Overall, the LiveLife Mobile Alarm receives predominantly positive feedback from users and their families, who value the peace of mind, ease of use, and two-way communication features it provides. While a subset of reviews highlights challenges regarding battery longevity and occasional unintended activations, the general consensus points to a reliable safety device backed by supportive customer service.
All the reviews seemed to indicate this was the least flawed device available. And after 6 months I'd say I agree with that. We haven't had the false alarms that some reviewers seem to have had. The phone support is good too. They made a couple of small admin errors. Amazingly were prepared to admit they had done so. And quickly corrected them.… Read more
The buttons on the side of the device are hard even for me as the carer to use. And I wouldn't even try to get my mum to use them. But you can text message the phone to get the same info. And the main big button does what it needs to do. It was the most expensive product I looked at. And of course you probably will not have the time to wait for any govt rebates. But it was worth the cost. And we wanted a device that we had control over...rather than a call centre. And the battery life is very good too which is important. As I can now leave mum for days and be as confident as I can be, that if she has a problem, there's a good chance she can let me know via this device. I give it 5 stars based on how it compares with the competition. As a stand alone review I'd probably give it 4 stars...because of those damned small and hard to push buttons.
With my Carer insisting I get one as I had had a couple of falls and was not found for 3 hours on one occasion i thought she maybe she is right. Oddly enough since I have acquired it I haven’t fell since, now in saying that “I don’t leave the house without it” 1. It makes my carer happy & 2 I actually get some comfort my self. awhile back where I had not fallen but I was in a bad way in bed and decided to hit the watch and it too over I.e. it sent an alarm to my 1st choice response and with myself not answering her call she she called 000. Look this watch isn’t cheap and I’m a skeptic at most things but just feel more assured when I go out I will get attended to way or the other as it has a built in GPS. The people at LiveLife are very. easy to deal with and have the patience of saints. So all in all would I recommend my oath this watch could actually save a life.

Feeling more secure – I have two issues. The first being that no matter what I do to prevent it (and I already have the little plastic ring) I still set it off fairly often by leaning on something. A but embarrassing if it happens in a shop or restaurant. I grab my chest to locate it and turn it off. The second issue is that because it has its own mobile number I… Read more · 3
get a few unknown calls from people who have rung the rmwrong number for whoever they wanted and they get me.
I have adjusted myself to both of those issues because apart from that it is fantastic. It works well, because even if I take it off and place it down just a tad heavier it will asset off the alarm.
It's a fantastic device...much better than the cheap ones ..sorry to those who have that variety but I was lucky that my family bought me this one after I had done some research on what was available.

The base station went dead after only seven months. No warranty, no help from customer service besides buying a new one. Disappointed !
Peace of mind and cost effective – I feel safe having this and it is simple to use. We looked at alternatives eg an Apple Watch but besides the cost, I didn’t think I could learn to use it. The only fault I find with it is the flashing light. I can’t have it in my bedroom at night. I have tried burying it under clothes with the loop hanging over the drawer but it’s difficult. like wearing it on my wrist when I leave the house. I feel safe but don’t look like an old lady wearing an alarm. This is the best option I found after researching other alternatives. It is cost effective and easy to use. I bought it and I recommend it.

I have not as yet, thank goodness, actually had a serious fall to necessitate a real emergency situation but on the one occasion I did fall it was on soft carpet & the alarm failed to activate but I have accidentally rubbed against a door frame or… Read more · 1
such as I wear the alarm on my wrist but have plenty of time to cancel such. On two occasions when the alarm has been activated whilst working outside in a noisy area the alarm has been activated but I failed to hear such but my contacts all responded through tracking and a third party and were able to defuse the situations. To this end, if a pulse or vibration could be included in the unit, a suggestion only not a complaint as I and my family have peace of mind by my wearing the unit, it could be an extra aid. I might add I am an active 88 year old.
Follow-up · I am now in a regular routine wearing the LIve life alarm as a watch, charging in the dock station at night when required and both my family and I have peace of mind knowing I have the fall protection. Even when it is activated accidentally with a violent movement or brushing against an object I am assured it is working. correctly. Thank you.
I bought the alarm because I lost my husband and I am 80years old on my own now, it gives myself and my family peace of mind should something untoward happen. Show details · 1
Follow-up · I am at home most of the time so I can't tell if it works everywhere I have it on the charger when I don't wear it, and next to my bed over night, I accidentally dropped it twice and the alarm was triggered straight away , and it told me to press the heart button and the alarm stopped. I feel very confident with it , still working a lot in my garden
The alarm saves a lot of stress when I am not with my husband he travels by e bike to Menshed 4 days a week and I can see when he arrives there safely. Show reply

