The design, quality and functionality of the stainless steel pots, pans and skillets are excellent. The products are on the heavy side due to the amount of stainless steel and aluminium in their construction. This makes them incredibly strong and robust. Of course the stainless steel handles will get hot after exposure to heat. Such is the nature… Read more
of stainless steel and aluminium. The simple solution is to use kitchen towels. Whilst these products are not cheap their longevity is assured. Highly recommended.
Essteele per sempre – So disappointed with my skillet pan from Essteele. Spent 109$ on something I thought is quality but all the food gets stuck in the pan. Essteele is not wanting to provide me a refund, simply saying there’s nothing faulty with it and perhaps not cook chicken or pancakes in the skillet . I suppose I can use the skillet for sauce only which really defeats the purpose. Shame on you Essteele. Have bought better quality from Aldi . Show details
Not metal utensil friendly – Bought this 26 cm skillet for basic small steaks and salmon scratched when a stainless steel spoon was used within one week. Really disappointed. Contacted costumer service and they offered a 25% discount on the next purchase. This was not good enough for me as it was very expensive to buy anyway.

NOT Dishwasher Safe !!! – The aluminum core erodes along the top rim - leaving two knife like sharp edges of the inner and outer stainless steel cladding. These can cut your skin !!! Show details
We’ll never use non-stick again – I grew tired of having to purchase new non-stick cookware every five years, and decided to go the full stainless route; and of course, I not only wanted to go full stainless, I wanted the BEST full stainless. “Oh, that’s Essteele Per Sempre”, our sales assistant at David Jones told us. As luck would have it, there was a homewares sale on, and we… Read more
walked-away with a whole set of new saucepans for a considerable discount. The same day I bought a sauté pan from the Esteele website for a $250 discount on full retail (!), including postage.
If you’re used to cooking with non-stick, there will be an adjustment period when you go stainless, because stainless performs differently, and you’ll have to adapt. The Per Sempre range heats-up very quickly and gets very hot indeed. Once the adjustment period is over, they’ll be the best things you’ve ever used and, unlike non-stick, you can put them in the dishwasher with confidence.
Yes, the handles of the lids do get hot, and that’s an adjustment too, but this is a minor inconvenience to which you will soon adapt. Essteele Per Sempre is the V12 Lamborghini of cookware, and just like a Lambo it has idiosyncrasies to which one must yield, but it performs so well, looks so good, and feels so weighty and serious, that it you forget its foibles.
My partner and I are Essteele Per Sempre converts, and glad of it. We’ll never go back to non-stick.
Lid handles too hot to touch after boiling water in saucepan – Looks nice out of the box and the fully clad concept seems to make sense. Seems to cook as well as other european made cookware. We have previously had sets of French and German brands that lasted approx 15 years each (both non stick, not stainless). One saucepan of the Essteele set seems to have minor impurities (pinprick size colouration) in… Read more
the stainless steel interior bottom surface, other two perfectly ok. The major problem with Essteele per sempre is that the lid handle gets too hot to touch, requiring an oven mitt to remove the lid. Handle hot to the level its a safety issue. Very inconvenient. This is not expected nor acceptable in premium cookware. Some mild interior discolouration not that big an issue, but the hot lid handle is a show stopper and makes this cookware unfit for purpose. Rather disappointed.
Excellent, but – I bought 2 of their smaller pots. very good performer, heavily weighted but a couple of drawbacks. the lip is very small so when pouring, so drips do go down the side. the lid can also rattle around a little when cooking as its metal on metal. but they are beautifully made and I would certainly buy their products again. Great product. 5 star service – Saucepans are great. The handles dont get hot. And the stainless steel cleaner keeps them shiny. Most importantly is the amazing service that Esteele provides. So important if there are any issues. Can’t recommend enough. Show details
Not 100% sure! – I just unpacked a 20 saucepan. Was so excited as the reviews were so good, but got disappointed as the lid handle got so hot, so that i had to use something and therefore it's a bit of a hassle!! Other than that my food cooked nicely. And thank goodness the lid is heavy enough to keep the steam in!! Show details
Good quality and durability so far – These saucepans are really good. They're obviously not made in China quality. The steel is easier to clean than poor quality steel, heats evenly and the long side handles don't burn your hands to touch like they do on cheaper saucepans. The steel has a very smooth feel to it. Lids are a bit light and when I cook rice in the small saucepan some… Read more
liquid does leak out (only rice though - nothing else does) but overall would strongly recommend and I hope that they last for many years to come. Considering what takeaway meals add up to they are well worth the money if you can afford them. I'm glad I bought them when I did. With the government using the covid crisis as an opportunity to discriminate against disabled people by making us and elderly pensioners the only ones not to get the covid supplement, I would not be able to afford them.
