never fallen apart either. Perhaps I do not grind my teeth much at night like others may. I have adjusted it twice during that time in order to keep my bottom jaw forward enough to open my airway sufficiently. I dont have any pain or any problems eating during the day...it doesnt seem to have made any difference to my teeth that I can notice. I am really very pleased with this device...I would buy another one and I am recommending it to my son also. By the way, I tried a CPAP machine before this device, but it was too noisy and cold and uncomfortable....compared to this device for me to wear.

It works for me – I know this device doesn’t work for everyone but for it works brilliantly. I have been using it for several months now and have had to adjust it a few times so that now my lower jaw protrudes significantly when I wear it but my snoring which used to be loud is now just heavy breathing. My bite has changed but it’s such a small price to pay for a quiet nights sleep.

Works for me – Different thing work for different people with different causes of Apnea, This works great for me, couldn't stand the CPAP machine, this does take some getting use to, I had jaw pain for a while but everything has settled now, I have been using for over a year now and haven't had any elbow strikes to my ribs now for a long time I think its worth a try and persisting with , if it doesn't work move on

Was a great product for the first few months then it became a 1 – worked fine for the first few months , then it started to fall apart, not it breaks in 2 a few times a night I have woken up with one part in my mouth the other missing, sometime 3 times a nite, kid of a hazard and I wonder if this is why they are now on special

Excellent product, but does take 7-10 days to get used to – The micro adjustment allowed me to dial in the #6 setting which was best for me. Stopped my snoring and I feel so much better. My wife is so happy.

My new partner has this. Waste of time and money – Its 3am. My new partner is snoring like a freight train - as he does every night. He uses this device - every night, although i have no idea why - as it clearly doesnt work. I even have "snore blocker" ear plugs in as im typing this, and i may as well not even bother, his snoring is that loud I can hear him clear as a bell. I'm super tired and cranky....

Poor product, based on very dubious science. Will not rest until I get a refund – You will find many "unbiassed reviews" written by the manufacturer of this device all over the internet. diagnosed with a mild form of sleep apnea. it is the kind which only is apparent in certain sleeping/head positions and has been explained to me as being one of the most common types.

Apparently CPAP is a very viable option for me, and is clinically proven

I asked my dentist about a MAD and the starting cost for a device was $2500 and was not covered by my health insurance, so I opted for the Apnea RX.

There are many dubious features of the company's marketing of this device:

It is "adjustable". A feature that the uselessness of which you will discover the first week you have used it.

They make several disclaimers regarding the dental pain/discomfort that "might" occur during use. Just a heads up for anyone considering a MAD whether or not its made by a dentist - you almost definitely WILL have discomfort as a minimum for a minimum of half a day making activities such as eating far less pleasurable.

They proudly advertise it is made in USA - whatever difference that is going to make I am unsure of.

They claim it is a "Class X medical device". I guess this is to distinguish it from the $2 ones you can buy from eBay.

They have a 30 day money back policy. Well, 30 days is not nearly enough to prove that this device is making any difference due to the vast variations in any sleeping pattern. The intensive TV and radio campaigns fail to provide any substance by way of clinical evidence of efficacy or proof of concept. The bottom line.

IT DOESN'T WORK

If you have sleep apnea or someone suspects you have, get a sleep study done. They are scientists/doctors and will only try to help you (not just take your money)

Follow their recommendations to the letter. If you are diagnosed positively, and a CPAP trial fails, then go to a DENTIST and get a proper fitted MAD. A MAD relies on a dentist's accurate impressions of your teeth in order to create an effective suction by which your mouth doesn't just fall open and defeat the original purpose.

Please understand that if you buy a product off ebay or such as this one you are flushing your money down the toilet.
