Sadly I'm forced to give this deadly product even one star, or else I would give it a minus 5. Gave to both my dogs, both had facial and leg swelling almost immediately. Both dogs had trouble eating and breathing. This is supposed to be a trusted brand, but I wouldn't spit on it. DO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUR BELOVED PETS Show details

Don't buy - keep your pet alive – Don't buy - Keep your pet alive! When I gave this product for the first time - my dog felt sick and kept vomiting, but recovered the day after. A few months after I gave the same product again( I wasn't sure that this product made my pet unwell ) my dog was very badly sick, too weak , refusing to eat and drink for three nights in a row. Took her… Read more

Don't buy - protect your pet!!!! – Gave my 7kg Maltese X Shitzu one of these pink chews cut in halves yesterday at 4pm. By 6pm she had vomited the whole amount in a big bright pink pool on the carpet. Gave her dinner as usual, took her out, back legs wobbly, another vomit - all her dinner and heart meds. Dog still unwell today, I hope she recovers and doesn't need the vet. Not happy. Never use. Should have read these reviews before buying. Show details

Works Great!!! – I have never had any problems with this product. I have been using it for 6years and works amazing for my dog and always has. My dog copes wonderfully with them . Once i give her the chews, i give her a drink to wash it down and she still copes perfectly even when it's cleaning out her system and she's getting around with no worries. Thankyou for a wonderful product  Show details

Can't get it – I used to purchase this product very easily at Woolworths and now can't get it anywhere. It's also annoying how the price increased so much. I thought it worked well for my dogs. Show details

Dangerous Product!! Exelpet Dog Wormer Chews – Dangerous Product... I gave my healthy male Staffy Exelpet 2 dog wormer chews the end of July 2017. This is the first time I have ever used this product. Within minutes of giving him the chews he started trying to throw the chews up with our success. He was sick all night. The next day and subsequent days He had severe diarreah, was throwing… Read more

Exelpet the likely culprit to an horrendous episode that has almost killed my dog – Within hours of giving my dog Exelpet intestinal all wormer, her back legs developed a severe weakness, the next day her front legs went and she was paralysed. We took her to 5 vets before she ended up in ICU for 5 days with round the clock care. The specialist said he couldn't rule out that it was the pill. She was diagnosed with Coonhound… Read more

Paralysis...which is in keeping with a neurological reaction to something ingested affecting her system. Apart from that pill, nothing about her routine had changed so it was not only my gut feel but also very logical to assume it was this very dangerous product. She is still weak and can barely walk but is expected to recover. I spent almost $3000! Not to mention the sleep I lost and the worry I went through seeing her in this state. It was the most expensive worming tablet I have ever given!

Please think twice about giving your beautiful pets this product. I am lucky it did not kill her. It is toxic and I will NEVER give her anything like this again. I have now bought some probiotics to get her on her feet again. Beware of this dangerous product!!!!!!!

Orange/pink poop – Within less than 12 hours of giving my two dogs these "pink" tablets both had mucous type poops which were a bright orangy/pinky colour, and quite runny. It was a bit scary seeing this at first, because I wasn't sure what was going on, until I remembered giving my dogs the tablets in the morning. I was certain that these tablets were the cause,… Read more

being the only thing "out of the ordinary" that the dogs had ingested during the day. My dogs are mostly indoor dogs and only go outside when I am with them so I ensure they don't eat anything nasty.

Questionably - waiting for a reply – My dog is 22kg I gave him 2 and 1/4 of the pink tablets. The next day in his poo, I can see a pink colour. I am guessing the tablets went through his system and his body has rejected it therefore it is in his poo. Maybe it is only the colouring of the tablets that has been rejected by his body. I have written to exelpet and am waiting for their… Read more

feedback. He is acting normal. It's cheap from Coles. It may not work since there is a pink colour through his poo

Made my dog very sick – I have my miniature poodle the recommend dose and in the last four hours he has vomit 3 times and is really lethargic. If he's not better by the morning I will take him to the vet. I do not recommend ! He won't eat anything or drink, he just sits and sways and looks horrible! Made my dog very sick!
