update. I continued to use Lucent Globe dishwasher sheets, and adjusted my expectations. Over time I noticed the dishes were cleaner, though I changed to a hotter wash cycle and I pre-rinse more than I did before. I also received a box of booster to help with the stubborn loads - thank you Lucent Globe. I do feel better using an environmentally friendly product, and I like the my dishes and my kitchen no longer smell of strong caustic chemicals.

notes on the packaging says it can be used for hand dishwashing. This means a mild ph detergent that won’t aggressively attack the skin- dishwashing detergents often have to have a lower ph to effectively remove sticky or fatty deposits because there is only the water spray inside to physically wirk on the surfaces. That’s low ph is also why they can affect glassware, cutlery over a period of time. So, problem: anything sticky, baked on like egg or similar does not wash well on a cycle where a conventional powder would work. (See photos).

SUMMARY: nice idea that unfortunately, doesn’t work. The upfront cost for the sheets per wash is on the high side, and if you have to use hotter water and a longer wash and more sheets to get it to work, then the economy is false and it. Evokes more environmentally problematic.

I really wanted to like these, my partner has been pushing me to use them for so long. Ive gone through about 10 sheets to really get a good idea on how they perform and im sorry to say, they are awful, having to re wash dishes is just not it for me, being a busy mum, working and all the things, the last thing I want to do it pull unwashed dishes out of the dishwasher. As much as I like the idea behind this product and would love for it to perform as advertised it just doesn't. After trying different settings on my machine the tough Stains won't come off.

They are a failure! I got caught up in the hype and bought a package deal. The dishwasher sheets are completely useless, and in fact have enraged me to the point of distraction! even after rinsing as usual. Next, they are all about the PVA "sheet" which breaks down and absolutely clogs every filter very quickly. So much worse than a dissolving tablet wrapper.

Then, for the first time ever, my dishwasher leaks. The sheer amount of useless suds inside have to go somewhere so they will find their way onto your floor and under the dishwasher. Many users have also noted this.

Lastly, If you're not very careful you will fall for the misleading "Australian" marketing. These are all made in China.

Don't waste your money!

Note: I went and purchased the basic Aldi dishwasher tablets and rehashed the latest filthy load that Lucent Globe left..... they came out brilliant with the Aldi tablet.

The sheets we have found to be rather poor in cleaning of the plates and especially the utensils.We tried them as an advertised as an Australian product when they are made in China .Secoundly when you buy your first box of dish washing sheets you are automatically signed to an ongoing delivery which I was not aware of,seems others have found this… Read more

to be the case as well the repeat product just turns up via courier at your door some months later...then to find you have been billed for it.I will never buy from this company again.Not recommended

Make sure you read the 300ish 1 star reviews before purchasing, take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt. I wanted to like this product, there were so many glowing Facebook reviews and comments. Took me an hour to mop up the suds with a rag and several rinses to get rid of the excess suds. I could tell the dishwasher was struggling to pump the soapy water around as it sounded different, luckily I was supervising it. Several reviews have pointed to the same issue, I'm glad I stopped it and didn't break an expensive Bosch dishwasher.

Back to Finish, dishes always come out clean and there is never any excess suds. I'll never get that hour back from mopping up the mess these dishwasher sheets made. Luckily it was half price at Woolies.

Buyer beware.

Horrible dishwashing sheets, doesn’t even clean the dishes. Everything came out dirty and had to wash it all again. Don’t recommend!

I really wanted these to work but they didn't. The whole lot needed to be washed again. Luckily I had some other product to use to get the job done.

then just ran the machine again to rinse it of the detergent and I’ve opened the door to find the entire bottom of the machine full of suds.

After reading other reviews, I can see this is a common occurrence.

They also leave the strangest odor behind. Almost a faint fishy smell.

I would strongly discourage anyone from buying or using this product.

brand new dishwasher, the dishwasher stopped working for a week with the over-sudsing. Kept getting an error message. The concept is good but the formulation desperately needs review due to the over-sudsing reported by many users. The sheets are also made in China. Unfortunately, I bought enough of these sheets for a year, so I’ll slowly work through them but I’ll reduce the sheet size. I certainly won’t be repurchasing them. Regret the purchase. If you want to try out these sheets they are often on special at Woolworths and it’s much cheaper than buying them online. My Brand of dishwasher is Midea.
