Damaging my hair – This is the worst hair dryer that I have ever used. There are 3 heat settings - cold, hot and hotter. The cold setting is not enough to dry my hair and the “medium” setting is so hot that it is damaging my hair. I’m not sure who would use the hottest setting because it would probably set your hair on fire. My hair has become like dry straw since… Read more

using this product. I spent over $200 thinking that I was investing in a good product but I will need to buy a new hair dryer if I want to get my hair healthy again. This is not good for thin hair. Very disappointed!

Excellent – I recently bought a Parlux and returned it as it left my hair frizzy. I then got this Halo hairdryer and love it so far. I have curly thick frizzy hair that is dryed sleek and smooth with this hairdryer. As far as time goes I would say that it is much of a muchness...no huge difference, maybe slightly quicker. Show details

Fantastic! – I splurged on myself and bought The Jennifer hairdryer for myself just before Christmas. I've never spent this much money on a hairdryer before but boy am I glad I did! I have straight shoulder length hair and it literally takes me 6 mins to fully dry it! I purchased mine from Hairhouse Warehouse for $175 and am really happy with this product. … Read more

The functions are great and it comes with two nozzles which are awesome. If you're in the market for a new hairdryer I recommend you look at this one. My hair feels different and doesn't get oily as quickly as before in between washes.

Am in love with this Dryer – The best dryer I own is Halo. Can't beleive how quickly my hair dries and leaves smooth, frizz free finish until next wash. I use it after every wash to dry and style my hair. Amazing hair dryer Show details

So so good – I bought the lite Jennifer dryer and have never looked back. I never knew my hair could feel so silky and smooith from a hair dryer. I have stopped using my straightner now as it no longer needs smoothing over as this hair dryer does it all for me. I've noticed less damage and less split ends since using this hair dryer/ 100% would reccomend!! Only wish they made a travel size dryer! Show details

It seriously cuts down drying time! – I am the first to admit that I dislike washing my hair. Mainly because I hate the time it takes to dry my long thick hair with the old Black and Decker hair dryer that I've had for well over a decade. That was until I stayed with my friend and used her Halo The Jennifer hair dryer - and WOW, was I blown away (pardon the pun). It cut my hair drying… Read more

time down from 20 mins to under 10 mins. I knew right then, I needed this hair dryer in my life.

There are two versions of the Halo The Jennifer dryers, a standard one and a lighter weight version which costs a little more. I decided on the lighter weight version as I like the pretty pink fuschia colour it came in, plus the added bonus of being lighter on the wrists. It came with two concentrator attachments. I use the wider one as I have quite a bit of hair. There is also a very lengthy cord and a hanging loop, it almost feels like it was designed for the salon. I personally don't need the cord to be so long though as our power point is right in front of the mirror so it feels a little excessive. There are three heat settings and three speed settings plus a cool shot button. The power rating is 2200w, but importantly I find that the highest heat setting doesn't burn my hair whilst drying it. The added surprise bonus was that my hair felt so smooth and was super shiny. I received many comments from people asking if I had straightened my hair or how I got it so shiny (my hair is naturally straight, but the hair dryer seems to dry it even straighter). Apparently, there is something called 'ionic' technology that the Halo uses which is supposed to help with smooth and shininess that but I don't quite understand how it all works. Only that it does.

The Halo The Jennifer hair dryer is quite pricey, I purchased it at Hairhouse Warehouse and they told me it's the hair dyer they use at their salons in store. Since using the Halo, I realise now that my old hair dryer was a total dud, not only did it take forever to dry my hair but it also used to cut out periodically when it got too hot and I would need to wait for it to cool down before I could use it again. However, my new Halo has never overheated in the 8 months I've had it. It's simply amazing to use! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to cut down drying time or smooth shiney hair!

The good bits: - Cuts down hair drying time (cut mine down by half) - It somehow uses something called ionic technology and makes your hair super smooth and shiny - Lightweight - Comes in fun colours - Multiple speed and heat settings

The bad bits: - Long cord, I don't know what to do with the excess? - Pricey - Not compact for traveling
