Mini Portable Projector YT200
MPN: YT2002 reviews
Mini projector yt 200 – The app is called Drongscreen but only a simple "settings" page only ever downloads. I've tried several devices always with the same result. I just doesn't work and so I'm stuck with nothing but a paperweight.

You Get What You Pay For – I wasn't expecting much from this unit as it is so cheap. I only wanted it for camping as it is a perfect size and very light. Picture quality was not important as long as you could make it out ok and wasn't atrocious. Also thought that I could stream TV through it with the apps from the phone as there is a wired screen mirror function. To start with, powering up the unit with my phone charger was a breeze. Worked straight away. Menu was clear enough. Of course, room needed to be dark(ish) but I was expecting that. It cost A$45. I then tried to play a movie through a 64Gb USB stick. Couldn't see the USB drive? I then found a 32Gb stick and tried that. That worked. Obviously won't read higher than 32Gb. The movie that was on it played fine and it was easily ok for use while camping. The inbuilt speaker worked, but is awful. Still legible but awful. You can connect an external speaker via the 3.5mm plug. The wired screen mirror function is something else. Firstly, the link that you get for the app. is broken. After searching around a bit, I found out that it was called 'Drongscreen'. Hmmm!! Not available on Google Play! After a lot of searching for the APK file, including one asking for credit card details, I finally found it and installed it. Unfortunately, the resulting display on screen was just awful. You cannot focus the icons to read the name. It also will only work with a full screen in Portrait mode. Trying to watch in Landscape results in half of the screen missing. The only display settings in the app are for portrait mode. I used it in 1280 x 720. I believe that it would work if I could set it to 720 x 1280 but I can't do that. The picture would still be terrible but you should get it all. If anyone can find a better app that works with it, I'm happy to hear about it. I tried a few. This was with a Samsung and a Motorola phone. It may work better with an apple device but I haven't got one to try. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this unit. Mainly because of the mirroring software.
Addendum, This unit does not weigh 2kg, it weighs less than 200g. Maybe 200g if you add the remote control? It's also not a 'short throw' projector. To get a 31" screen, unit has to be 1.3mtrs from screen. To get a 64" screen, unit has to be 2.5mtrs from screen. The larger the screen, the more visible are all of the pixels. While it technically will display 1920 x 1080, its native resolution is only 320 x 180.
