ALDI Pie Makers

Could Not Recommend – This is the first Aldi product we’ve bought that hasn’t been satisfactory. It is very easy to burn yourself when putting the pastry into the hot moulds and the pastry starts to melt if it takes too long. The puff pastry on top does not cook evenly. Considering the cost of the ingredients and the amount of time it takes to make a pie, it would be far easier and cheaper to go to a bakery and buy one. Show details
Excellent pie to eat – ALDI pie maker is excellent to use and easy to clean and yum pies Show details
Not a good buy – Instructions say to pre-heat but then when you put the pastry into the pie shapes it 'melts down' before you have a chance to put the filling in. Also it is very hard to get the tops of the pies to brown off nicely and the pastry to cook all the way through. Show details
A bit disappointing – I’m an Aldi fan but their pie maker is disappointing. I’ve tried it twice and it doesn’t cook the tops of the pies evenly so you are left with patches of cooked pastry and raw pastry. It’s very fiddly to clean as well. Am returning for a refund. Show details
Disapointed, Did not cook evenly! – Purchased the 4 deep pie maker. The pies pastry did not cook evenly on the top. I tried leaving the ones requiring more cooking on the top and moving them into the position of the ones that cooked better but it only cooked the bottoms more leaving the top pastry raw. Very disappointed. Show details
This exceeded my expectations! – I purchased this last week and made savoury pies. They cooked really well and fast. I did not expect them to turn our so we'll. Glad I purchased this! I think these would be too big for sweet pies though. Show details
