostate so added bonus there. Get the Helmet if you want to go whole hog.

If that isn’t working and you’re still losing hair then try a system like Ashley and Martin, but you’d need the wig or transplant option so be prepared to spend thousands.

If Minoxidil, Saw Palmetto and possibly a Theradome don’t stop you from losing your hair, then just resign yourself to that fact that it’s a part of life and save your money. So many men and women have thin hair these days that you’ll find the only person that will have a problem with it is yourself. 

bad and stay away fro it – Don't even look at this product and stay away from it...... absolute waste of money. I tried it for a month regularly and didn't bring any positive change to my condition of hair loss. I felt like asking for a refund but then from whom, the retailer I bought from or actually from the advanced hair studio
