Baby BeeHinds Night Nappy

Finally no leaks! – Love this night nappy! We get 12+ hrs out of these nappies with our 13month old. We started using when bub was 5months. They are a bit bulky but as bub gets older they fit better. We use with a bbh wool cover (lanolised). Bub would normally leak through disposable and have tried other nappies boosted.

Not for us – Lasted 7 hours before it wet right through and this was with the lanolised wool cover. Didn't get any longer with the PUL cover either. Very bulky. Very expensive especially because you also have to pay for covers (and they recommend the pricey wool which was no better than PUL) and sized so have to regularly upsize.

The best night nappy for absorbency and 'dryness' – Really absorbent and feels so beautifully soft. The best absorbency I've found and bubs still feels dry in the morning. The insert is rather fiddly and makes the nappy very bulky, but they work! I mix and match my other inserts with the BB Night Nappy shell and that's trimmer and still very absorbent. Nice, but not easy – I bought these nappies after having great success with the BBH fitted nappies but expecting the night nappies to be even better. I was disappointed, The long tails sections are really difficult to use, especially when you are exhausted from waking up with a newborn every few hours. They don't sit as high on the stomach as the fitteds too so we get more leaks up that way. velour feels nice, can use a wool cover with them too confusing to use!

very heavy wetter. I love that I can leave my son in this nappy all night without any leaks. Works well with the baby Beehinds cover or a wool cover. Great fit and no leaks. Love that you can adjust the insert to where it's needed. Love that it's so absorbant with all those layers of bamboo but still has a stay dry layer. Slow drying time and bulky but to be expected with such an absorbant nappy. I find that the nappy is usually slightly damp against my son's skin in the morning but he is a very heavy wetter.

very easy to use. reliable, very. absorbent, very!! the fit is brilliant with the adjustable waist and legs although I don't really think of it as a con, it kinda is a shame that a cover is required and that this nappy isn't available with built-in PUL

few times to reach its peak absorbency. I did wash the nappies about 3-4 times before having my son wear it for the first time, but still had 1 or 2 leaks at the start- this may have also been because I was still experimenting with the front snaps for sizing and fit and also how to fold the insert to best suit my son. It could have also been because i needed to lanolize his wool covers so that they were absorbent. During the first few nights i added another trifold insert in between his nappy and the cover in the wetzone, which helped. After about the first week, we have had no leaks since (i stopped using the trifold insert after about a week). (I also found once my son cut out his one night feed, he didn't wee as much at night). My son is in the MED atm he started using them at bout 5 months and is now 10mths around 8.5kg, but i have just put in an order for some in LRG. They are a low rise nappy, but i found that they were getting tight around his legs leaving red marks (and he isn't a chubby baby) and the rise was getting a little too low. I've heard some other mums have been a bit confused about the fit of these nappies on their bubs.

We use 5 nappies in rotation (washing every 2 days) which works very well. They can take a little while longer to dry in winter or on days with no sun, which means that I stick them in front of our heater to help them along (we dont own a dryer). The smell in the morning can be bad at times if the nappy is very wet. I always rinse them out before dry pailing them, which helps with the smell and is good to do with nappies anyway.

My son has never gotten nappy rash from wearing them over night too.

Overall, we are very happy with how this nappy performs. Very very absorbent ( my son is a heavy wetter). can go stiff after washing, but i find adding some bicarb to the wash or scrunching the nappy and insert before snapping back together does soften it. I had some issues with the fit (pls refer to below for explanation). The smell in the morning can be pretty strong at times!

Great Nappies – A professional business, quick postage, comes in different sizes to fit small to large bubs. Also has velcro and snaps available. They are not as bulky as some other brands. inexpensive, absorbent, soft, nice fit wets through night nappies doesn't last 13hours for heavy wetter

Excellent – I think this a great nappy for night time use. I have 4 of them in the large size and this has meant I always have at least one on hand to use (as I wash every second day and line dry - which takes longer in winter time). HIghly recommended. bamboo which lovely and soft on baby's skin. It is highly absorbant (we have not had a leak and we use a wool cover that barely gets wet). You can adjust the booster to add more layers of absorbency to where your baby needs it most (can be different for boys and girls). Snaps at the waist and around the thighs means you can get a sung fit to suit your baby. You can take the booster out of the nappy so that drying time is faster. It is a bulky nappy, but as I only use it at nighttime I don't see that as a real problem. My toddler can still walk/run/climb with ease in it. Drying time is a little longer than my cotton nappies (bamboo takes longer to dry than cotton).

Excellent – These nappies are absolutely beautiful and really good quality. They are really soft velour and I haven't had problems with my 2 1/2 year old wetting too much at night for them. leave baby too soggy and wet, with the stay dry fabric next to bub's skin. You can position the soakers wherever you need to. A bit hard to explain how to use these to dad/grandparents. They have to use disposables. You do need a cover with them but I am pretty sure you need a cover with every cloth night nappy.

a bit of a pain, compare to all in one designs, or pocket nappies. also, they are hugely bulky with the extra booster, and i imagine would be pretty uncomfortable for baby. also, with so much bulk it is hard to get the cover to fit over the entire nappy, to avoid leaks.
