Works a treat – This soundbar delivers perfect sound for a smart TV that had poor sound. The boost it gives and sound quality is ideal and it comes with built-In Wi-Fi with AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music and Chromecast capabilities.
Great Deal : Good Sound – I first saw the soundbar for sale on JB HiFi for $410 around 19th October 2023. When I checked the soundbar on Amazon for an amazing $335 I did some i-net research and decided to buy. The sound bar is configurable to your room but it's hard to really know if this is a gimmick or it actually works. There is no way I could test this, so you just have to accept that something happens when you start the 'configure' process via the button on the physical remote or on the smartphone app. The sound is not full Dolby Atmos, but the Virtual Atmos replication is good. The difference between my Sony TV sound and this JBL is significant. Playing Spotify from my phone via Bluetooth also delivers a deep rich and lush sound experience. There is no bass speaker in this model, but I was happy with the bass controls and overall bass sound although not super deep and rumbling that a sub-woofer offers. The remote control is integrated into the TV remote (volume and on/off only). There is a separate physical remote as well as a smartphone app that also has some additional functions, including a 3-band eq. Saving $200 was also lucky as this pricing was only available for a few days on Amazon while JB Hi-Fi had the unit for $410 on sale for a few days. All up I recommend this JBL Bar 300 260W Virtual Atmos Soundbar Speaker but wait for sales as I'm sure there will be black Friday/amazon prime and other store deals forthcoming.
