Doesn't start – Don't buy, first use following the directions to start with no joy. Managed to get it started and runs no problem, shut off to change attachments, followed directions for a hot start 6 pulls max as per directions, I'm up to 30. Show details

Still getting used to it but I’m liking it – My first straight shaft trimmer, so I checked all the reviews - they were not the greatest but when I looked at other brands the reviews for every single trimmer were the same. The straight shaft is great to get under things like cars, and around the base of trees and shrubs. I’ve used this every third weekend since first use and today makes… Read more

the fourth time, it’s been great and started easily every time at 8am sharp. I do drain fuel after every use, so this may help. I use it on a half acre block and notice I’m refilling the fuel tank more than with my previous trimmer - the small tank means I’m refilling it twice most times, sometimes just an extra little bit on the 3rd fill to get me done. I haven’t totally mastered the line feed yet - I bought a spare fixed head and I seem to need to put a new length of line on that a lot, and with the bump feed head I’m never quite sure if more has come out or not, because I use it without the guard, so don’t get that noise of the line hitting the line cutter, so I ended up just manually pushing in the feed head and pulling out a bit more. (The straight shaft clutch lets the head spin slowly enough to handle the head while machine is still idling) I’ve just restrung it myself but can’t test again for a few weeks.

Terrible! – 3rd time of use and its already so hard to start! Followed the instructions exactly and nothing! Would be quicker to use scissors on my lawn before this useless thing starts! Will cut my losses and buy another stilhl. This was a poor choice I made buying this! Show details

Don’t waste your money – Spend the extra money and buy from a specialist dealer. Won’t start tried everything Bunnings recommended. New fuel with stabilisers. I wish I had taken more notice of reviews. Off to buy a reputable brand.  Show details

Not bad – Great strimmer works well on first use a little thirsty on fuel but cut well and has good reach. Gearbox in line head has some noise but you get that from gear drive.

Bought in Jan 2020 stuffed by Feb 15th 2020 I used it 4 times, never even got to use all the cord it came with before it would not run and the bump head stopped working after 2nd time, I bought a different head for it, now its useless as the machine wont work. It idles good but you cant rev it at all and the carby is… Read more
