Replacement for much larger Maestosa (which gave over 5 years and over 5000 coffees). Much smaller. Has two been hoppers so I can have caffeinated and decaf. Auto bean grind adjust. Clearish water container and been hoppers allow me to see when things need refilling rather than be informed by machine. Performance, for the range of coffees I make… Read more
is better than the Maestosa it replaced! Quite petite, doesn’t leak water into grounds drawer. Creamer/milk jug very good, easy to clean (cleaning cycle on machine.) Really happy with purchase.
It makes great coffee; froths the milk amazingly well for an all-in-one machine... but it keeps coming up with error messages asking to empty the grounds container, or check the side door is shut even though the grounds container is empty or has only a little bit of disgarded grounds in it. You then have to pull the tray in and out so the machine… Read more
thinks you have done it again because it clears the message and allows you to continue making your coffee. It's as though the sensors don't work well or they are over sensitive or something. A quick search on the internet and you'll see that it's not an uncommon issue. So not sure how I feel about it - I purchased it on Amazon Australia and I have returned mine and willing to buy another one... just wondering what would happen once the 2-year warranty runs out and the machine becomes unusable because the senor won't allow the message to be cleared. The machine is around AUD1300 - it's up there as far as the price for a fully automatic machine goes. It has been doing this since a few weeks after purchase. We purchased this machine in November 2025, and just for the record, my wife and I have one coffee each per day in the morning - aside from that, I could count on two hands the "additional" number of coffees we've made for friends/family and the like. That is as much as it gets used. So it's not as though we thrash it. All in all, we're super happy with the machine, yet super disappointed.
Delonghi Rivelia automatic coffee machine, my worst ever coffee maker by far. If you buy this coffee machine you will live to regret it It's given me torment since day 1. It constantly grinds beans only to dump them in its bin in a damp condition without making any coffee, Beans are to expensive to just waste. It on occasion fills the cup with… Read more
frothed milk with out any coffee, or makes to much milk over flowing everywhere, You never know what it will do day to day. When it decides it needs a de-scale it won't make any coffee until you've done it, there's no prier warning, so if you were for instance in the middle of entertaining everyone just has to wait the 30 minutes it takes to de-scale before you can offer them a drink. The water storage is way to small it always needs topping up. Apart from all that the coffee does taste nice. Would I buy it again am I satisfied ? No, there are so many better machines on the market.

My Revelia screen broke after 9 months which you wouldn't expect from whats sold as a premium product. The warranty process with Deloghni was/is horrendous. 3 months after taking it in for a fix I still don't have my Rivelia back and no one from delonghi seems to know how to resolve. No refund, no new unit, just mine sitting in some repair shop with no resolution. Id never recommend this unit or Deloghni to anyone Show details

After only 4 months of owning the Delonghi Rivelia, it now doesn't go full cycle when making a cappuccino and latte macchiato. My machine will froth & pour the milk but instead of moving to the next step of brewing & pouring the coffee, it instead says it needs to cool down & then goes back to the start menu after throwing the untamped grinds into… Read more
the waste bin. This occurs several times a week or so as we make 3-4 coffees a day & not all the time & you never know when it will occur. It creates a lot of anxiety as to whether it will make a coffee or not. When it did manage to make a coffee, it wasn't too bad although I have tasted better from the Breville Barista machines. When trying to make a cappuccino though, if it does get past the step of brewing coffee, it wont tamp the coffee and instead of hearing the "bomp" sound indicating that it is tamping, it just makes a "clicking" sound. The resulting "puk" is broken into pieces in the bin tray & there is some water in there as well. The coffee tastes quite bitter too. I have lost about $50 aud in coffee due to this issue. My wife reckons it is more than that though. I also really looked after & cleaned the bin after each use. I cleaned the milk carafe & parts at least every few days & I clean the brew group 1-2x a week. I have since returned the machine back to TVSN where I purchased the machine from online with a view to a full refund. I can not recommend the Delonghi Rivelia. My next machine will likely be a Breville Barista Pro. I really hope I never see the Delonghi Rivelia again & if I can not obtain a full refund, I will have no choice than to refer the matter to consumer affairs. The Delonghi rivelia was an awful, troubling & wasteful machine to own & use. I do have a 4 minute video showing the machine not working & tamping correctly but it wont upload to the product review site. The problems with the machine started about 2 months or so ago & I have contacted Delonghi Customer service on 3 separate occasions asking for help & on the first call, I was told NOT to use skim milk & to ONLY use full cream milk & that really upset my wife because full cream milk doesn't agree with her & even though I did try this, it did not fix the issues with the machine. Also that would mean that the machine is not "fit for purpose" because we needed it to also use the skim milk & there is no where in the marketing materials to say only to use full cream milk. It's an awful machine. On the second call that I made to Delonghi Customer Service about 10 days ago, the representative said she would send me out some more beans however this has not happend. TVSN should have my machine now though because I sent it back to them last Monday 15th September 2025 with a tracking number which I have also uploaded a screen shot of to this review site. I've had so many sleepless nights over this machine & the money I have wasted on it as well as a very upset wife. Thankfully 2 or so weeks ago, (it is now 6th October 2025), TVSN did return my money so that is very much appreciated. Delonghi have still not sent me any replacement beans but that doesn't matter. I have since replaced the faulty Delonghi Rivelia with a new Breville Barista Pro & I'm happy with the results.

Good but not amazing – The coffee machine is good, makes good coffee, and has an overall good build, but it’s not amazing. The Maestosa is a far, far better machine overall and better value for money in my opinion. The coffee out of the Rivelia is fine, sometimes a little bitter and burnt. The default temperature setting burns the coffee and the granularity is wrong,… Read more
so highly recommend reviewing those settings for yourself. One (silly) thing I cannot stand about this machine is the attempt at giving it a personality. The “cutesy” messaging is passive-aggressive and condescending. It drives me absolutely crazy. It does not need personality; it’s a coffee machine.
Delonghi has work to do – I have given this wonderful automatic coffee machine 4 stars even though there are significant problems which I argue could be easily fixed. This machine is efficient, easy to operate, clean and maintain. It is a first rate coffee machine. The online video instructions are helpful during set up and useful during the first descaling ritual. … Read more
However, as we live in an era where corporations aim to market products which force customers to return to purchase accessories, means associated problems are inevitable. 4 stars is generous because although the technology is first rate and the ability to change coffee beans is an absolutely wonderful overdue innovation, it does not fully compensate for the problems. Not with the machine itself but with Delonghi customer service and the cost of ordering small essential parts online.
It is disappointing when a retail price is dropped significantly after purchasing an expensive small appliance, as happened to me and worse, the Delonghi website is frustrating to navigate and its customer service section is located offshore.
Delonghi has nailed the milk frothing component however, there is one fault in need of correction. The plastic milk suction tube (pity it cannot be a soft, safe metal) needs to be replaced regularly and ordering it online is not easy or obvious. I have not been able to purchase a narrow enough tube brush cleaner which should come with the machine, as if this component could be cleaned at the same time as the milk carafe compounets, the suction tube might last longer.
In the scheme of things, it is tolerable because the machine is brilliant and I hope this honest appraisal does not put anyone off from purchasing this truly marvelous kitchen wonder.
Rivelia Overpriced Automatic coffee machine – Coffee tastes bitter tried all the suggestions that the machine software offers, Overpriced Automatic coffee machine, water container too small, Customer support dreadful, they arrange a Zoom meeting and fail to make contact on the day and time of the arranged appointment, no follow up, just buy and forget you, would rather their base machine ESAM6600 for a better coffee taste. than spending $1599 from than already reduced price of $1799!!!!