The LiveLife Mobile Alarm is literally a life saver! I purchased 2 of these, 1 for my mother and 1 for my mother-in-law. My mother had 3 falls in 3 weeks! which the LiveLife Alarm alerted us to the incidents. The last fall was a "DOOSIE"! The devise alerted myself and the next door neighbor to my mum having the falls. The neighbor got to my mum… Read more · 1
first and she called the ambulance to attend the scene. If my mum didn't have the LiveLife alarm, then she would have died on the floor at home! The fall resulted in serious head injuries which required my mum to hospitalized for 5 weeks. My advice is if you have elderly relatives who are at home alone, it is absolutely necessary that they have one of these LiveLife Alarms worn at all times! I told both my mother and mother-in-law the only time they are allowed to take it off is when they are in bed and the unit is on the charging station, next to their bed. Prior to buying these units and what persuaded me to get them, my mum had a fall at home, it was only by chance that i phoned her at home and that she didn't answer the phone, so I went to her home, and found her on the floor, cold and weak. She had been on the floor for over 6 hours! She was unable to get up off the floor and able to get to a phone. If she was wearing the Live Life Alarm, she could have pushed the SOS button on the unit and got help immediately after having the fall. My advice to anyone even considering a personal Alarm is "Just Do It"!!! It is worth every cent and peace of mind, and the good thing about the Live Life Alarm it worked every time, no false alarms! and my mum was able to contact me at any time when she required help through the device, as well as I was able to contact her on the device without her having to even touch the unit. The LiveLife Alarm is well and truly worth having. Stuart
Due to recent falls, I unfortunately had to have a Falls Alarm & thought that it would give me reassurance if I were to fall that I could contact assistance if my mobile phone was not in reach. Live Life Pendant style alarm was recommended & selected. I required a pendant style alarm due to wrist/hand swelling, so a watch style was not… Read more

While researching the alarms, the pricing went up by approximately $100 from the 2024 to 2025 model to $567 which also includes the sim card for the 1st year. The ongoing yearly sim card cost rose from $75 to $90 from memory.
My alarm arrived very well packaged, pre-programmed & I thought great - if I fall I can now call for assistance but this is where my relief stopped. The User Manual is fairly long & rather detailed especially when designed for older users & those who are unwell.
NOTE: outer packaging says up to 10 Contacts can be added but the alarm that arrived inside that packaging only has the availability for 6 Contacts, so the packaging is misleading.
The nice feeling soft woven type fabric lanyard to attach the alarm & wear around my neck is far too short. The alarm sits too high up & is just not comfortable. I phoned Live Life Alarms same day as the alarm arrived to ask if there were adjustable lanyards or longer ones but was told NO! They are all just one length. How silly, especially when the watch attachment is fully adjustable.
I am not very mobile, prone to falls & live in a regional area with very little choice for shopping. I've purchased another ribbon type lanyard which was all I could find locally but it isn't adjustable either, is wider, too long & just doesn't work. I tried it but accidentally set off the alarm within minutes reaching into a cupboard. There are no larger stores locally & Live Life Alarms are unable to assist.
WHY isn't the Lanyard available as an adjustable length as not everyone has the same size neck? Availability of different sizes (or adjustable length) would make so much more sense.
2nd issue is the lights on the side of the pendant which constantly flicker. There is a green light which searches for internet access, a red light for the battery & these flicker every few seconds day & night. (Should the alarm be activated a further blue light flickers). As I can't wear my alarm as a pendant as designed, I tried sitting it beside my bed but the lights were annoying, so it is now in my bedside drawer! When I get up, I have to try to remember to get it back out prior to moving.
Next issue is the battery. It does audibly state battery is getting low but when I'm asleep (& no I don't have hearing issues) it is so quiet I can't hear it. On the 3rd or 4th day, the alarm sent a message to my 1st contact around midnight to say my alarm was getting low & needed to be charged. It woke her & she had to phone & wake me.
I've now had to alter the 1st contact to be my own phone which is a waste of a contact when I live alone. I can't having it waking friends in the middle of the night due to low battery & that particular night I wasn't feeling the best & had gone to bed very early & the battery was fine at that time.
The volume buttons on the side are so small they are basically also useless. Suitable for children's sized fingers not those of us with swollen hands/fingers.
I tried to test my alarm but was unable to stop it contacting all contacts. Despite pressing the main button to switch off the alarm nothing happened.
I don't know how this model differed to the 2024 model but personally I DO NOT recommend it.
The positives are that it is small, lightweight & showerproof & was fairly quick to arrive.
Overall, it is a waste of money due to lanyard not being adjustable & lights flickering constantly & calling the 1st contact when battery is low.
I have phoned their customer service number but still have issues. Unfortunately I've had 2 falls 9 days apart & luckily for me, my mobile phone was in reach the 1st time & the 2nd time I had a support worker in my home.
I am extremely disappointed with this 2025 Live Life Alarm.
Where do I locate a similar soft woven style lanyard which would be comfortable to wear if it had an adjustable length?
How can the flickering lights be lowered or turned off overnight?
I wear the alarm on the lanyard, used the belt clip but the clip broke, I have been plagued by false alarms with no reason, 3 in one day 2 whilst sitting using my computer and 1 whilst at the table eating my lunch. Another problem is if there is any loud noise nearby you can't hear the warning that the alarm has been activated, and it is most… Read more
embarrassing when suddenly your local contact appears and your other contacts start phoning to check on you. one thing I would suggest is that the activation button be inset from the surface of the alarm as I think a lot of false alarms are cause by the alarm being pressed against your body by other surfaces you may come in contact with. I think perhaps I am still to physically active with working around the property and probably not have as many activations were I more sedentary.
Since writing the original review I have been contacted by Live Life Alarms and have had the problems rectified they have supplied an O-ring that surrounds the SOS button and make it less susceptible to accidental activations, have replace the belt clip and Increased the volume of the pendant speaker. I am impressed with the response from Live Life Alarms who dealt with my problems in a timely and professional manner, I have left in place the original review as it may help others who have experienced the same problem and don't know about the availability of the O-ring fix for the SOS button sensitivity.

