I am sure this product is great. The only silly reason I don't buy it is because of the container s colours. If it came in just white with lime green writing. . Eye catching and I'd buy it:)

I buy Bam spray often with my shopping and I find it really works however I am sick of the spray nozzles breaking whilst still half full.I am going to try a different product next shopping as I can't afford to keep buying Ban when I can't use the full bottles or can.So at present I have 2 Bam spray bottles that are half full with the nozzles broken and can of Ban that does not spray properly total waste of money. Show details

I use to use Bam many years ago and though I would give it another go but I'm so disappointed with the stuff. The manufacturer has now updated its labels this Expert, professional and probably more. But sorry the stuff is rubbish and I definitely won't be buying it again. It's absolutely got me when it's not broke don't fix, so why is it now rubbish? This is the trouble today Bam is not the only one to change to the worst.. Show details

Won’t buy again – 2 stars because it did something - it left patches all over my tiles. It doesn’t spray properly so therefore you have to manually spread it which defeats the purpose for buying & makes the directions incorrect. Show details

New formula doesn't work – I used to buy Easy off Bam all the time for years because it could easily remove soap scum. Now they have removed the key ingredient sulfamic acid and it's not good any more. You need much more time and effort even for minor stains. Pic shows the old formula. Show details

Bam trigger – I have used Bam for years in my shower recess and find it very effective. However, the trigger feels most uncomfortable to use. I strongly suggest that the trigger configuration is made a little broader - the same as the Windex trigger. Show details

this product is serving me well – The new change with the packaging has made it easy to use. The formula had changed it as well. I didn't noticed any changes and the place I use it with is squeaky clean.

Do not buy – Followed the directions on the bottle. Now have blotchy stains on my shower tiles and it appears to have etched my $2k glass shower screen. There are warnings on the bottle, none were applicable to my shower.  Show details

Trigger spray useless – The trigger spray does not have a spray at all - only a direct narrow hit. Hence useless to clean shower screens or shower recesses unless you are prepared to then spend time spreading it all out. Would not buy again. Surprised how the pump spray nozzle got past quality control. Show details

It use to be good – Our cleaning business has used this for 10 years cleaning over 5000 showers with ease. The new bottle is a major fail, it's not removing hardened soap scum at all.... USELESS!!!!

Beware: this will destroy your bathroom vanity – This product single handedly destroyed my once beautiful marble vanity. It's completely ruined as the product ate away the gloss and left murky white stains all over it. Professional advice was to remove the vanity and replace it completely as there's no way to reverse the damage. This product needs to be banned immediately. Show details

Loving the new perfume – I have used this product for years cleaning our bathrooms regularly and have been fully satisfied. I am loving the new perfume as previously it had a very chemical smell which was sometimes overpowering.

Easy off Ha Ha – Anything but easy off You have to scrub and scrub then scrub some more even then it leaves the stubborn scum. I ended up using a plastic scouring pad and cream cleanser to remove the last bits. Dam glad I bought this product whilst on special.

Easy-off Bam new formula – What on earth happened to this product? It used to be fantastic to use when cleaning the bathroom but now there is a new formula that just fails to deliver any satisfactory results. What is first most noticeable is that it smells different, it now smells like children's no sugar toothpaste or a weak bubblegum smell, secondly the soap scum remained… Read more

after spraying and light scrubbing. You now need to scrub very hard for this to work. I am so disappointed in the new formula and won't be wasting my money on this new formula while it remains.

Best product I’ve used – I find bam foam awesome. It’s quick, and because it’s a foam doesn’t spray everywhere. I give my wet shower screens 2 sprays spread and clean with a squeegee sponge then blade off. Simple. So upset that reject shop doesn’t sell it anymore for $2.

Awful product – This product left layers of white scum on the shower tiles and the glass shower doors are now cloudy and stained. Do not buy this product! It's hard to be objective when your shower cubicle looks ruined!

Sprays foam. Thats it! – Used two bottles of the foam on my shower. Used as directed. Cleaned the glass but no difference at all to tiles and grout. I would not recommend this product nor use it again.

Dreadful stuff – This product is a shocker. The sprayer is very hard to use as you need strong fingers to hold the button down. It doesn't spary a wide area as advertised, but a narrow squirt. I used almost a full can just to cover my shower recess. Will never buy it again.

Easy-Off Bam Grime & SoAp Scum – It is frustrating that it just open up and the nozzle keeps leaking. I will never recommend this to anyone. What a waste of money. And there is no simple instruction on how to open the nozzle. Extremely annoying and frustrating.

Reckitt Benckiser - please pay for the damage your product did! – I used "Easy off Bam" bathroom in accordance with the instructions to spot test first on the tiles in the bathrooms of my rental apartment. No problem on the spot test so proceeded to spray it in both shower recesses - BIG MISTAKE. The product has left bleach like stains where it was sprayed. Quotations to have it repaired have been up to… Read more

$2000.00!

I complained to RBs "[name removed]" who told me that the spot test means nothing as it is unreliable!!! They told me the tiles were marble so too bad that the product ruined them, as if I should know better. I rent the house and don't know what materials things are made of, that's why I relied on the product label instructions to spot test first. But according to the RB, that label is false anyway!

RB - please pay for the damage your product has done to the bathrooms!!!

