Failed twice and then drama with the warranty. Had to push them to make good on their product. Shame I had to do that to but in the end they repaired it at their cost. More than most would do. So, 4 stars for doing the right thing, 1 star off given it fails so often Show details
Worst pool cleaner ever. Mine only worked 5 times before it completely broke down. Customer service was all overseas and woeful. Not helpful whatsoever and when I attempted to send back for a refund, I was thrown from one dept to the next and eventually gave up . Buyer beware! Show details
My experience with Aiper Scuba S1 - does NOT climb walls (did once but not since); does NOT cover whole pool area (follows erratic path); does not have sufficient suction power to pick up all debris. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwJlngC8Hsc Show details
I waited 3 months before writing a review. Well let me tell you that this little sucker is like a Fox Terrier under water. My favourite pass time now is watching this little guy scream around the pool while I enjoy a cold one. I purchased the entry level unit and if this is anything to gauge their other products you wont regret it. I have a large above ground pool and this unit is the best! Show details
USELESS POOL CLEANER and DISHONEST WARRANTY – This unit is not well engineered. It is well advertised but the actual unit firstly will have a short life span. Then it will, when fully charged just cycle back and forward, after 11 Months still in Warranty AIPER have no interest in assisting, bust said send it back and we will fix for a FEE . DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPPY POOL CLEANER. I HAVE WARNED YOU Show details
Disappointed – I was excited of getting super seagull pro after checking good reviews. But it totally disappointed me . After 1 hour of operation it got stuck in loop and keep vacuuming at one location, I blocked it with swimming pole few times and then it started moving in right path. It only captures 30-40% of debris it’s path and still lot of leaves are lying… Read more
in pool floor, which I ended up cleaning using manual vaccum. The best thing (sarcasm) is it parked itself in the deeper end of the pool and the hook provided is useless as it doesn’t fit in any of the pool poles.I’ll be returning the robot. Very disappointed.
This is no seagull its a dead DUCK - Hopeless – Terrible product avoid it. Had for nine months and has failed. Contacted customer service the silence is deafening. The battery wont charge and when it does it takes forever and then only lasts for about 15 minutes. This seagull is a dead duck my recommendation is avoid. I have a 12 month warranty contacted support and have not heard a thing. Next stop consumer affairs. Show details
Poor – Emailed the company about concerns with my unit only to get a useless and non helpful response from them using AI. Absolutely pathetic customer service. I want to speak to a real person about how poor this pool cleaner is.
Ok if you don’t expect too much – Had the Aiper seagull SE for about a month and used several times a week. If you don’t expect too much then it does an ok job of cleaning the bottom of a pool. Mine primarily picks up leaves and bigger debris. Don’t expect it to pick up any fine material but it will stir it up and allow it to be picked up by the filter which helps if you have dead… Read more
spots with limited flow. It can’t hold much in the basket so you might have to run it a couple of times if there is a lot to pick up. The clips to remove top don’t seem like they will last. Simple to use and if it lasts more than a year I would consider that a success given price.
Aiper SE – Bought this yesterday and so far very happy and it works perfect on our little 12’ 1.2m Bestway above ground pool. Our pool has a few minor wrinkles on the bottom bit is more or less perfectly flat as it sits on concrete. It’s a pain to charge 3 hours to get 90 minutes of use but it has cleaned well. Show details
Pretty poor quality. Break down even with rare usages – Very disappointed. Although this seagull se has been there for 1.5 years we didn't really use it a lot maybe only 1 or 2 times a month. Now it just stopped working completely. For $400 its really poor quality. Here is some follow up, I opened up the machine and found serious water leaking into the control board, motor and battery. The product is… Read more
defective for sure. The seal is weak and probably can just hang on till the warranty expires. Then you end up with $400 pissing in the wind.
WASTE OF MONEY – Don't waste your money - not worth buying, flimsy and breakable with normal use.
