DAZN continues to be extremely problematic/annoying/unusable. I use Google as my search engine and Chrome as my browser. Today DAZN tells me "Update your browser Looks like you’re using an old version of a web browser. You’ll need to update it to watch DAZN." It fails to mention that even after I have clicked "Update Now" several times and have attempted to update over the previous update (1 minute earlier) several times, I am still getting that message. DAZN I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY SUBSCRIPTION. I used 'Game Pass' until (annoying) DAZN took over and it has been issue after issue. No more, I'm done with them,
I signed up to DAZN because it included NFL Game pass. After the season started, I had to pay an additional subscription if I wanted to watch NFL. False advertising. Do not sign up.
Be warned about their cancellation policy. Unlike other streaming platforms, DAZN requires 30 days notice and you get charged pro rata for the number of days between the auto renewal date and 30 days from the date you cancelled. So if you sign up just to watch a specific event like the Club World Cup as I did, you need to cancel your subscription on the day you subscribe to avoid paying for more than one month. This cost me $25 and I don’t want others to fall into the same trap.
Follow-up · I found out about the 30-day cancellation notice period when I was charged after I’d cancelled. I queried the charge with customer service and they explained that was part of their terms and conditions. It was probably outlined somewhere when I subscribed and I didn’t notice. I feel that unusual conditions like this should be highlighted and suspect that DAZN are taking advantage of the assumption most people will make that they can cancel any time before the auto renewal date with no extra cost.
