Based on Our Personal Experience For Indians only. (I am addressing Indians only because the incident involved only Indian families.) Our experience at Lollipop Playland, Canberra, was extremely disappointing and distressing. During our child’s… Read more
birthday party, two of the indian boys in the party aged 7 and 8 were singled out after a complaint, from a family, despite many other children playing in the same area similar way. A staff member approached the situation in an aggressive and confrontational manner, speaking loudly and publicly instead of addressing it calmly and professionally.
They immediately cooperated and spoke to the children, while other children continued playing the same game in the area. Yet the staff continued to escalate the situation and decided to put the children and the families on the show.
When questioned, the owner gave inconsistent answers about whether the behaviour was even witnessed and failed to explain why only our non-white children were targeted while other children were not questioned.
When concerns of discrimination were raised, they were dismissed, and we were spoken to disrespectfully. As we were leaving, multiple staff members surrounded us, which felt intimidating. Later, another owner contacted us and spoke in a threatening tone, placing blame on us rather than attempting to resolve the issue. No apology or follow-up was ever provided.
This experience left us feeling humiliated and discriminated against.
Based on our experience, we do not recommend this venue to families of colour, particularly Indian families.
Follow-up · What was the complaint about? We were informed that another family had raised a complaint about two boys from our birthday party group. When we asked staff and management what specific behaviour had occurred, the explanation remained unclear. At different points, we were given inconsistent answers about whether the behaviour had actually been… Read more
Service quality, at Lollypop's Castle Hills, has gone down over the last 6 months. New management seems to be squeezing more parties. They open the room exactly at 12pm, the girl in charge took ages to setup the tables, played games that was too long. We ordered cheese pizza for the kids and they couldn't even cut it up properly for the kids.… Read more
Parents got involved with pulling the slices apart. The food for the grown ups were just dumped on the outside table without any plates or napkins. My partner had to go get them from the drawers herself. When we finally reminded the host about the cake, she could not locate it for 10 mins. By the time we cut the cake, 1 hour was gone and as my partner is cutting it up we are told we got 5 more mins. Kids were still eating the cake when they asked us to vacate. Forgot to arrange for the birthday train ride. When raised with Manager - excuse? 15 year olds running the room, so they can forget things. Well, who recruited them? You are running a paid service. Prividing poor service but charging us still? Trying to fit as many parties as possible? Pushing parents out without running the party well? Ask the parents to cut the cake first and have games for a lesser time. You are responsible for running the party. Improve! Otherwise people will go elsewhere.
I requested for 2 kids aged above 2 and another one below 2 years, he charged for 3 kids above2 which I didn't realise till I got home. While I was there noticed that there are broken equipments (treadmill is an example) and it is not as clean as it should be. Especially the floor seems never been mopped. Show details

Worst play land for kids esp foods/snacks – I would recommend the management to improve the food quality served here inside the lollipops play land and cafe. The music is not friendly for kids. The food is really bad. Ordered 2 pizzas Margherita &Pepperoni, chips. Could hardly see the pepperoni on pizza (attached pic) the crust was too hard and kids couldn’t chew. Chips n nuggets was bit… Read more
okay. The pizza was served in broken server.the last pic was the left over from the meal we ordered Need to improve the food quality esp for the sake of lil ones. Though the staffs were helpful. No heating system inside the play center

I've been taking my girls who are 10 and 7 now to Lollipops at Springwood Qld since my eldest was two years old. We have had always had lovely service. We love their annual discos as well. Very well priced for somewhere that has no limited time on visits.
We celebrate our daughter’s 5th Birthday at Lollypop Sunshine. she loved her party n play with friends there. Staff setup a lovely party room for us with heaps of food and entertainment. All staff and owner are lovely people. Variety of food options for adults and kids. Nice n safe play areas and open space for enjoyment. It’s just perfect. Highly recommended.
Bentleigh East Lollipops nice and good value for money – We have been to the lollipops play centre in Bentleigh East many times. This payground ticks many boxes and is our go to place to hang out on a rainy day.. It has ample parking. It is a safe venue for my son to run around in while I can chill with a coffee and the cafe has a really good range of affordable food and drink options. Show details

Waited 50 minutes for our kids meal. Think they forgot, twice! Even after reminding them at the 30 minute mark. Coffee is like watered down dishwater. Awful. Don't buy food or drink here. Won't be back!
Great job Castle Hill, kicking out a little 6 yo fun loving Autistic boy for the most horrible crime of touching some other kids food plates that were left unattended as if he did it to be nasty. I saw some kids misbehaving from the very same group complaining about my Son but that doesn't matter dose it. So let's just say it is not a special needs child friendly place, understanding or safe to take your special needs children. Show details
I attended Lollipops Penrith - this is the worst playground experience I have ever been too. The manager walked up to me and said if I left her a 5 star review on google she would give me a free pass! I was so shocked and just said NO. I attended during the week with my 1 and 4 year old, there was only 3 kids there in total. My 1 year old was… Read more
in the ball pit and throwing out the balls, my 4 year old was throwing the balls back in and she was told she couldn't be in that area!! She was actually doing them a favour picking up the balls. I wont be back!!