In alignment with other reviews here aside from being a noxious smelling, dangerous product, it also did not work on glass shower screens to remove soap scum. Utterly disgusted and I don't want to be out of pocket because of this terrible product and customer service from RB.

Ineffective on cloudy shower glass screens - So I suggest cheap/easier product that worked instead ( – Sunshine Coast, Australia. I have a new home (3 years old) and have six bathrooms, all with glass screens, which get cloudy and I just hate cleaning. I have all glass, porcelain and ceramic so OK to use easy off bam (do NOT Bam or Vinegr/lemon etc use on porous surfaces i.e. marble, limestone, highly glazed/pottery and so on - test first if in… Read more

doubt!).

I tried easy off bam right from the first clean, specifically to clean the cloudy shower screens. My experience:

PROS

Cleans around the taps, sinks and counters quite well.

CONS

Toxic! Toxic! Toxic! (I am not a greenie and if product works then I can deal with toxicity - but bam doesn't work).

Not overly cheap. Can buy in bulk from costco and BigW but I use a whole can in one shower and it adds up.

Some of the cans/nozzles didn't function/spray well and I ended up chucking them out and wasting nearly the whole can.

Did not clean the shower screens very well. After scrubbing product into glass (just spraying on and leaving did nothing at all) with non scratch pads it came up OK - say 5/10.

Did not remove mould or mildew (I thought it would but it just didn't - I had to use domestos as well as the bam if there was mould/mildew). Created more intense and unbearable fumes.

Terrible, unpleasant odour in general, stronger fumes build up if shower/bathroom doors closed.

Have to have special outfit and cleaning towels/mats to ensure that easy off bam goes on them only, ruins them only (has a bleach effect i.e. whitens in areas), and even special thongs as it seems to degrade rubber also.

Worried after clean that residue will get on bath mats and towels and clothing and ruin them (which it has done several times).

Product highly toxic and I cringe when having to use it because I know I will have to "scrub" down after in an industrial shower to remove the "bam" feeling, and then I still feel tainted all over by the product.

Have used on kitchen items to remove "grime" and have had Ok, but not amazing results. At least when bam was in kitchen sink it was easier to contain and clean up after.

SUGGESTION

On the internet they suggested:

1 cup vinegar

1 cup hot water (I used boiling hot water)

1 tablespoon dawn (I use morning fresh d/wash liquid)

So - I tried this, and guess what!!!!

It worked!! The screen was almost all clean i.e. 9/10. Will give another go today and get the residual cloudy stuff removed. I was still wet and a messy (as I am a sloppy cleaner) but not toxic, not feeling like my skin was being eaten away or my lungs were being damaged. There was a vinegar fume smell at one point but I found that quite OK - I love vinegar and fish and chips and knowing it wasn't dangerous I had no problem with it. I have tried vinegar and water before and it actually did nothing - the boiling water and the d/wash liquid seemed to make the difference. The d/w liquid seemed to give the vinegar and water something to cling to and then made nice soapy cleaning streaks on the glass as you applied so you could see where the product was and wasn't. Honestly - I don't use natural stuff as it never works for me, this seriously did. Thank you internet - you have come up with a solution again.

Best I've had – Over the years, I have bought Selleys, and other expensive tile "cleaners."Easy off Bam was the best of all! I sprayed the tiles first, them spread a good coating of EOB, waited about 10 minutes, then used a scrubber. The tiles are lovely and white and shiny! Glass door great too. Don't know what the nay sayers did?

HORRIBLE, left speachless – Got this stuff at Woolies, thinking I will give it a go and clean the shower properly this time. Before I started: the tiles were dark green and shiny in general, with spots of water/soap stains, and the shower glass was mat from the water/soap stains (used to be clear). Sprayed BAM on. Almost got a heart attack when I rinsed/dried the… Read more

stuff off. The shine from the tiles was totally gone and they turned kind of white, as if they were totally worn out. The glass was even smudgier than before.

I used to be so proud of my bathroom, now it was kind of destroyed with this product!!! Ugly, ugly, ugly. That is all I can say. Looked on the internet re product review and was terrified as the comments confirmed my reality.

But since I do not give up easily and as I could not believe, that my beautiful tiles were gone I persisted and tried all possible old home remedies. Vinegar, soda bicarb, bleach, toothpaste, Jiff, nothing brought the shine and the colour back. WD40 had some success of bringing the colour back but still no proper shine.

The last resource I tried was the Cooktop Magic (comes in a tube - I think I have got it from Woolies but suppose any cleaner for cook tops will do that cleans ceramic glass, enamel, stainless steel). It took a lot of scrubbing with a sponge stuff that comes with the tube, more scrubbing and even more scrubbing to get each tile shiny again and back to the old dark green colour. Phew, did not actually destroy the tiles, it just took a lot of scrubbing to get the BAM scum off and fix the damage!!!

Now to the shower glass: BAM did absolutely nothing, absolutely nothing on the water stains!!! The Cooktop Magic worked on this one again, my lucky day, a lot of scrubbing and more scrubbing!!!

BAM is definitely a scum, will take this BAM back to Woolies, demand my money back and request that the product be taken off the shelf. Will also print out these reviews from other people, so they will realise they are selling scum. Shame on BAM manufacturer for ripping people off with false advertising text on the product!!!

Have also checked out youtube ads. False False False!!! That is all I can say. Would give this product a MINUS ten star if I could!!! Stay away from it.
