Love it – I used this shampoo for more then 2 years. I was soooo happy with it. My hair were fine and I used to loose quite a few, I have long hair and I used to find them everywhere, after using Wen for a few months I stop loosing them and my hair were full and beautiful. Now I can not find it in New Zealand anymore, I'm back to regular shampoo and although I use very good brands like Karastase, Kevin Murphy and Nioxin, I'm back losing hair

Loved it – I used wen for over 7 years. I used the sweet almond mint. I am now in my mid 60's with very long hair. Kept my hair in great condition .i used the intensive conditioning every 4th shampoo. Now I can't buy it in New Zealand anymore the company I used stopped supplying it, I am very annoyed & back to using normal shampoo & conditioner, not nearly as good.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!?? – DO NOT USE !!!!! This product made my hair fall out ot, I have tried to get the company to reply to my destressing situation, but, NOTHING! !!!!!!! Good conditioner. Bad shampoo. Use with care – I've been using this product for 3 years. as I reverted back to my regular shampoo, my scalp felt clean and could breathe again. (I am using Dove "Hair Therapy Intensive Solutions" shampoo and would highly recommend it, and inexpensive too).

Good as a conditioner but only for thick/coarse/wiry hair: I have thick dry hay-like sun-damaged hair. When I use this product as a conditioner (only after shampooing) this product is great -- it tames my hair to become soft, smooth and silky. Make sure hair is thoroughly wet before applying, and allow some time before rinsing off. I still haven't found an alternative conditioner that performs as well.

People with fine hair won't like it: My partner has fine Irish hair and hates this product. complains hair becomes limp and lifeless.

Why am I looking for an alternative?

1) It's expensive -- there must be a conditioner out there that works just as well (or better) for a lot less

2) I'm worried by other people's accounts of hair thinning or falling out, though admittedly I haven't noticed this problem myself so far

3) I really dislike the way they try to make you buy more product:

- If you buy it, you're automatically enrolled into a program to buy more and it's up to you to cancel it

- The pump tube falls way short of reaching the bottom of the container, so there's plenty of potentially wasted product still at the bottom that's hard to get out

- The instructions are geared to get you to use as much product as possible. You should use common sense.

Having said all that, I am still using this product because I haven't yet found a conditioner that works better. Dove's "Hair Therapy Intensive Solutions" conditioner comes close and I use it on alternate days. If anyone has suggestions for a good conditioner for my type of hair, please let me know.

Don't make this mistake! – I have used the product for over a year now, and it has caused a huge problem of hair loss for me. It gradually impairs your follicles ability to produce hair. That company is being sued in a class-action suit in America and I'm going to see how to join them.

BEST HAIR PRODUCT EVER – I have been using Wen products and have never had any problems my hair is full and clean never lost a strand of hair , my friends use it also and love it.....

Been using Wen for 10 years and love it – Wen makes my hair so soft and in great condition. I have tried other products and nothing compares. Wish People would stop complaining about it, because it's getting difficult to buy it anywhere.

I don't use the recommended amount on the bottle, as I have shoulder length hair and find four pumps is ample and wash my hair twice a week in summer, once a week in winter, have no allergic reaction as ingredients are natural and sulfate free, ALSO, I do colour my hair and find that this product keeps my color looking bright for much longer, and touch up my roots once a month

Love it! Gentle to your hair and scalp – really love it, I used the lavender scented one to start. really great to take overseas as well just change to a normal Tupperware type container. I find I don't need as much as is stated on the packet so lasts me a lot longer

other shampoo I have to use a conditioner (of good quality) and oil before blow drying it and then it's all flying away but with Wen almond mint cleanser it's just fabulous and I get comments all the time how good my hair is and how shiny. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I don't know what these people who are writing bad reviews are talking about, you have to scrub your scalp and rinse it properly like you would any shampoo but we all have different hair texture etc so I suppose it won't be good for everyone like any other product out there. All I can say is that my husband and I just love this stuff and I have just bought two huge 950ml bottles as I would hate to run out. Try it for yourself and see you wont be disappointed especially if you have coloured hair or curly frizzy hair. Mine is straight and it just looks like good quality natural coloured hair now I use Wen cleanser.