Poor customer service – Although the play activities are good the food service is shocking. Ordered a coffee and baby chino only to receive the baby chino without marshmallows. The whole point of the baby chino is the kids love the marshmallows and chocolate sprinkled over the foamed milk. Upon buying the baby chino I wasn’t informed there were no marshmallows and the… Read more
attendant proceeded to charge me taking money first then upon collecting to be told there is no marshmallows. If I had know this I would have bought something else for my daughter on top of that the baby chino was stone cold. as mentioned before shocking service as there was no real apology, substitute, discount and definitely NO offer for a refund, pretty poor service which now brings me to question if I would return to the play centre in the future
bad party – I booked a party $460 with food for adults I took them to fair trading and they lied about the party. I spoke to 2 managers on the day. I do have emails to prove what I am saying.save your money go else where

Too Grown for Fun: My Unwelcome Adventure at the Lollipops Playland Ball Pit – Oh, where do I even begin with the audacious absurdity that unfolded at Lollipops Playland? Let me paint a picture of indignation, a scenario so ludicrous you'd think it was conjured up in a parallel universe where fun is a concept only reserved for those who haven't hit puberty. Firstly, let me set the record straight - I am no dodgy bloke. It's… Read more
a simple quest for joy, a fleeting escape from the drudgery of adult life. And yet, Lollipops Playland, in its infinite wisdom, decided to shatter this dream with their draconian, ageist policy. A policy that reeks of discrimination and shrouded in the pretense of safety, but let's call it what it really is - ageism, pure and simple.
Imagine the scene - there I was, standing at the precipice of what could've been an exhilarating dive into a sea of colourful balls, only to be met with the scornful gaze of an employee. This gatekeeper of fun, armed with nothing but a rehearsed spiel about 'adults not being allowed,' dared to question my right to partake in the simple pleasure of a ball pit dive.
Let's not skirt around the elephant in the room - my current bout with hemorrhoids. Yes, it's as painful and inconvenient as it sounds, but it in no way hampers my ability to enjoy a soft landing amidst a rainbow of plastic spheres. If anything, it's a testament to my resilience, a middle finger to the universe saying, "Yes, I can still have fun, despite my ailments."
But no, Lollipops Playland couldn't see past their narrow-minded policy, choosing instead to shame me, a paying customer, for merely wanting to partake in the joy that is a ball pit. Have they no heart? No soul? Do they not understand the therapeutic potential of a good ball pit dive for those of us battling the twin demons of adult responsibility and painful rectal conditions?
In conclusion, Lollipops Playland, your discriminatory stance is a blight upon the very concept of fun. You have not only lost a customer but ignited the wrath of every adult who ever dared to dream of diving into a ball pit without judgment or shame. We are not weirdos. We are seekers of joy, warriors against the mundane, and yes, sometimes we have hemorrhoids. But that will not stop us from fighting for our right to play, to enjoy life in all its ridiculous glory.
Shame on you, Lollipops Playland. Shame.
Unsafe zero supervision – Most unsafe place with zero supervision for kids playing. First (and last) time there for my son today, attending a school mate birthday and he got hit badly on his back by another boy riding a baby scooter (a toy car) on a slide which made him fall on his back again and hit his head on the floor. That was not supposed to happen of course if… Read more
there’s any kind of supervision as it’s totally a stupid irresponsible and prohibited act from this boy which may have resulted in serious injuries to my son. When we arrived there we kept waiting for any staff to appear, until a girl waved for us to enter then disappeared again. We haven’t seen her more than 5 min in the full hour we stayed there and there was no one else from the staff except her, absolutely no supervision for around 40 kids playing irresponsibly in a very unsafe manner and environment as there were few toy cars and other objects not supposed to be available for kids to use on slides even sometimes throwing them at each other.
Insulted, intimidated and discriminated – We saw a man walking around at Lollipop play land Castlehill infant play area with shoes and feeding his kids food inside. Due to concern for the hygiene of the babies including ours we requested him to take off his shoes as per the rules. He threatened us and intimidated us. He was following us around the food court and confronted us. We then… Read more
reported the incident to the manager who made it look like we were having an altercation with another customer and asked us to leave. We called the police and reported the issue. We requested for our money back which was refused. We then requested for a complaint or an escalation contact to write to for which the manager responded by threatening us saying she will call the police. The manager was unable to enforce the rule on the other customer. So the easy way for her to resolve the issue was asking us to leave when she already knew that we were unhappy and were leaving anyway and was only asking for contact details to escalate the issue outside the venue. She went on to make it look like she was forcing us out although we were leaving the venue quietly. She insulted us even though we were outside their gates and consistently threatened us. My kids were scared and were crying. We left the place and had a horrible experience. Inexperienced manager who can’t enforce rule and was completely biased towards people who were trying to help them enforce rules . My kids were traumatised with the experience. There is no monitoring anywhere by the staff. Completely unhygienic and mismanaged.
Horrible Rude Staff – I have 5 kids and have been treated so disgustingly at this venue even though I’ve had birthday parties here in the past and heard other partners complain about the horrible service I couldn’t believe it until it happened to me I went to purchase a 10entry pass and was told that can only be purchased for families with two children (how… Read more

