Washes and dries like a dream – Perfect main dishwasher - black glass finish looks great and is easy to clean and wipe down. The cutlery drawer fits all forks and knifes in perfectly, the top basket has 3 height levels to fit what you need and the fan dries well at the end of the cycle.

DON'T BUY, WON'T LAST much longer than warranty – So, disappointed with this product. Purchased in October 21, same as the previous 1 start reviewer, and in December 23 on CHRISTMAS DAY eeek it decided to just not work. The water seems to have stopped coming through to the machine, in the morning it worked then it just did not. Due to Christmas break I was not able to lodge a service call until after the 3rd, then being away for 2 weeks I could not follow up on having someone come out until now.

I had completed due diligence on all reviews which looked amazing and decided to spend alot more money on this product than I wanted to in order to purchase something that would last. At the time an additional 3 year warranty was offered which gave me added comfort to spend the additional money. However, now I think I was supposed to lodge something on the website to claim the 3 year warranty which I was not made aware of at the time. Therefore, Dimplex is now not honoring a free service call.

So disappointing, to break down just 2 months after warranty period. As they say, made to last warranty these days.

Purchased in for $836.

In the matter of interest, I would like to add the Euromaid team has honoured a visit to us despite the product being out of warranty. Once this review was put up they gave me a call basically straight away. Appreciate the service and attending to our issue.

But, then the same issue less than 6 months later! Did try to source a response privately but I did not get one.

After discussing with Euromaid they have declined to offer another warranty visit. Will not be going for Euromaid again. The product was supposed to have a 5 year warranty but I unknowingly did not activate it so they will not honor it. The replaced part only lasted 6 months. Terrible.

Avoid - product lasted barely 2 years – Bought this machine in October 2021. From early on the plastic connector from the base which supplies water to the top rack & cutlery rack would often pop out, meaning you had to check each time that it was clicked in or the top wouldn't get washed properly. A minor inconvenience but one to be aware of. Major issue was in December 2023 where it displayed the E2 error and the machine won't work. It was 2 months out of warranty according to the manufacturer and were unwilling to assist under Australian Consumer Law obligations. A reasonable consumer would not expect to be buying $750 dishwashers every two years. Would not recommend.

Purchased in at Appliances Online for $759.

Hi Liam, I'm sorry to hear the machine won't work. The E2 error refers to the a longer or extended drain time. Generally because the drain pipe may be placed in too high, kinked/crushed or extended beyond its original length. If this is not the case you may require a technician to take a look. I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thanks

Just in the interest of fairness: Euromaid has since reached out and will send a technician to evaluate free of charge. The drain pipe had worked fine for two years so it's not the height; the hose was not kinked/crushed as it was checked and also hasn't moved in 2 years; and the machine was validated as draining quickly and freely by manually filling the base of the machine and draining into a bucket instead of the pipe. Again, full fairness and disclosure, Euromaid has made contact following the above review.

Euromaid Black EDWB16G – Compared to various other dishwashers we used in the past... *Easy to install *Easy to use hidden panel in the door (toddlers cannot play with the selections) *No excessive electronic light up buttons which often stop working or wear off over time & cost heaps to replace & repair * It has 30 & 58 minute mini & quick cycle choice to save time & water for smaller loads *Panel info shows you the water temperature for each cycle which is useful for delicate items or washing pots & pans *Wide handle bar on the door *Choice of using either the cutlery caddy or top pull out cutlery tray or if you have lots of cutlery and utensils like thongs serving spoons etc you could use both the removable cutlery insert and the top cutlery tray (not all dishwashers provide this choice) * Also has an extra caddy for sharp steak knives *Cutlery insert caddies can be placed anywhere over the bottom drawer which allows you to adjust items (most dishwashers have only the one spot where the cutlery caddy sits) *Top drawer can be adjusted to accommodate taller items *The front black panel always looks shiny *Always check the water spinner prior to starting the cycle to ensure it isn't knocking against any plates *No loud sounds; (other dishwashers we used were noisy)

Works as a dishwasher should – Presentation: Lovely minimalistic look, gloss black front looks like glass, with a handle that goes across 84% of the width (yes, I measured it). Three indicator LEDs which indicate what stage of the cycle it's at. And that's it. Oh, and there is writing next to the LEDs to explain what they represent, but you can't read it without a torch; I suggest it wouldn't have been too difficult to use the lit LEDs to backlight the writing too. The controls and timer are on the top edge of the door and disappear when said door is closed. Seems a bit pointless having a timer you can't see when it's running. Operation: Switch on is from the large button on the top edge of the door, but is a hefty press and has to be in the right place/direction - it usually takes multiple attempts to get it to activate. Programme selection is by similar but smaller buttons. Starting the cycle is by means of shutting the door. Programmes: It has all the usual programmes that most dishwashers have, most of which are too long and don't wash properly as the water temperature is too low (this is a generalisation not specifically aimed at this dishwasher). My experience is that you can wash shorter cycles at higher temperatures and get better results. Ideally for me, a one hour cycle at 70 degrees C is appropriate. This dishwasher has a one hour cycle at 60 degrees, or a 2 hour at 70 degrees. I have used both, which have achieved excellent results. Stacking: Swallows huge amounts of cutlery, plates, cups etc. and is very versatile. The cutlery tray at the top covers the whole width of the unit, saving room elsewhere for other things. It has so much room, I only need to run it once or twice a week. Conclusion: I am satisfied with this dishwasher. It is very quiet during operation and cleans as well as could be expected. I can't comment on reliability as I have only had it for 3 months, but so far, so good. It has replaced a 5 year old Beko dishwasher which developed a fault which I considered would not be cost-effective to repair (probably needed a new touchpad and mainboard). So far, I would definitely recommend this dishwasher. I will update if/when anything untoward happens, and also if it remains reliable for an extended period.

UPDATE: After nearly two years of use now, I can say this is a fabulous dishwasher. It cleans beautifully and hasn't missed a beat. I always use it on P4+F2. My only two (minor) criticisms are the on/off button, which is quite unresponsive, and the rinse aid tank, which is (in my opinion) too small and requires refilling after every 4 or 5 washes; it really should last longer than that between fills. In the absence of any problems, I would really recommend this dishwasher.
