Another Great Honda Product with limitations – This is a very good hedge trimmer. quiet, powerful, great cutting blades. Starts first time everytime, exhaust does not choke you. But there are some downsides. It is big, so can be hard to use in tight situations or on small plants etc. But the big long blade is great for big jobs. The exhaust can burn plants on the underside. Don't rest the… Read more

machine on the hedge, it will burn the leaves. This is easily done and encouraged by the size and weight of the machine, it is big and is on the heavy side..there are lighter trimmers. A quality 2 stroke will be lighter and nearly as powerful. The Honda is expensive but so are the better quality 2 stokes...............don't buy a cheapie.

Burnt heritage listed garden's 100 year old Box Hedge! – Having had good success with my Honda Versa-tool Hedge trimmer, I bought a Honda HHH25D to compliment this. Big mistake, the 1st hedge I used it on went fine as it wasn't wider than the cutting blade, but the 2nd hedge on this heritage garden property was considerably wider than the cutting blade which meant the engine spent considerable time… Read more

hovering over the areas of the hedge I had trimmed. What I hadn't realised is the the engine exhaust vents directly down onto the hedge and left it totally scorched! My customer was outraged, I discussed this with Honda and their only suggestion was that I change my technique! I have been pruning hedges for many years and have built up a loyal customer base, but I have never experienced this issue with other equipment!

I'm happy and it does a great job on my hedges – After a lot of research I purchased my Honda HHH25D recently. I had previously been using an electric hedger - I got sick of using an extension cord and cutting through the extension cord on too many occasions. Also sick of trying to stretch out over the hedges and falling off the ladder a few (many) times. My new Honda has been a game changer for me and has made pruning a lot easier and safer. Happy to recommend.  Show details

Great – Awesome. But it would want to be for the price. Slightly heavy. Works great. Easy to maintain. Easy to start. Effective on foliage. Quiet to use. Cheap to use and maintain. Apart from regular oil changes and filter cleans and of course fuel i have never had to replace anything; not even a spark plug.  Show details
