I have not experienced water temperature issues with my Bosch machine that other reviewers have reported.The four star rating reflects my disappointment that the touch control panel failed recently and required a service call. However, to their credit the Bosch service dept. provided a goodwill repair free of charge even though the manufacturer warranty period of 2 years had expired. I did have to remind them of the implied Australian consumer protection provisions before the goodwill gesture was made. Its an expensive built-in machine compared to bench top types and uses quite a bit of rinse water but I am very happy with the quality of the brew and convenience of the product , particularly when we have guests who request a variety of different coffee cups. If the maintenance instructions are followed and the thermos style milk container and connecting hose are rinsed out after use this machine is one of the best built-in coffee machines on the market
Helpp – After a power outage, the cleaning program stopped in step 2 and tells me to put the straw at the bottom and close the door and the operation does not continue. I would appreciate your help Show reply
Cold drinks – Paid £2300 for machine and it can’t even produce a hot drink if it contains milk. Engineer came out to look at it and it said it’s working fine and only steams or froths milk slightly and to maybe try long life milk so not out the fridge (horrible stuff) so I did and still the same just slightly warm. I think it’s ridiculous how the machine is so expensive and I have to warm my coffee up in microwave. Show details
Not hot enough – The machine is quiet and coffee itself comes out very good but it's just not hot enough even on the very high option. The milk is just not heated up hot enough. Its Disappointing considering how expensive this machine is. Will contact Bosch for explanation and see what they have to say about it. Show details
faulty machine – just bought my bosch built in coffee machine last 17th of May..used it since 23rd of May, weve been noticing that the coffee never get hot even u select the "very hot" option in temp and today 30th of May, its no longer working...it suddenly hang up and eventually stop working...guess we got a faulty machine! called bosch australia and they said… Read more
someone will contact me in 2 days to say when they will be able to come and check it out...ridiculous!and i just also found out that its wifi system doesnt work in Australia at all!very unhappy customer!
Fancy coffee for our office – This is a fancy inbuilt coffee machine from Bosch. Purchased this unit to replace a failed Miele inbuilt unit and this fit the existing cupboard hole perfectly. Selection is via a dial wheel (which is sometimes too smooth to turn) and animated LCD screens to show you what is about to be made.
Machine is very quiet when creating your drink.
It has a smallish insulated container for milk that needs to be washed and or stored in fridge when not in use.
Water container and coffee bean hopper are of decent size so don't need filling too often, but used bean grounds bin is tiny and needs emptying often which is a little annoying.
Machine can also a fav drink feature where you can create and save your own creation for future use.
Cleaning is easy although cleaning products seem expensive for what they usually are (check ingredients to see) but best to use so machine keeps running.
Front panel of machine is actually glass and got chips in it during first week of use by excited users, maybe not the best material with glass wear being moved around.
Now we wait to see if it outlasts the Miele which we had for 10yrs..