Flop Play Centre-Beaware before going – Would like to share the feedback for Lollipop Parramatta- We called Lollipop Parramatta on 11/03/2023 morning, asking them about the closing time for 11/03/2023 (Sunday) and if we can bring the cake and they said if you are not having party you are not allowed to bring your own cake and closing timings are 5pm as mentioned on their website, so we… Read more
agreed. We entered the premises at 3pm and got 4 kids and 1 toddler ticket as It was my kid 1st Birthday and there were only 4 kids so we did not booked birthday party package. Till that time also we were not informed that it will close at 4pm. After I asked the lady at counter she said its is closing at 4pm as they have party planned for the evening. I was bit shocked as everywhere it was mentioned 5pm so how can they close at 4pm. I accepted and requested them to refund the amount as we did not entered the paly centre. She denied the refund stating her manager has gone home, so we asked her to give in writing that refund will be processed tomorrow but within few minutes she offered that she can extend the stay until 4.30pm which we thought is Ok. As we entered, within 10 minutes manager showed up (which was strange as she already left) and she asked us to leave by 4 or else she will call the police and these were her words. WE HAVE $1000 PARTY SO YOU HAVE TO LEAVE BY 4PM. and when I asked what about our money she said I DO NOT CARE AND I DO NOT HAVE CODE AND ITS WITH OWNER. OWNER IS OUT COUNTRY AND WILL COME AFTER APRIL. So I asked give in writing that I will get refund after April she started shouting and became loud and rude. She argued that leave without money and later she gave us cash and told in bad tone to leave. I am sorry if providing correct information at the front desk is wrong then why do you have that staff there? If taking general publics money and not providing the service -is that the company goal? Is it stating "we have $1000 party you have to get out" is the standard of your service. I should have raised with fair trading for insulting us in front of our guest and humiliating our kids with such a rude and harsh language by your staff. If these kind of manager are there soon you will loose the reputation and trust. Our kids will not feel safe in these kind of environment.
It was a lolli-flop experience – Please, please…. please think twice before attending the Lollipops Playland and Cafe in Golden Grove SA, considering your next event at this venue. They tell you it’s ok to bring your own food to the… Read more
venue, but when reality sets in, they are quick to jump the gun and refuse you entry unless you dispose of your food. Not only were we spoken to unfairly, discriminated against our ethnicity, but there was no reasoning with the Manager or Staff. Constantly jumping down your throat, spoken to abruptly, hailing orders as if we were slaves.
Lollipops was not out first choice, but with last minute changes due to weather, it was the only venue available… and NOW I understand why. Other venues like Whacky Warehouse and Funtopia offer a far better experience, better play equipment, exceptional customer service and are great on price.
Poor maintenance, cleaning and service. Not safe for kids – Busy raining weekend. No tables to sit. One empty one was marked “Reserved 2pm”. I asked if we could sit there as it was 11:45am. I was told no, it’s reserved. I asked if we could sit and vacate 15 mins before 2pm. Young woman asked another. I was again told no, it has to be kept clean! We only wanted to sit but instead grandparents had to stand… Read more
because they can’t wipe a table!? We reported children’s toilet floor was soaked with puddles of water and wet paper towels and wetting feet of kids in socks. 20 mins later it was still wet when I returned, so I carried children into other bathroom. No toilet paper holder or roll in a cubicle. No roll holder in accessible toilet (rolls sit on change table out of reach) so 2 of 3 kids toilets don’t have roll holder. Support bar on the seat in spinning cup ride was not screwed down, posing risk of injury to little kids. Safety gate to toddler area is held on with duct tape. Another mum said it had been like that months earlier when she visited. Paper towel dispenser was duct taped to the wall in bathroom. Maybe they could duct tape a toilet roll dispenser in the cubicles too?
WORST PLACE LOLLIPOPS GOLDEN GROVE ADELAIDE – Lollipops play centre in the Golden Grove (Adelaide) is the worst place for kids party. Worst play center I have ever been to – The manager is very rude. I asked if I could get a refund because I was supposed to meet a friend and I wasn’t sure, the staff said yes. The manager later said they had a no refund policy. I said show me, he then said it was a personal policy. He refused to offer a refund or voucher even though we didn’t use the place.