Disappointing – When I first trialled this product I was thrilled with what it did for my hair and I just loved the smell of the mint. Two months on and I look like I sleep in a Haystack!! My hair is so dry and brittle, every time I brush my hair breaks and my hair is in the worst condition of its life. I don't not recommend this to anyone. I have very long, dry hair, thin but lots of it and this product does not work for me.

A Nice Product – I received this as a sample in my monthly Bellabox and used it this morning. so a lot has to be used, and it took 3 or 4 minutes each time I used it to wash out, and I still was unable to wash all of the product out (but I figured it was okay for some to be left in as a leave in conditioner, as is suggested). It is not something that I would use all the time, despite its pleasant smell and it leaving my hair smooth and moisturised. So overall a nice product, but I prefer my hair products to be relatively easy to wash out, unlike this.

Beware - Chaz Dean will lock you into a subscription without you authorising it!!! – I purchased one Wen product online on Sephora. Be very wary ordering this product, unless you want to be paying upwards of $130 monthly regardless or whether or not you have finished (or even enjoyed) previous products, this is not a good option.

As far as product quality goes, my hair felt conditioned, but was immensely oily.

This is horrible – I usually use Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner which makes my hair beautifly soft and shiny. Thought I'de try Wen and was very dissappointed as it makes my hair very dry and fizzy, totally different to my previous mentioned products. Love my Coconut products far better and been using it for years now, it never failed.

You have to make sure your hair is completely saturated before applying. And I mean dripping wet. And to massage into your hair, really working it in for at least a couple of minutes, and make sure it's completely rinsed out.

I've already ordered a months supply and even though it's obviously pricier than most hair shampoo/conditioners, it's really not that much more than my usual salon products Hair is softer, shiner, clean and light. Takes longer to complete the washing process in the shower, as it really needs to be fully massaged through the hair.

Product is Horrible. Marketing strategy even worse – Try using the product for more than an month and your hair will be much worse than before. It takes months to restore you hair back to salon treatment quality. Deceptive marketing is the icing on the cake. Not a pleasant experience all round. Will never buy hair care from this supplier again.

TOTALLY recommended and I have only used it once – I washed my hair with Wen Sweet Almond Mint this morning and styled it as per normal. Normally after I straighten my hair it looks frizzy and lifeless and basically damn awful. BUT It looked fantastic this morning after styling. It was glossy and shiny. Any attempt to return your product, complain, or cancel your "subscription" is directed first to a call center which takes a message and never returns calls, or emails that go without a response. The entire setup is built to make it too difficult for you to cancel or get your money back. Even if you send the product back, they will deny having received it, despite registered post evidence. Dodgy practices are common for this company globally, as can be seen on the multiple negative reviews on ripoffreport.com and pissedconsumer.com.

greasy and frizzy. Not sure how anyone can get 1 month worth of washes from the bottle. I can't do it on medium hair not sure how anyone with long hair could at 32 pumps per wash. At this rate I would need 3 bottles per month and it is not worth $90pcm.

This is AMAZING – I absolutely loved it!! It beats all the shampoos hands down! Definitely give it a go! Worth the money best value for money! Not worth the money, horrible product – I was using Wen Haircare system for approx 1 year, for the first few months the product worked great for me but these past few months I have been suffering from server dandruff from using this cleansing conditioner which didn't go until I changed to a different shampoo. Don't recommend buying The texture Expensive and gave me an itchy scalp

wen-guthy renkr – i am still waiting for this wen hair care product-which may be super fantastic, but the company guthy renker which you have to deal with does not respond to emails and does everything on their power to avoid dealings over the phone! ordered a month ago-have heard nothing from them who knows!

The only change in my routine has been the introduction of Wen and I've read reviews on other sites where consumers are experienceing similar problems. It's quite literally been a "crying shame" for me. Please, please, please don't risk your hair nor waste your money and time.

sit perfect everyday without alot of maintanance but i still have to style, blowdry, straighten my hair everyday but it is healthier and shiny. just air dries. So many people have commented on how nice my hair looks. The added bonus is my scalp is healthy too. I don't use the recommended number of pumps as I found this to be too heavy. I use about 8 pumps mixed with a little water to help spread it. My normal 3 month supply lasts about 4.5 months so I find it quite good value. Quality product that does what it says. Nothing provided you rinse it REALLY well.
