I find it very noisy, difficult to move, can't get under lounge furniture very far, can't change power level for upholstery, curtains etc. Overall, I'm very disappointed as reviews I had read seemed positive. Very short cable - I have attached a… Read more

10m extension lead so I don't have to change sockets for every room in the house. Cleans carpets well, for the areas it can reach. Wooden floors also ok but the head is so large it can't access small spaces eg round toilet or bathroom fixtures.

Follow-up  · The box in the shop said it had a dusting attachment, but when we unpacked it didn't have one, but instead had a pet hair attachment and we don't have a pet. We asked at the shop if we could exchange attachment for one as advertised. He said he would get the duster, but it has never arrived. Crevice attachment and small roller work well. Very heavy and awkward to lift. Dustbin emptying and general parts cleaning very easy and efficient.

Bissell offers by email -Do not trust – I had a PowerFresh Slim and a PowerForce Helix Turbo Rewind in my cart.On 8 December I received an email taking pictures from my cart offering a 10% discount with code CLEAN1OF9DHXNPJ. The code did not work when I tried to complete order. I emailed and spoke with Bissell Consumer support. I got another email last evening 11 December again… Read more

from my cart showing the two items with Helix Turbo @ $199.00 and giving me an unique code B9NT3J7Z . I tried using the code though the price on the Helix Turbo changed to $249.00 on the payments screen. Again the code did not work. Called consumer support heard the same story cannot use on discounted items. The Helix Turbo is charged at full price. The offers to me stated "a little gift from us but hurry its only valid for 4 days!" Customer support did not care about the offers I received and could not tell me why Bissell does not honour the offers sent to me? How can one trust Bissell products or the service they speak of in their emails/ ads. Has anyone else had the same experience ?

Bissel don't want to honour their warranty – We bought this vacuum and it was good on our carpet, until the belt broke, this within the warranty period. We ordered a new belt from Bissel and put the new belt on, however the vacuum still didn't work, the rotating brush on the bottom wasn't rotating. We took the vacuum back to where we bought it and they sent it to Bissell for repair. … Read more

Nearly 6 weeks later we are still without a vacuum cleaner and Bissell are arguing saying it needs a new belt - which has already been replaced by us, which I can prove. Now they want video from the store showing it not working, which they're not happy about. Our next stop will be ACCC .

Good value for its price – Happy with our purchase. Although a bit loud, our previous one (different brand) has been way worse. We find this better for its price. Power is good as well. This does its job. Has a few different bits and pieces for vacuuming couch and small spaces which I find it great. Had it for around 6 months already and nil issues on short circuits. One … Read more

downside is it's not wireless but would not complain for its price. Also we just find when vacuuming our rug that due to its motor power, it sucks the rug most of the time. We do have those shaggy type rugs in the living. However, nil issues on timber floors. So far, we are happy with this purchase.

Useless on hard floors – Cheaply made. Very loud, especially on hard floors. Works fairly well on carpet but absolute trash on hard floors. The brush is continuous and therefore flicks everything away when using on hard floors rather than sucking it up. The cord is shorter than I've had on a vacuum cleaner. I bought it for $199 about 6-8 months ago. It is currently $149.… Read more

Honestly, still not worth it unless you ONLY have carpet and can't find better quality. I suspect this will last a year, maybe 2, before it either falls apart or dies. Would NOT recommend. A previous Bissell - about $300 in 2015 - was MUCH better in every way. This one is a huge disappointment.
