It is difficult to get water out of the straw. I'm having trouble as an adult, let alone my 6 month old. This is my first experience with a b.box and I can't say that I'm thrilled. Have I missed something? Is there a way to create easier flow through the straw?

Negative star rating – B.Box should be ashamed of their customer service, I made a simple purchase, their website glitched and didn’t have the item I had selected at checkout, I re-selected my items, to then have the items appear twice post check out, charging for all doubled items. I emailed customer service a message to assist in rectifying the issue, to have a… Read more

condescending reply, not once, but twice. Upon delivery of my package today, they have also sent incorrect items. I have honestly never used a company with such poor efforts, manorism or consideration for others. I would go elsewhere for your purchase. Negative 10 star rating from me.

Not a hygienic product – This product is good, only for first few weeks or months. The silicone straw comes with an airgap internally where brushes (again bought from b box) cannot reach. The fungus/mold or whatever grows in that airgap, then gets into the straw. The straw can be cleaned but the fungus/growth stays as it is. It flows back into the straw after some use. … Read more

We bought first cup and were washing it every 3-4 days and encountered this issue in couple of weeks. Thinking it could be our lapse of attention, bought another cup, cleaned it everyday and the growth came back in couple of months.

Patronising Customer Service and Risk to Health – (not worthy of any stars) I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent customer service experience and the quality of your products. Despite making a significant purchase of over $70, your company has failed to provide adequate customer support, particularly regarding the replacement of defective straws. The low-quality… Read more

straws, which have never been subjected to harsh cleaning methods, have deteriorated within a mere three months of purchase. This premature degradation poses a serious health risk to my children, especially considering the growing concerns about microplastic pollution.

Such negligent behavior not only undermines consumer trust but also has severe environmental implications. I am deeply concerned that your company's disregard for product quality and customer satisfaction could lead to widespread harm.

I intend to escalate this matter to relevant consumer protection agencies and share my negative experience on various social media platforms. I urge your company to take immediate action to rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Love it! – I’ve tried many bottles for my son, including trying to get him to take water out of his formula bottle but he wouldn’t so I just thought he hated water. As soon as I have him his bbox he wouldn’t put it down and had a big long drink. The only problem is the straw, I tired it first just to see and I couldn’t get any out so I had to put a knife through the hole to open it up a bit, not sure if I was suppose to do that? But it works Show details

Took some getting used to but now the only cup my 1yo will use – It took him a while to work out the valve in the straw - but once he got it - my son wont use anything else. Valve makes the straw leak proof. Maybe instructions could be clearer. Show details

Don't buy this ! – My toddler has bit through the silicone so fast it's not worth the money, the silicone spout is not available to buy, only the lid so you end up with heaps of the lids with no use . The straw gets mouldy , even if I clean it constantly . Wouldn't recommend.

Check the straw before you give to your baby! – My GP recommended this sippy cup, so I bought it despite already having one of a different brand. Unfortunately the straw does not suck up and fluid, glad I tried it before giving it to my baby to use! Super disappointed. I’m sure this product would be good if the straw worked. I thought maybe I just got a dodgy one but seems like it’s quite common! Show details

Terrible Design – Very difficult to drink from, I don't get how it's won awards. Kid would need to bite and chew to get anything out of it. I tried it myself and could hardly get a drop, hurts cheeks trying to suck so hard. The fact it has a lid makes it spill proof, it really shouldn't have a valve. Free flow design would be more beneficial to a developing child. Also straw takes forever to dry, mould will no doubt grow. Show details

No quality control, straws grow mould – I wrote to customer service as the last 4 sippy cups I have purchased have grown mould. I clean them.every night, with the straw cleaner and sterilised them. I wanted to know if the products have changed manufacturing teams as I never had any issues with these cups with my first child's use. I was sent a reply from Maria in customer service with… Read more

instructions on how to clean! I am absolutely disgusted with the response as no acknowledgement was taken to the products quality. Is there such a thing as quality control practices that are being followed? Is there such a thing as customer service these days? As Maria definitely needs to be trained. Is the company aware of the product growing mould and the dangers that be caused to ones health drink from a straw with mould? Very disgusting and disappointing response. Never will I purchase anything from this company again.

Dissatisfied with cleaning this product – I bought this for my grandson but l'm very disappointed with trying to clean it. I watched the you tube instructions on cleaning it but can't flush out the straw .One you tube showed it being cleaned with a tiny brush, if this is required l feel it should come with it. Can’t drink until you cut the straw – I purchased this bottle for the Disney factor and because of the awards thinking this would lead to a good sound purchase. I was wrong. Other reviews here indicate why. You have to squash the straw to drink from it. Babies suck, they don’t squash unless teething. I purchased this as my daughters first cup, she’s 6 months old, but have now cut the… Read more

Significant design flaws – This cup has significant design flaws with the straw that turn what could otherwise be a good product into an overall bad one. The new version of the straw requires the child to lightly bite the straw to be able to suck to extract liquid. This was done to make it leak proof presumably but teaches an unnatural behaviour that cannot be easily… Read more

taught to very young children. Additionally, the straw is difficult to sanitize, which can lead to ongoing problems with hidden mould. Could they have not chosen a more heat resistant straw material with a bigger hole at the top? I'd rather minor leaks when open rather than teaching bad behaviours to children just so they can drink. The old version of the straw seems to have not had this problem, which means this was a deliberate design choice and not a mistake.

A solution seems to be trimming the straw down towards the valve. Doesn't fix the mould problem, but at least you can drink with it, and remains fairly leak proof when the lid is closed.

Dumb design though.

Trouble getting liquid through straw – I noticed my daughters drinks weren’t lowering like the straw was blocked. I tried and nothing came through. So I bought another (not cheap) thinking it was faulty and same thing. After reading the reviews I’ve noticed this to be a common issue and says lips need to pinch the straw for liquid to come through. That’s not an easy thing to tell a toddler, when the want a drink they should just be able to sip and go. Show details

Hard to drink – I bought a sippy cup (Disney Ariel version) overseas for my baby, and he seemed struggled to drink from it, I tried to use it and I found it really hard to drink from it too! Not sure it’s a faulty one or it’s just the design problem.

Worst toddler bottle – I was gifted one of these b box sippy cups and was surprised that when my son dropped it (from approx 20cm off floor) the sliding lid broke at one of the clip points. Great for toddlers, but trim the straw! – Great bottle for toddlers. My daughter has used one since 6mo, now 15mo. I always trim the straw down just below the bite valve as it’s unnatural to bite down when using a straw and I don’t want my daughter in that habit. Still doesn’t leak with valve cut off. No issue with mould as in other reviews. Show details

Not working and dissapointed – My daughter is now 6 months old so I was looking forward to seeing how she would drink from the bbox straw sippy cup I purchased for her, to my surprise she couldn't suck anything up, so I tried and I couldn't sip anything up either. I have sat here for the past 20mins trying to figure out if this is adult proof but can not find the cause of it, other than it being faulty. I have emailed so I hope i get a helpful response
