Eiderdown 90% Hungarian Goose Down Winter Weight Quilt Queen

Winter quilt (queen) - plus extra fill. *Written 12 mths ago* I purchased this quilt as a replacement for my 35-40 year-old 85% Duck down quilt, as I was finding that - for the colder, mid-winter nights - I needed extra warmth, and preferred not to have to use an extra blanket. Because 2 or 3 reviewers mentioned that their quilts were not as warm as anticipated, I decided to circumvent that problem, by having mine custom-made, with the 200gr extra fill. As the colder nights have now past, I will not know just how effective my new quilt will be; the loft seems similar to my previous quilt, and is certainly very cosy for the current nights. The extra 5% down - combined with the fact that it is goose down - should make a noticeable difference. Communication was exceptional, and the quilt was delivered 3 days after ordering. (to Melbourne) I have given 4 stars, pending my experience next winter. This may seem petty, but the extra warmth was the only reason for the purchase.

Having slept under this beautifully warm quilt for 12 months - including a few nights of 0% - (see my comment above) - I can now say that this quilt has lived up to expectations. I no longer need an extra blanket, and am more than happy with this purchase. N.B. I do also use an electric blanket
