Beware. Read or inquire about return policies. I bought a pair of booties and a baby blanket on different days. Unfortunately, the recipient had received similar items. I asked for and received a refund for the booties. After asking for a refund for the baby blanket and having asked if possible or an exchange. I received this response: 'Unfortunately we are not able to process a second return for the same order. This is due to our warehouse system limitations - everything is barcoded and each order can only generate one return barcode. We are unable to process it manually due to it being a central system (with many small business, dealing with thousands of orders a day). I regret this situation. Would you be able to regift to another family member?

Hi Mary, we would like to clarify that your items were purchased on the same day in a single order. Our records show the first return was processed successfully. We are however unable to process a second return on the same order. Your second request was also outside our return windows as stated on our website. Thank you for your understanding.

Falling apart after only 3 months - poor quality – The side of the blanket fell apart after only three months of use. The baby didn't even technically "wear" the blanket, it was just draped over it. When it happened in one place I was disappointed but when it happened all the way down the edge it was clear that it was a manufacturing fault. I contacted the business to ask for a replacement. They demanded that I post it to them for them to decide if it really was a manufacturing fault. IF it was a fault then they might have refunded me 50% of the cost as a gift voucher to buy more of their poor quality items. I supplied them with pictures and pictures of my other better quality cashmere items that I bought at the same time that were actually worn. They were very argumentative and would not even consider that it might be because of their thin and poor quality textile.

I like to support small businesses, but I feel that I must write this so that others do not have the same experience as I did.

Hi Eleanor, we wish to address this again by saying we could not ascertain what the fault is until the item is sent back to us. Cashmere is fragile by nature but they do not just break down without tension. We could not just send a replacement as it has been used for 3 months or issue a cash refund as you're not the purchaser. In fact we provided you with these options: full replacement (manufacturing fault), 50% refund to original order/payment method, 50% in a gift voucher directly to you (as you are not the purchaser). We hope you understand and urge you to send it back to us so we can give you the best possible outcome. Thank you.