Disappointing – The Aiper marketing is very good. However the product itself is very underwhelming to say the last. It only picks up 75 to 80% of fine debris with in the pool. Battery guts our very quickly. 45 mins. Very disappointing

3 weeks out of warranty - too bad – This machine was great at servicing my plunge pool until it just stopped. It would charge but off the charger it was dead. Told as it was out of warranty (by 3 weeks)they could not help. But happy to sell me a new one with $30 discount. And this time a 2 year warranty. Lucky me, not. Don’t think the manual will help you either, the warning lights not even listed. Ones that are just state the issue with no remedial action steps
a pretty good machine for what I need it for – There are a lot of really bad reviews for this machine, and I'll detail my experience. I'm cleaning a shallow pond (aprox 30cm) that has a tendency for algae, I've gone through 3 other machines and this one which I've been running for about a month now, seems to work really well, it charges, cleans easily and does a great job. remember it's a… Read more
~$300 machine so won't compare to a $3000 machine. but in my experience it's actually pretty good. I have no idea about the customer service and lets see how long this lasts (I'll be sure to update if it goes bad)
Update 3 months later: Honestly it's still going strong, the battery isn't like when I was new but it's used almost daily and sometimes a couple of times through the day. It's a great little machine
ps it's not great at large leaves, but its excellent for algae
Nope. Not working as should – Broke after only a couple of cleans. Was sent a new one… broke down as well. Was sent yet another one… you guessed it… broke down as well. Fantastic customerservice, no arguing, immediately sent us replacement until we said enough is enough. Then we were given a full refund. Show details
Sold a lemon, no customer service – Expensive pool cleaner, worked well for a short while. Still within warranty period but no way of contacting company - email contact comes back undeliverable and no answer to phone number. Do not buy their products. Show details
Cannot Be Trusted – I purchased a Seagull Pro and after just 4 months the battery stopped charging. After back and forth and taking videos etc and countless emails Aiper agreed to a refund. After acknowledging the returned item it has now been over 4 weeks and still no refund received. Every few days its the same templated response and apologies. Then they simply lie… Read more
and say the refund has been processed check with Paypal. Still nothing. This is simply a company that cant be trsuted. Avoid at all costs.
Sent a broken product and this company actually has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE – THEY DONT HAVE ANY IN PERSON CUSTOMER SERVICE. Received this item last week and was unable to use it as it wouldn't charge. Attempted to call Aiper Customer service. Calls are answered by an automated message and you are told to email. Emails receive an AI generated response and someone emails back about 24hrs later. We were obviously unable to… Read more
resolve our service issue by this method and proceeded to organise a return as per Australian Consumer Law.
We were told our EMAILED return slip will take 1-2 business days to process - WHY!?
We still haven't received it 72hrs later. We've emailed Aiper (again) to ask for oir return slip as promised and received an AI automated email response (again).
One week after we received a product that was broken our issue has not been resolved. We have never been able to use it and a week later are out $1000 and haven't even been able to initiate the return. I hate to imagine how long we will have to wait for our refund. We have received NO HELP from Aiper and they are actually the worst company I've ever dealt with in my 40 years of consumerism. I'm not exaggerating.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Avoid at all costs – Doesn't work as good as the Kreepy Krawly, and that didn't work. Charge unit trips the power to my house. Have been contacting customer service for 4 months and had no reply. Customer service is non existent. Buyer BEWARE ! Show details
(Was) My best mate – Cleans my 6x4 oval pool squeaky clean. Very fine mesh catches all the little particles like sand. Runs almost exactly 90 minutes as claimed. Very easy to clean. No fuss, just an excellent little pool robot vacuum. Updating my review after 2 years. First unit died after 9 months and has been replaced under warranty with no fuss. The replacement… Read more
unit died bit more than a year later. So I've got exactly 2 years to a date of pool cleaning for $429.99 which is not the worst deal ever but not great either.
