I purchased a Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam from The Good Guys Carindale less than a year ago and it has already stopped working. I contacted Bissell customer service and, after a long wait, they troubleshot the issue over the phone and then insisted it be sent to their service centre via a Post Office barcode. It has now been almost 15 days and there has been no proper arrangement made for a replacement or a timely fix. In the meantime, I’m unable to clean my floors and have been left without a working machine. For a premium product to fail in under a year, and then receive such slow, almost non-existent support, is very disappointing. I would seriously think twice before buying this product again or recommending it to others.

Absolute waste of money for the exorbitant price. Steam function works but vaccuum function is barely noticable, so the result is dirty water all over the floor that you then have to clean up with something else. Also, it only removes light dirt from hard floors. You will be there all day trying to remove an actual dirty patch. Save youself lots of money and get a cheap steam mop, which works better, and doesn't actually leave the floor with puddles of water.

This compact, corded, vacuum cleaner and mop all in 1 at the same time!! It works amazing on hard floors and spruces up low pile carpet. I have cut my floor cleaning time in half now that I no longer need to vacuum first then drag out the mop and bucket. For someone with ADHD, this has been an absolute game changer!! Highly highly recommend.
Follow-up · Still absolutely loving it!!! I used it daily if not multiple times a day. It's great whilst I have toddlers running around spilling EVERYTHING, I just grab my machine and go. I want to find a roller specific for carpet because I think using it on the carpet as regularly as I do, it wares out the roller quicker. It doesn't get right to the edges, which can be frustrating, but nothing that a little wipe over can't fix. I still rate it 5 stars and absolutely love it still!!
Follow-up · Still LOVE it, I did have to send it away as the roller stopped rolling, but it was easy to organise warranty