Dirty and disgusting play centre – Play centre at Bundoora is always dirty and disgusting. Nobody follows rules. Some parents are walking in their shoes, whereas they have to take them off. Floor and playing area all over the centre is sticky because of Spilled juice or whatever from the other days. at all. Staff is rude and I understand that because they are always understaffed and management is just thinking to make money money money money. When I ordered simple chips, girl told me that they haven't prepared oil yet. Why? Why the oil is not ready yet? Took them 30 mins to make simple chips. Lady who ordered before me got order first and we had to sit another 10 mins. What? Are you following any sequence???? Not coming back again.
Just a disgrace! – We came to this centre because my son and nephew wanted to go where the pirate ship ride was. The pirate ship never went as they were apparently too busy. I asked multiple times for the ride to run which never happened and I left with two crying children. I ordered a jam sandwich for the kids and a BLT for me. Bread was so so stale. the kids were having a great time and enjoying there time we also saw that they have tea cup rides which is great for a play centre the lady asked us if we would like to spin a bit or not Which was great to have been asked I honestly recommend this play centre for a great family day out they also do great birthday parties without breaking the bank they have a wide range of party rooms which are decorated and very kid friendly we cant wait to book a party in November for our children to be reunited with friends and family at there special day without the hassle of rain or too hot .
Needs refurbishment ASAP – Attended wetherill park Center. Ball pit area that spits out balls wasn’t working and Center still charges full price. Second time attended and both times this play area wasn’t working. Center and play area has a cute Funtime but it is heavy worn out. They should not charge full entry price.
Very disappointing, keep far away! – I dont normally leave reviews but I had such a disappointing experience here, I felt that I must. Some of the good feedback on here must be fake because there is no way someone attended this play… Read more
centre and found it to be clean. Inside the play area there was squashed hot chips on the ground, some sticky substance splashed on the mat and food scraps all over tables I had to get my baby wipes out to clear us a spot to sit and eat. Some unfriendly staff ruin it for the rest of the team. Food was honestly so bland tasting, coffee not tasty at all. Bathrooms were filthy, not just dirt from that day but as if they hadn't been cleaned in months behind the door and under the sink. Girl at front counter asked for proof of vaccine which I found strange seeing as there are no restrictions. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Sadly will be unlikely to ever return.
A must – Great slides friendly staff great coffee a great way to unwind with the family. One price to enter and you can go shopping and re enter for free. A clean and safe place to take the family
A shame – I am very dissapointed with the staff behavior in lollipops parramatta with me. I saw some review in here simillar to me that they were so rude with customers . Dont go any more . So rude.dirty place.they just sell junk food in there not healthy. Not nice at all.wasting money and time.I will tell to all my friends dont go there any more. my freind his son got sick from the food over there .
A shame about the cleanliness – My friend and I have been twice with our 18 month olds. It has a lot of potential but the under 3 section is filthy. It is disappointing but we will not be going again due to the lack of cleanliness. I suggest you get someone to clean and wipe down the area, floors, surfaces etc at the end of each shift so the toddlers are not crawling through people’s hair and dust bunnies and dirt and wet patches of who knows what in the area.
Penrith Lollipops - Great Day Out – For my sons 3rd birthday we took him to Lollipops at Penrith this was the third time I have ever come to the play centre. throughout our visit. She went above and beyond to make us and our children feel welcome. She was easy to talk to and just plain welcoming. In this day and age people don’t care about customer service and majority of people like myself would prefer to shop online then go to stores and deal with the rude people behind the counter but Britney literally made our day. People like Britney need to be congratulated and praised she was absolutely amazing and deserves to know how good she is! I hope this feedback to passed onto her!!!! The centre itself was neat and tidy and designed well to ensure children’s can be watched by parents carefully plus its big enough for parents to also get in there and play. Food- I personally think is a bit expensive but each time I have gone I have taken nibblies for the kids and never was approached to remove it. Kids love it. I don’t think adults should have to pay to enter but also understand the company needs to make money to stay afloat. Nice to go to every month or so for a nice few hours out.
Lollipops parramatta! Will never go back – In regards to lollipops parramatta!! Will never ever come back there again!! Which is a real shame as my kids love coming here. entry band off and told me I will refund your money, we only come here as it’s cheap on the weekends. Never in my life have I been treated this way. Not to mention my eldest daughter as anxiety issues to loud noises, so while arguing with me he made my daughter very very upset. He has no customer service what so ever! Never will I be going back, please don’t waste your time going there. I only stayed because my children were so excited to play. I spend some much money on food here every time I have been, not to mention the coin machines. Don’t care how strict you are on your food policy this is no one way to treat your customers
