Great quality carriers – The BabyBjorn Mini has proven to be a great quality investment for my family. It's an excellent compact carrier to wear both around the home whilst doing daily tasks, and when out, to keep little ones safe and close with hands free. I always liked the idea of this carrier over a wrap, because I felt more secure using slide anchors/clips (over… Read more

twists and knots) and found it very easy to put on whilst holding baby. As I was having twins, I had also purchased a second carrier - the Baby Bjorn One Air, for my husband. However, the mini was the better fitting option for early on. We were aware the compact mini model wouldn't last as long before babies outgrew it, but I chose to have the least bulky carrier, with no waist band for the earlier months after a scheduled caesarian. The only down falls I have found are that babies legs appear less comfortable when facing outwards from the carrier's chest and you can't purchase spare replacement parts should you need them for safety reasons. I have found all of my Baby Bjorn purchases to be quality constructed products. The Baby Bjorn Mini is priced fairly considering price per wear, the customer service team in Aust are extremely helpful and best of all it comes in a variety of fabrics, colours and patterns.

Perfect to travel with! – I have a few carriers and I find this to be the most compact and easiest carrier to travel with. They have a few cute designs and it’s my favorite. Show details

Must be doing something wrong – I’ve tried this so many times and I want to love it but I just don’t. After wearing it for more than 5 mins my back aches so much. I’ve tried to adjust the straps but there is no waist support. Only plus is it is easy to put on and off unlike other brands.

Perfect carrier for small babies – This carrier has been perfect for my small baby. She was born premature and is slow to gain weight (tiny). We tried 4 carriers (1 wrap, Konny, Manduca, Ergobaby 360 Omni Mesh). She liked none of them as she was still too small (we waited until she was 3.5kg to try all), so we purchased this one and it was a hit for our lil one straight away (she… Read more

was 4.2kg when the mini was purchased and still didn’t fit in the 360 Omni Mesh). She’s comfortable, her chin doesn’t touch chest and I can kiss the top of her head (follows TICKS guideline).

It is easy to easy use unlike other carriers (only 2 parts) and can quickly be put on when you need to run in and out of somewhere (eg last min ingredient shopping/daycare drop off/pick up)/chasing after a toddler. She sleeps in it well and comfortably (she has reflux and the upright position is perfect for her). You can wear it comfortably for walks too.

I purchased the cotton one at Baby Bunting for $99 - a bargain (considering we’ve spent lots in trying to find a carrier our daughter liked). This is suited to newborns and small babies (or when Bub is 12 months old depending on size). It is priced reasonably for the short timeframe it’ll be used. Once Bub outgrows it you can always sell it on market place or give to a friend with a newborn to use.

The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it doesn’t have the waist band for back support like most structured carriers (when you wear it for 4 hours per day, it can hurt your back. Thanks emergency cesarean. Note: I started wearing this 15 weeks PP and tried the others 8 weeks PP as per Dr’s approval). I also imagine it’ll get too hot to wear it in Summer. I hadn’t realised there was a mesh version, had I done proper research, I would have purchased that one instead (3am feed purchase lol). However, I am hoping Bub will fit in the 360 Omni Mesh by then and like it. Being black, it gets lint quite easily (problem solved using a lint remover).

Overall if you have a small baby and have tried other carriers to no avail, I highly recommend the Babybjorn Mini.

Great for new mums – I love this carrier. It doesn’t have an awkward infant insert and it’s suitable for a newborn straight out of the box. I can easily load baby in and out by myself, and as a first time mum this feels like an accomplishment. I love that the carrier is adjustable for a baby up to 74cm (+). My baby is 64cm at 4 months so we’ll get a fair bit more… Read more

use yet. I also love that from 5 months baby can be forward facing. My bub is getting to the point where he wants to see everything- so this will be useful. Carrier is quite compact but feels study and well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Close! – Really enjoyed this carrier but bubs sure does grow out quick! Perfect for when they are small and there’s a clips to make everything smaller than it already is for that fresh newborn stage. I found it to be really beneficial having both arms free and the way it was stuck to my body enabled me to move easily and complete housework without much… Read more

hassle. I have another carrier and if I were to compare the two - this one is much better in the way of adjusting straps and getting baby in and out. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll use it time and time again. One thing that really peeved me though was the black material. It gets fluffy so easily! And it shows really obviously due to the type of black material. Plus it loses colour also. Upsetting considering it’s a babybjorn and not exactly the cheapest carrier but it can end up looking that way simply due to the fabric. That for me was the biggest letdown

All new mums need to have one! – I have this carrier and it is literally one of the best things I bought when I was pregnant with my baby. Its perfect for when you need to quickly drop by the shops and don’t want to bring out the entire pram. Its so easy to put on and it feels supportive for the baby. Only negatives that I experienced was the black colour faded really quickly… Read more

despite it almost always being out of the sun and also when you use this carrier with a newborn their head feels ‘lost’ inside and I always felt paranoid about whether she could breathe easily !
