Ingenuity Swing N Go Portable Swing

Don't waste your money – Sensor didn't line up with magnet, so even when the baby is in it, only works for a few seconds. Back bar that clips into lower bar comes out while folding. I have an in-home daycare and I would never recommend this to anyone. I bought it because it was portable and electric. Just throw it in the trash. Show details

Not all that great but ok – Not really all that impressed unfortunately. The good: can be used with both batteries or plugged into the wall. It's portable. It's quiet and has the basic swinging and melody functions you'd want. The bad: It's curved quite deeply so it puts babies in a terribly hunched over position which is bad for developing core strength. I wouldn't… Read more
recommend long term use daily. My son looks so uncomfortable in it if I don't have a thick blanket in it because his chin is tucked right into his chest. He doesn't fall asleep in it, just tolerates it for a few minutes. It doesn't recline or adjust in any way. The frame is wobbly. The most annoying factor, which is the point of me writing this review is that it only continues swinging if it senses the weight distribution is right (your baby is in the right position). This is VERY finicky to the point that if my son wiggles down just a bit it stops swinging. Very annoying. I wouldn't recommend it except to someone looking for something basic and second hand off Gumtree to keep at Grandmas house.
Stylish and functional swing! – The sleek design of this swing was eye catching. Its gender neutral colors give warmth to our eyes amongst other bright color toys and the fact that it goes with my home decor rather than sticking out like an eye sore was appealing at first glance. Very soft and good quality. I was impressed with its ease of use and the ability to quickly fold and… Read more
go. This swing will make any parents life easier! But I don’t recommend this product for baby to be in this for more than 30 minutes as the seating position might not be good for their back when sitting for longer hours. Let bub rest while you are able to get things done around your house.
Purchased 2 - both faulty! – Purchased two from Big W for my newborn twins. Both had issues with the swinging mechanism within 4 weeks of purchase. They were returned for a full refund. Otherwise the swing itself is easily portable however on the heavy side. The music played is sweet and soothing. The swing takes either battery or power which is convenient. The colour and decorations are gender neutral and blend in with most decor. Show details
Cute swing – I purchased this in 2019 for my daughter and am currently using it again for my 7 week old son. It is very cute, has an elephant and owl for the babies to look and interact with, has 5 speeds for the swing, has timer and plays a melody. The head rest isn’t adjustable which is annoying for smaller babies (my daughter) my sons head is just about… Read more
hanging off the top, so we won’t get too much more use out of it.
They both love it, my daughter never fell asleep in there but my son does and he looks very comfortable in it.
My only issue with it is the frame isn’t very sturdy. My 14 month old daughter stands up and holds on to the side of the frame and it is very wobbly.
Good quality swing chair that usually keeps baby content – This swing chair does exactly what parents needs it to: keep the baby content (to a certain extent). The design is fairly sturdy as far as swing chairs go, however is light enough to be moved from room to room without too much hassle. The chair cradles the baby well, and does not seem to exacerbate additional vomiting for babies with reflux, any… Read more
more than your average chair. It is inbuilt with several relaxing melodies, as well as a sound machine, and has five swing speeds. Adjusting the safety harness is not as easy as it could be, having to slot the end through the back of the chair, and it is not suitable for use for young/small babies as it seems to cause some discomfort because of the angle of lean, but can be used quite well from approximately 2 months onwards. The pillow is not adjustable and only has one position (at the very top of chair) so that if the baby is slightly shorter, he/she will not be able to position his/her head comfortably. Personally, my baby has not fallen asleep in the chair, but does seem quite docile and content for up to about 20 minutes, depending if there is something interesting within view. Overall, it frees up essential minutes for parents to perform other tasks with both hands if required.