The watch day, date and time is a bonus and I have been able to do away with my normal watch. Also I regularly check how many steps I do each day. The watch has proved reliable so far. The sound seems to be a little lower than it was at the start. Show details · 1

Owning and wearing a LiveLife Alarm watch gives you peace of mind in knowing that should the unexpected accident or fall happen, you can be assured that someone will be contacted and made aware that you may be in a predicament. Before I had the watch I sometimes worried what would happen if I had fallen and become unable to let anyone know, how long would it be before anyone knew and coul anything that may have helped. Very sensible personal lanyard alarm. Waterproof for showers with the risk of slips. Good for alerts if you fall from bed or while dressing. Timely and easy to correct if mistaken/accidental alerts sent to contacts. Show details · 1

Quality of the build of the item is great. Battery life is extremely disapointing. Support people are very short when I contacted them regarding battery life. Item has to be charged every 22 -24 hours. I honestly can’t see why a battery with a longer charge life can’t be installed. Show details

Easy to wear and read the time. Location is mostly correct, but sometimes it will show where the person was an hour or so ago. 3 falls/tumbles have been had where the person has hit the ground and the alarm hasnt gone off. Thankfully someone was there each time. The alarm does go off randomly at other times when the person swings there arm… Read more
just walking. Have had the sensitivity changed but this hasnt helped. I have another person where the alarm does not register to the nominated people if the person is in the middle of the house and has a fall - would have to get a booster for the signal to go through the house walls. We just made the main living room at the side of the house.
My wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase of the Live Life Alarm. It has bought back so much confidence in knowing when my wife heads off into the garden that if something happens my wife can contact so many of our family members. It is an asset I believe that everyone needs as we all get older. Very well designed and I would recommend the Live Life Alarm System to anyone. Thank you for such a great product. Show reply
I received my Live Life Alarm free of charge through My Aged Care as a precautionary measure while I was very unwell and it has made me feel safe in the knowledge that help was easily accessible. Fortunately I have not had to use it, but it is there if needed. Show reply
The alarm was easy to use and charge up. It was incredibly useful as dad got older and couldn't look after himself in his house. Had many falls especially at night that the family were able to respond to. The fall alert worked extremely well. Show reply

Great watch alarm that you can also call to and speak to the wearer. It’s just as convenient as calling a mobile. I like how it stores number and sends alerts for when assistance is needed and low battery alerts. User friendly, purchased through BlueCare, I would recommend Show reply
Jarrod’s professionalism in service was impeccable. If anything needed confirmation, Jarrod courteously explained this & that he’d place call on hold - thanking me on returning to call. He also sought out options & seamlessly attended to all that was required. All my questions (there were lots!) were answered respectfully. Most commendable service. Show details
The LiveLife watch provides security for elderly people who have mobility or balance issues Having spoken to people who have other brands of alarm watches, the LiveLife watch has much better features, particularly the fall register , contact calling and calling similar to a mobile phone. Having had to use the alarm a number of times I found it very responsive. It is easy to charge and tells you if battery is low Show reply
The most sensible and mind-easing decision I ever made! For a comparatively small financial outlay, I have the peace of mind to move around my daily business without the constant fear of falling. Late last year, I was heading to the toilet at 11:00pm , when I crashed to the floor.. of course, wasn’t carrying my phone and couldn’t stand.
