b.box sippy cup

It is difficult to get water out of the straw. I'm having trouble as an adult, let alone my 6 month old. This is my first experience with a b.box and I can't say that I'm thrilled. Have I missed something? Is there a way to create easier flow through the straw?

condescending reply, not once, but twice. Upon delivery of my package today, they have also sent incorrect items. I have honestly never used a company with such poor efforts, manorism or consideration for others. I would go elsewhere for your purchase. Negative 10 star rating from me.

Love it! – I’ve tried many bottles for my son, including trying to get him to take water out of his formula bottle but he wouldn’t so I just thought he hated water. As soon as I have him his bbox he wouldn’t put it down and had a big long drink. The only problem is the straw, I tired it first just to see and I couldn’t get any out so I had to put a knife through the hole to open it up a bit, not sure if I was suppose to do that? Took some getting used to but now the only cup my 1yo will use – It took him a while to work out the valve in the straw - but once he got it - my son wont use anything else. Valve makes the straw leak proof. Maybe instructions could be clearer. Show details

Don't buy this ! – My toddler has bit through the silicone so fast it's not worth the money, the silicone spout is not available to buy, only the lid so you end up with heaps of the lids with no use . The straw gets mouldy , even if I clean it constantly . Wouldn't recommend.

Check the straw before you give to your baby! – My GP recommended this sippy cup, so I bought it despite already having one of a different brand. Unfortunately the straw does not suck up and fluid, glad I tried it before giving it to my baby to use! Super disappointed. I’m sure this product would be good if the straw worked. Terrible Design – Very difficult to drink from, I don't get how it's won awards. Kid would need to bite and chew to get anything out of it. I tried it myself and could hardly get a drop, hurts cheeks trying to suck so hard. The fact it has a lid makes it spill proof, it really shouldn't have a valve. Free flow design would be more beneficial to a developing child. Also straw takes forever to dry, mould will no doubt grow. Show details

Avoid this product at all costs – Horrible product. Milk always squirts from the top whenever my child tries to drink. And to make it worse parts get mouldy very easily. Show details

No quality control, straws grow mould – I wrote to customer service as the last 4 sippy cups I have purchased have grown mould. I clean them.every night, with the straw cleaner and sterilised them. instructions on how to clean! I am absolutely disgusted with the response as no acknowledgement was taken to the products quality. Is there such a thing as quality control practices that are being followed? Is there such a thing as customer service these days? As Maria definitely needs to be trained. Is the company aware of the product growing mould and the dangers that be caused to ones health drink from a straw with mould? Very disgusting and disappointing response. Never will I purchase anything from this company again.

Capillary rise issue – This sippy cups shoots out the content if it's a bit warm due to pressure difference. Make a milk drink in lukewarm water , close lid, open the lid... there goes the fountain! Show details

They leak – Really good at first but have had to replace so many straws as they continually leak and leave a mess. The last straws we bought lasted less than a month and we were very careful when cleaning them.

Hard to drink – I bought a sippy cup (Disney Ariel version) overseas for my baby, and he seemed struggled to drink from it, I tried to use it and I found it really hard to drink from it too! Not sure it’s a faulty one or it’s just the design problem.

Terrible quality – The box stainless steel drink bottle and bento lunchbox are terrible quality. Did t even last 1 school term and my girl is gentle with her things. I contacted customer care and they said they would post a replacement lid for the drink bottle and months on, they have not. I have followed up with no response. I decided to keep them for home use only. I then noticed that despite regularly cleaning and airing them, mould would build up very quickly. What a waste of money. Completely unreliable, unhealthy and flimsy. Do not buy.

Have bought 2 and baby cant suck from both of them – So hard to suck. I have already both 2 and both have the same issue. Water tastes like plastic & straw breaks easily – Cute, lightweight design. Works well and seals in water. I wash out the bottle daily and refill it with fresh water but the water still tastes like plastic. The straw broke after a few months of using and washing it.

Toddler can’t even use it – Don’t bother buying this sippy cup. I purchased one today at the chemist for my son who isn’t well. Tried to give him some icy water and he can’t even suck the water up.
