This company is a scam. Do not order. I ordered the product and it was never received, they could never produce a shipping confirmation and they would not refund the purchase. But their customer service has plenty of delays and excuses.
Used it first time on max, tried a section that still had stubble to see if it would burn the hair, nope it did not, flashed and worked but I didn’t smell burnt hair so this product didn’t work and won’t work cos it’s not doing what it’s suppose to, was an expensive scam, it’s getting harder to know a scam which is annoying! I ordered this product online and had nothing but the runaround for 2 months. No product was even dispatched until I reported them to scam watch and my bank. The product was then given a shipping number and dispatched from the usual untraceable means that day. DO NOT BUY from DERMAO!! Show details

UNITED STATES. It would have a $14 restocking fee deduced. I asked why I had to pay a restocking fee for a unit that is broken? They could only quote their policy. After some heated email exchanges, I sent the tracking information to them. Of course it would be returned to me 2 months later. I should've known it was a false address. Please do not fall into the trap of giving these scammers your money. They have policys that give the customer no protection, its a complete have. Without the unit returned I would only get 60% of the full amount returned, again reverting back to policy. STAY CLEAR AND LET YOU HAIR GROW AND YOU'RE BANK BALANCE. It still has not been resolved. I have the package back and have now requested a refund of the 60%.
This is a fake dodgy product with fake reviews on their website. hair and bought this only because they advertised that it works on all hair colours. I was to late to get a refund as it sat there for a few months, although I noted on the other reviews it is hard to get a refund anyway. The email when the order received was all in German as well. I did put in a complaint and asked why they advertised a different looking IPL to what is received and false advertising about working on all hair colours but the response was:

COMPLETE SCAM! Down to the review website that linked the product. Ended up negotiating a 50% refund and got to keep the cheap knock off product. Still haven’t bothered opening it. Show details
Follow-up · The negotiation was fine I told them I was onto them and what they were trying to do and the fact they had different addresses on everything. They were very responsive but no acknowledgement of the fact I was sent a knock off they just went straight into offering a partial refund which must be their whole angle. Haven’t opened it cause peoples reviews of it was that it didn’t work or it worked for a couple of weeks then broke.

I don’t usually write reviews but thought that people should be aware of how rubbish the Dermao is. I tried this device over and over and over again in multiple areas for months, as did my daughter, but it did absolutely nothing. Very disappointing.
I wish there were negative stars. This company is a scam! They take your money and you don’t get your product! It doesn’t matter how many emails you send they don’t care. Not a legit company
I also paid $199 for a fake product. No brand name, no instructions, feels like a toy. Doesn’t do anything yet there are so many fake reviews stating it’s the best IPL. Don’t waste your money. Save a buy one in store from a reputable retailer! Show details
DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Doesn't even turn on, purchased, did not work tried to return, address given cost me another $45.00 to send it back to an address in the States, after 3 mths it was returned as unable to send-return to sender. Avoid. They only provide 90 days warranty and refuse to obey Australian Consumer Law. Going with their customer support in circles about the stupid adapter that stopped working. There must be some greedy cheap [Content Removed] behind this company.

I'm very disappointed with the repeated stock standard email reply from the company and their service is misrepresented in their details. I finally received confirmation on the cancellation of my order a few days after this review was placed. In the email, there is no mention of a refund and the company is again not replying to my requests. So they cancel but apparently do not refund.
