Pressure cleaner itself is great....accessories not so much. The pressure cleaner does a great job, but when I try to use the detergent dispenser etc to wash the car, it just does absolutely nothing. No water flows through the hose and the… Read more
detergent just sits in its casing and moves nowhere.
Tried it multiple times and same result every time.
Disappointing as one of the main reasons to purchase this was to wash the ute properly.
Follow-up · This machine has gotten worse since last review. The wand that unscrews about middle so you can chamge attachment is garbage. It actually came apart from the internal bolted section of the wand rather than the threaded section that is meant to detach. When I tried to reattach this its lose and has lost all water pressure. I also bought a spray… Read more
This must be the most useless thing I’ve ever bought. My hose is more powerful than this thing. Don’t waste your money on this product Show details

Excellent value for money – I last used a top of the range Karcher to clean my paths and fences. Rather than spending over $800 on a Karcher, I thought I would give this inexpensive pressure washer a go. Purchased it for $169 via Woolworths and it was delivered within 2 business days. Used the machine today for 2 hours and was super impressed with its performance. I used the… Read more · 1
turbo nozzle as I needed high PSI pressure to remove dried spilled oil based paint that was on my path. The turbo nozzle stripped it off much quicker than I expected. I am very happy with this machine. A tradie quoted $250 to complete this cleaning job, so I have saved $81 and still have the pressure washer for future use.
This product is garbage – I've had 2 of these, one on warranty that broke down after 5 minutes use, then the replacement lasted a day, now the same problem has happened with the replacement, no warranty now, because its been 12 months since I used it last, Show details

Short time use only no spare parts – No after sales available.. if you lost or broke an accessories like hose or a nozzle gun you have to throw the item because no replacement available on this item. Use less item.

Disappointing performance – I have just used this washer for the first time and am disappointed with the lacklustre performance in terms of pressure and the jet stream which I cannot adjust to a very narrow stream for deep cleaning. Furthermore the so called Turbo Nozzle is of little value. I have been using it alongside a Ryobi 140 washer and the Ryobi outperforms the Jet… Read more
USA in every way. (I am cleaning brickwork) I know the Ryobi 140 is rated at 2000psi continuous, 200psi more than the Jet USA, but what makes the real difference is that the stream on the Ryobi can be made much finer and is therefore more effective. The Ryobi is also some $23-$30 cheaper.

It's a proprietary nightmare! – This pressure washer is a regrettable purchase. SOooooo bad that I only owned it for a few weeks before buying a different one from a known brand. We don't have the money to treat it like confetti and just throw it away. I usually am very discriminating about my purchases but this experience has been so bad that I'm ashamed of myself. This unit… Read more
is rated at having a peak output pressure of 3200 psi, sounds impressive but in the fine print it's revealed that it's continual running pressure is 1800psi (a little more than half of the 3200).
The hose is stiff and is a kink/crimp hazard just waiting to ambush you in the wallet. Thank goodness I didn't waste any more money on the more expensive models in the jet-usa stable eg one with a reel because there is no way this hose would wind onto one in the first place (its way too stiff and rigid) plus if it did it would then coil up when unrolled and become an entire minefield of kink/crimp hazards.
I priced a better quality hose, one of equal length (5m), that had a sufficient rating to handle 3200psi, was more pliable, flexible and kink resistant - it would have cost more than the pressure washer cost in the first place and this pressure washer only ever achieves that 3200 psi pressure in the initial surge after you pull the trigger, releasing the flow build-up. After a few seconds its back to the continual operating pressure of 1800psi.
This is probably the biggest issue. Even if the better hose was affordable it wouldn't fit the machine because All of its fittings are proprietary ones and therefore non-standard. Oh, the JET-USA was a costly education! Carefully watch the video I've attached, look at the fitting of every single attachment, hose etc. Not a standard fitting amongst them except for the garden hose which was ours to begin with. This means that the only aftermarket parts or accessories that can be fitted are jet-usa ones and that range is very limited.
That meant that I couldn't buy a snow foam cannon to wash my car or a surface cleaner to clean our front path etc because they're also all aftermarket add-ons.
Finally it's one of those marketing scams that say "DON'T PAY $300..." like it's at a special price because it always is around $150 or less.
I'd only owned it for a couple of weeks when I came to the conclusion that I should have just bought better in the first place. By the third week my disappointment was such that I stared looking at other washers. I bought a ryobi pressure washer that has standard fittings, comes with a 5 years warranty and a better quality hose (5m, same length) + an steel ribbed kink resistant extended hose (8m instead of 5m) + surface/patio cleaner, for just $60 more.
When I started this saga I knew nothing about pressure washers, although it's been a rueful episode it's also been an educational one.
Don't buy this rubbish unless you only want the package it comes with and are prepared to throw away the machine when something is lost, broken or damaged eg the hose kinking etc.
I made the choice that persevering with this unit would've been throwing good money after bad. It wasn't a total loss though because I am gifting it to my brother-in-law. It does do the basics of pressure washing though, he's a national parks range and can use it to wash the mud off his vehicles.
*****29th August 2019**** I bought this pressure washer through Kogan, imported by Edison's who are owned by MB. In the past 10 days I've been contacted by all of the above. They were genuinely concerned by my experience, in particular MB/Edison's who not only had their technical department folks look into my criticisms but also contacted the jet-usa manufacturers themselves about it.
Maybe later shipments will have improvements, maybe they won't but I've been left with a genuine smile because of the way these folks have stood by me, their customer.
MB/Edison's have offered me a partial refund for my trouble, I don't know the amount, when or if it'll come, it's in their hands.
I'll consider Edison's/MB for other pressure washers or items though because they're only the importers, not the manufacturers and they have stood by me, their customer.
