Heinz Baby Basics Freezer Pot Tray

A frustrating design that'd hard to use – Our nine month old baby eats entirely home made food - all made in batches and frozen using various freezer trays such as this. We purchased this Heinz product having filled all our other trays with assorted meals with the hope that it would provide an easy way to store and deliver meals to our endlessly hungry baby. Our other trays are all silicone while this is a mix of hard plastic and silicone which has so little flexibility that it's virtually impossible to remove one portion of food at a time with no provision to flex the entire container.

Minimum frustration is vital when you have a young baby. No one will argue with that. This product has been nothing but frustrating and a complete waste of time.

So, the product doesn't work. This doesn't stop Heinz standing by it and refusing a refund despite being unfit for purpose. Pretty poor service from such a large company...

Great product! Very easy to use! – After trying a couple of other freezer trays that were terrible, I came across this one - it's great! The tray is the perfect size for about 600ml of purée. The tray is plastic, but the bottom of each pot is silicon, making it super easy to pop out each cube. If they're tough to get out, just run the tray under water.

Excellant! – I purchased first an all silicon tray, but the design of this product is much better. Made mostly of plastic with only silicon on the base of each pot, allows frozen contents to be easily removed. Resting an individual pot into a dipping bowl of hot water for a minute is enough to then pop it out. Otherwise when wanting to remove the whole tray contents, a little hot water poured onto the underside of the lid and then sitting the tray on top for minute will allow the pots to be popped out.