Beautiful and Functional – I recently bought the 26cm skillet as Myer were heavily discounting them and I thought it would be nice to treat myself to at least one piece of Italian made cookware. Out of the box, the first thing that struck me was how beautiful the pan was, with a satin starburst pattern inside and out. Nice engraving on the bottom. If you like displaying… Read more
your pans, this is definitely one to hang in the pool room. Being fully clad, the pan is pretty heavy for its size, but it's a reassuring heft. I have a gas stove, but the pan sat flat on my stone bench without any wobbles, so it should be fine for electric cooktops.
I decided to christen my pan with a hamburger and an egg. It took awhile to heat up, which is expected given the thickness of the material. The hamburger seared with a satisfying sizzle and was nicely browned on the outside with a crispy crust. I then cracked an egg into the hamburger fat and let it cook for a minute or two. It released from the pan pretty easily and I was able to flip it. No it's not as non-stick as teflon or seasoned cast iron, but I was very happy with the way the pan released the food. I think the key to cooking eggs in stainless pans is to ensure the pan is hot and oiled and to not move them immediately, allowing the pan to let go when it is ready. The handle stayed cool throughout the whole cooking process.
To clean up, I let the pan cool a bit for a minute then added hot water and a few drops of detergent and let it soak while I ate my hamburger (delicious btw). The residue then came off very easily and the pan cleaned up well. There was a bit of white residue left on the pan which I suspect is calcium from the meat juices. You can get rid of it by wiping with a weak acid like vinegar. It didn't worry me, so I didn't bother. Do not use steel scourers or harsh abrasives on the pan if you want to preserve that pretty starburst finish.
Have I told you how beautiful this pan is? I don't bother putting it away and leave it sitting on my stove. I think having a stainless steel skillet casually lying about gives you quite a bit of street cred as a cook.
Nice Customer Service – We recently bought Esteele Per Sempre pans. We bought the 30 cm skillet and two saucepans. They all are good working and heat up fastly i want to thank customer service. Show details
Brilliant Customer Service – I made an inquiry to Essteele customer service regarding replacement handles for some old Classic saucepans, 20+ years old. As the handles are no longer available Essteele customer service representative Lorraine kindly offered a $375 voucher to help replace my old set. What brilliant and unexpected service. Sad to see the old ones go to waste but… Read more
looking forward to a nice new set of per Sempre. Quality does remain long after the price is forgotten.

Great pots, hope they last a long time – Love these pots because they are easier to clean than lower quality brands of stainless steel and the side handles don't get as hot as some other brands, without the silicone. They will also work well on induction stoves (I rent, so who knows where I will end up next) whereas the per vita ones will not (copper is not magnetic, so any heat would… Read more
have to skip over the copper to get to the rest of the pot to cook the food). I still need a pot holder for the lid handles, but there is not a single brand for which that is not true, unless of course they are covered in silicone. Have read some slightly disturbing reviews about a lot of people's handles coming off after 10 years but hopefully that doesn't happen to me. I would recommend however that you don't make my mistake and get the smaller stockpot - get the larger one. The smaller one is too small for most types of stock.
Excellent product and back up service – We recently bought 3 Esteele Per Sempre pans. We bought the 30 cm skillet and two saucepans. They all perform well. They heat up fast and consistently. The skillet had a slight warp in it and was replaced under warranty with minimum hassle. Look out for when they are on special as they are sometimes 40% reduced.
