Missing part – I bought this lawn mower from Mills Brands. I have experienced their poor customer service after finding out missing part according to the lawn mower manual. They asked me to pay the cost if I return the lawn mower.
Hi Dan, We understand your feedback regarding the missing lever. As previously explained, there was an oversight in the parts list. While the lever wasn't included in the original product, the product description and photos accurately reflected this.
To accommodate your request, we offered to cover the return postage fee. However, the Change of Mind policy deduction would still apply, as the product was functioning as intended.
Unfortunately, we haven't received a response from you regarding our offer. We hope this means you've decided to keep the mower and are satisfied with its performance. Please refer to the user manual for instructions on adjusting the mower's level without the lever.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We're here to assist you.
Kind regards, Jay
Battery died after only 4 lawn cuttings – One of the duel batteries died after only four lawn cuttings contacted Edison and asked if given the circumstances if they would be prepared to issue a replacement battery free, the answer was no I would have to buy a replacement battery at a cost of $69 dollars. Ryobi replace faulty batteries for up to years. Really disappointing and I will not buy an Edison product again.
Follow-up · One week out of warranty , properly stored in my garage and connected to the battery charger that it came with, the battery charger was not switched on during storage period.
Hi Billy, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review regarding your lawn mower purchased on 12 Mar 2022.
I have reviewed your case and I can see that when you initially reported the issue on 13 Feb 2023, our technician confirmed a broken start handle, which we promptly replaced free of charge. Following this replacement, there were no further reported issues until 03 November 2023, when you mentioned a problem with the battery.
It's worth noting that batteries have a limited lifespan and are considered consumable components, which may require replacement over time. Unfortunately, the report of the battery issue on 03 Nov 2023 fell outside the 12-month warranty period, as you correctly pointed out.
It's also essential to recognise that different sellers may have varying warranty policies and while we empathize with your circumstances, we must adhere to our warranty policies consistently, as outlined in our Returns and Warranty Policy available on our website: external link
Your feedback is highly valuable to us, and we will strive to ensure that our product information remains as transparent as possible. You can always message us via external link if you have further questions or concerns.
Regards, Jane

I recently posted a review critical of Mytopia/Eddison from whom I purchased a battery for my Electrical lawnmower Mytopia sent a battery they assured me would fit the Electric Lawn Mower, the battery did not fit the mower and upon contacting Mytopia the advised they would refund the cost of the battery. Due to a number of issues/misunderstanding I was under the impression the refund had not been processed. I only realised a refund had been made when after I had written a review being critical of Mytopia for not making the refund and the company contacted me to say the refund had been processed and the amount for the battery had in fact been deposited in my bank account back in March 2026. Following receiving this information I contacted my bank and found the refund had been made, I would therefore like to retract my criticism of Mytopia in this incident and apologise for any adverse effect my review has caused. Hi there Billy, Thank you for taking the time to provide this update.
We're pleased that the refund was successfully located and confirmed with your bank. While the battery supplied was unfortunately not compatible with your lawn mower, we're glad we were able to process the refund and clarify the situation.
We appreciate your willingness to revisit the matter and share the outcome. Customer feedback is important to us, and we value the opportunity to resolve any concerns that arise.
If you ever need assistance in the future, our team will be happy to help.
Kind regards,

Impressive after first use – Initially, I read other reviews before deciding on this unit. I was skeptical of the lightweight materials, as they seem flimsy, yet I was impressed with how well the mower worked. The lawn is approx 4.5 x 1.5M and an undulating surface, yet the mower handled it with ease. Even though it is only the first time I used it, based on this exerience, I would recommend it.
Purchased in for $269.

Lawn Mowing without pain – Starting to show my age, when I can no longer start my petrol mower without throwing out my shoulder on that pull cord. So I tried a corded mower. It was a revelation, as it cut through the grass relatively easy, but that damn cord was a real bother. My front and back yards, plus nature strip would take me almost 1.5 hours, half of which was moving the cord out of the way. So I decided to try a battery mower. Now these can be quite pricey, but seeing I already had some battery tools from Baumr-AG, I thought I'd try out their entry level candidate. The 450 CX is a modest sized mower with only a 13" wide cut. (Suitable for small lawns in say a Townhouse or garden unit). When comparing with my petrol mower 22", and my corded electric at 18", I was under no impression that this was going to be easy.... Surprise surprise! This mower is so light, is was a breeze to push it around. Seeing the cut is so narrow, it had no problem cutting a longish suburban lawn (Buffalo turf), and even though I had to mow the lawn an extra third times, in length, I found it "almost" enjoyable. Hardly any noise, no smoke, no fumes, no petrol can and the two standard 2.0Ah batteries gave around 25 minutes of mowing. I was able to complete the lot, front, back, and nuture strip in one go. Sure, I was sweating from running around like "a man possessed", but I did complete it, and in record time. My shoulder was still intact too. My wife couldn't believe it! I now have a choice of upgrading to a larger model, or upgrading my batteries to the 4.0Ah. For now though, this little mower from Baumr-AG has convinced me, cordless mowing is the way to go. BTW, it's so easy to use, I mow almost every weekend unless the grass is very wet. My lawn looks professionally manicured. Happy as.
