Recently there have been SOoo many sultanas in the packets of Sultana Bran that I have resorted to picking out about 50% of each serving's fruit. This solves the increased and over-sweetness, but not the fact that there is now an insufficient proportion of flakes in each box. Initially I thought it was just a quirk of a particular batch, but after… Read more

several such boxes in recent weeks - perhaps months - I'm on the cusp of looking for another cereal. What is going on??

Corporate greed – Thankyou big corporate for ruining another brand by drastically cutting corners in your pursuit of massive profits! Sultana Bran has absolutely no taste now , apart from tasting like cardboard.

What the hell? – Brand new box, packet inside contained only half as much cereal as the size of the box. (Yes, I know the box has the weight on it, but I don't carry scales to the supermarket.) Was really shocked when I opened it at home. Briefly thought it was a used box someone had returned. Also, in one bowl of cereal I got only 3 sultanas. It also tasted… Read more

nothing like when I last ate Sultana Bran about 20 years ago. How about environmental wastage as well, so irresponsible. Will never buy this product again. What happened to this company?

Sweet enough – This bran comes in quite pleasant flavours and can be taken without the addition of anything other than milk. It doesn’t bag you up and keeps you regular. I actually like the taste of it and will sometimes add the occasional sliced banana. Show details

Sultana bran full of sultanas and very little bran! – I purchased this 700gr Sultana Bran, there are far too many Sultanas than the cereal bran in the package! Need to check and improve the quality of the package!

Where are the sultanas – These used to be packed with juicy sultanas but no more. There were four in my last box. Should be renamed Find the Sultana Bran. I’ll never buy another box. Show details

Sultana (?) Bran – Have enjoyed this cereal for many years & the quantity of sultanas has always varied, but 26%?? Don’t think so - we just opened a 700g pack which contained ONE LONELY SULTANA!!

No sultanas, just bran – Disappointed is an understatement. I've come to the end of the large box and I was lucky to find 6 sultanas in the entire box. I grew upon this cereal and remember there were atleast 6 in each bowl that was served. Show details

BROKE TOOTH – Broke half a tooth off from rock hard sultanas. Probably a bad batch. I have a dentist appointment in 2 weeks to remove tooth as it snapped off flush with the gum. Won't buy this product ever again as it was one of my favs Show details

USA multinational has locked out their union workforce and is replacing with scab workers – Until further notice I will be no longer purchasing ANY products owned by Kelloggs while they continue to squeeze their United States based union workforce. Their CEO expects the workforce to work 80 hour weeks while he takes in over 11 million USD in salary… I stand in solidarity with my US based working comrades fighting for a fair wage..

Sultana bran REALLY?? – Sultana bran should contain lots of sultanas - look at the name. 17 in one pack is pitiful. The listed 26% is false and deceitful. After more years than I care to remember I’m considering switching to another type/brand for my morning cereal. A disappointing product from what I have thought of as a company with morals

No sultanas! – I bought a box of Sultana Bran at the weekend from Coles, Brighton. So far zero sultanas! I thought they might have dropped to the bottom of the bag - but taking the bag out of the box, I see absolutely no sultanas! Maybe rename it to just Kellogg's Bran? Still tasty, just no sultanas...

Are people really this stupid. GET CORNFLAKES!!! – Honestly why do I bother purchasing sultana bran? Probably because of the adds, and all these signs saying it has over 300 sultanas per box. Welp. I counted the sultanas from two boxes, and together there was 21 sultanas. Seriously do why the hell do you ppl bother to buy this terrible exuse for cereal? I am CONFUSED. Like hire a new manager! Good, though small black particles concerning – I'm guessing it's just carbonised bran or sultanas, but would appreciate an explanation from Kellogg Show details

My go to for brekky – I've bought the cereal for many years as my go to. I like the level of fibre in it but also offers enough flavour to ensure it not bland. I have tried the supermarket version of this but I prefer the Kellogg's size of the flakes and texture. My kids enjoy this too even as a snack dry, so I'm happy for them to eat this over other high sugar… Read more

Stop ruining our favourite cereals!!! – Sultanas are like rocks... tough and chewy and gross... I’m not stupid. I know what a sultana is supposed to taste like (sweet, soft and juicy) I don’t understand? How can you mess up a bowl of sultana bran?? Show details

26% sultanas!! Lol – String theory, factory worker has a single sultana on a string, they dip it into the bran barrel and pull it back out. If it falls off he starts with a new sultana... I reckon there were a dozen sultanas in the last 1.15kg box. (Generous estimate!) Show details

This would be perfect with less sugar – Unlike the reviewers below, the box of Sultana Bran I purchased a week ago has plenty of sultanas (maybe I got theirs!). However, I would very much like it without sultanas as the sultanas (according to the box information) provide "approximately 2/3 of the sugar" content. I really like the bran flakes for the fibre and the texture (unlike All… Read more

Bran) but will have to take out the sultanas to regulate my sugar intake. Kellogs, can you do something to reduce the sugar of this type of product please?

No sultanas and "Sultana" is half of the product name – I have a half eaten box of Sultana Bran and so far there have been no sultanas in my bowl. I stupidly waited until getting halfway through the product thinking they had settled to the bottom. I looked at the plastic bag inside the box and I can't see any sultanas in there. One star for this travesty, and I gave a second star because usually it's a good cereal. Show details

Where are the sultanas! – We often buy a number of boxes of Kellogg's Sultana Bran when on special. Recently I went through 3 new boxes and all I can say is where are the sultantas? I counted on one hand the number in each box and also emptied each box in case they had settled at the bottom. A significant difference from previous purchases of this product. Have Kellogg's changed their formula? Show details
