Love that it is low tox for my daughter, there was no smell at all when first opened. It was also not delivered in a flat box - which is great! The materials feel beautiful and extremely comfortable!

We have been very happy with our eco kids double mattress. Our daughter is 2 and has been having consistent nights sleep since we’ve bought it. Plenty of room for her to move and flip around! Because it a double, it’s also accommodated Mum and Dad a couple nights during sickness and we’ve even slept well! After trying a few options, the Eco Kids Single Mattress has been a surprisingly good find.
First impression: it actually feels like a proper mattress — not too hard, not too squishy, and supportive without feeling like a plank. My child took to it straight away, which is honestly half the battle.
The second thing I noticed was no overwhelming “new mattress smell.” Anyone who has unpacked a boxed mattress and felt like they’ve opened a chemistry experiment will appreciate this.
Comfort-wise it seems to strike the right balance. Bedtime has been smoother, sleep has been solid, and there have been no complaints about lumps, bumps, or mysterious “uncomfortable spots” (which kids can apparently detect instantly).
It also seems pretty resilient so far. It’s survived bedtime stories, blanket forts, enthusiastic jumping, and the occasional starfish sleeper without sagging or losing shape.
The unexpected bonus? During story time I’ve ended up lying on it more than once and thought, “This is actually really comfortable…”
All in all, it does exactly what you want a kids mattress to do: comfortable, supportive, well made, and drama-free.
And if you’re a parent, you’ll know that anything which makes bedtime even slightly easier deserves five stars!!

they do not accept mattresses with any marks — including the pre-existing stains from delivery.
I am now being asked to arrange donation or recycling myself and provide a receipt before a refund will be issued. This effectively shifts all responsibility and risk onto the customer, even though the product was not in acceptable condition upon delivery.
At this stage, the issue remains unresolved. I am still waiting for the company to either arrange proper collection or process the refund.
Buyers should be aware that the “150-night trial” may not be as straightforward as advertised.

Follow-up · A few months in and still perfectly happy with this mattress. No off-gassing smells, still feels brand-new (even with a bit of little sibling bouncing). It’s firm and supportive, which my child needs for her scoliosis, but very comfortable and she is happy with both the size and feel. We use the protective cover from Eco Kids to keep it clean and have only vacuumed upon arrival so far but will again in for seasonal cleaning.

mattress has been jumped on like a trampoline and has an adult sitting on the corner every night, and it is twice as old, half the price, and has not shown any wear like this. Very poor quality and high markup.
We’ve had the Eco Kids Mattress for several months now, and have been very happy with it. My child finds it comfortable, and I like how sturdy it is on the edges, as well as knowing that it’s allergy friendly and full of no nasties. The only point of feedback would be to receive more up-to-date communication regarding shipping and delivery from the shipping partners. The date originally flagged for delivery was changed at the last minute by the shipping provider, and if it weren’t for having relatives over, we wouldn’t have been home for the delivery on the earlier date. Otherwise a smooth process and very happy with the product.

all over it in the top layer of fabric around the stitching and loose threads everywhere. When telling the company they were very apologetic and organised for a replacement to be delivered. When the second, replacement mattress arrives it was worse than the original with even more holes. Was told by the company this is probably due to the high quality/ softnesses of the fabric and it being moved during transport. Made me wonder how it then would hold up with actual use, but they organised another replacement, this mattress was to be inspected by management before sent to us. Alas, the third mattress arrived in the same hole covered state!!! By this state we had a very broken parent from dealing with this three times, and a very upset toddler just wanting her bed so I requested a refund and purchased a mattress from a local manufacturer that has been amazing quality (kangaroo bedding). For the high price point, $719, and high reviews we expected nothing short of perfection. didn’t expect this mattress would make an impact. We just needed a new mattress and decided to try Eco Kids to make sure we were not introducing something that may make his symptoms worse. Four nights sleeping on this mattress and the struggle and noise has stopped. For years we thought his nightly struggle was positional, just a consequence of laying down combined with the “evening” air. We tried many things over the years, even buying an electric adjustable hospital bed so he could sleep with his shoulders and head elevated. Nothing helped. Over the past two nights his sleep was actually restful! The mattress and protector are the only changes we made. Can’t believe the impact.

the issue, it took weeks of me constantly contacting the company in many different ways to get a response. Then they said to get the mattress repaired I need to pay to get it professionally cleaned and pay to return it. When I told them I am not paying to return a faulty item and I would go to Fair Trading because under consumer law on the ACCC website it states: 'Businesses are responsible for paying for the shipping costs or collecting faulty products that are large, heavy or hard to remove'. I got a measly response saying we are sorry you don't agree with our terms & conditions'. I have now gone through fair trading, and they are not even responding to them!
Save yourself your money and buy a kids hypo-allergenic mattress from Ecosa or Koala for a fraction of the price.
....after writing this review, Ecokids responded privately apologising and asking for my invoice number so they can look into it. I sent my invoice 2 weeks ago and again no help or response from Ecokids!
Follow-up · Still absolutely no help! They called me and let the phone ring through 3 rings and hung up, it didn't even give me a chance to grab my phone and answer. I called back right away, someone took my message and said someone would call back, they didnt. I also left a voicemail, no one responded. At this point just give me a refund, I am so done with this company, they are a complete fraud.
Delivery took more than a month! After the stated delivery date we followed up. Told to wait 21 days. After 21 days followed up and still no mattress. After constant chasing we finally recieved the mattress after a month and abit. At least the customer service lady was nice. That's about the only good thing from this experience. Amazing! Arrived quickly after online order. No fuss. Quality excellent. Edges well supported. Adults can sit on edge without collapse. I feel confident that it's going to be great for my 3 year old for may years to come.
