Ive had minijumbuk for over 25yrs, its time for a replacement even though mine still does rhe trick, its been all over Australia so it's being downgraded to my swag full time and im getting a new king everyday one. Im a hot sleeper so i find this good in winter and all year but I might buy a second one for summer so I have a thinner one for those… Read more
roasting nights. Ive had the wool pillows too, im trying out memory foam ones currently but might do a 2 and 2 of each on the bed, its hard to compare them. Minijumbuk need to do a U pillow though, thats 1 thing missing from their range. They cost alot but I guarantee you they are worth it, I know I've paid more over the same years for replacement cheaper ones in my swags than this one cost and its still good today, can't bleach it back to super white so it's going to my swag and a new one upsized going in my room. You won't be disappointed with these, quilt covers can't be hard to find on the cheap but spend abit extra on them, get Aussie made ones and they fit perfectly but obviously a thick doona vs thin doona fit differently inside a cover, dont blame them for you not researching your needs.
Best in Australia – Best donna ive ever owned. Had first one for 15 years only reason we upgraded was to bigger size. Customer service is amazing was trying to match old model they were happy to help! Australia owned, grown, made! Cant beat it! Show details
Warm but oddly shaped – It’s so warm without being overly heavy but it is too big to fit into any of our quilt covers which is frustrating Show details
Good but too big for cover – Warm cozy and wonderful! We are sleeping so much better. But… the doona seems too big for the quilt cover. I’ve tried different brand of covers. The doona still bunches at the bottom. Not sure how to fix?! Show details · 1
Good product – We have an older (maybe 7 years or so) Everyday minijumbruk cotton and wool quilt and love it. We've found it to be an excellent 'transition' weight quilt for autumn and early winter nights in Queensland. A large part of our purchase decision was based on a locally made product from local wool - beauty. I've just washed in in a front loader… Read more · 1
machine with wool wash and hung on the clothes line to dry and then on the inside air dryer as the rain is unrelenting atm. Absolutely beautiful result. So much so that I've just ordered a 2nd one in a different size for a family member in a different state as the nights are getting cooler.
Good to see the company so genuinely responsive to posts. If there is any problem with the new order we'll be straight onto them.
Made in China Very Poor Quality Sheepskin – It was so bad - I remade the covers from an old Ugg boot Now it is soft & dense and looks like sheepskin Before the remake - the hide is too thin and the felt felt and looked fake - not dense enough Show details
Too big for my quilt covers – Its a great quilt, very warm. Only problem is its too big to fit any of my quilt covers, which is really annoying. The covers are different brands so I don't believe they are the problem. Show details

Too thin & too light, not warm as thermal! – Bought it In expensive price and believe the reviews on website too much! However just first night on 12-15c temperature didn’t make myself warm at all. Cause the quilt is too light weight and thin. They have more room between the body & blankets & bed when used. The cold air get in to my body easily. Now i have to buy Kmart one to use on top/together with this expensive quilt!!! Show details

We Love it., – Ok it was a hard decision with so many brands too chose from. Read a few not so favourable reviews but more positive ones. And the company was responding to all reviews and offering any assistance if needed. This is a good thing. So we went with the Super King everyday wool. So so good. Very happy with the product. And Myer was having 40% off so a no brainer. Show details · 1
Way too hot – I regret this purchase. We bought the quilt in the July and were immediately waking up in hot sweats. We had to stop using the quilt by August, more-so because we were sick of overheating every night than because the weather had warmed. I really wanted to love this quilt and feel very disappointed. Quality is great, I only use natural bedding and… Read more
accept that it will be EXPENSIVE. We don't have space to store a bulky quilt that might only be comfortable during the coldest week of the year. I am now needing to rehome it somehow and find a true 'everyday' quilt.
Lovely quality and good for cold nights, but way too hot for anything over 13 degrees – I bought this with the advice from the lady at Addairs Chermside, and reading through all the positive reviews. It’s such wonderful quality and incredibly warm. I also love that it’s an Aussie brand with Aussie wool. Living in Brisbane, I’ve made an expensive wrong decision getting a wool quilt though. Through the advice I was given at Addairs,… Read more
I thought the ‘everyday’ one would be fine.
On nights over 13 degrees I wake up sweating. I’m only using a top sheet and the quilt.
I’m glad I’ve made an investment into a quality warm quilt, but will need to keep looking for an actual ‘everyday’ one.
Chemical smell – I purchased the warm mini jumbuk today and when I opened the carton the chemical smell was overpowering. I have been airing it all day inside as it has been wet all day. The doona still smells of chemicals after about 10 hours. I cannot use it with this smell. Hopefully the smell might reduce overnight. Our daughter has the same doona and she loves it, and it does not smell. Not happy so far. Show details

Great quilt but difficult to store – I brought this as a transitional quilt from winter to spring and I go to the cool in summer. For me this quilt has been perfect. I love all my mini jumbuck products, the quality is great and they are easy to care for. They sit really well on the bed too. Having a wool under blanket underneath and the wool doona on top really keeps the heat in all… Read more · 1
night while still being breathable. I also love to support an Australian company. My only issue( hence I took a star off) is that they now come in a cardboard box, previously they used to come in a durable zippered bag which, as I rotate my quilts through the seasons was perfect for storing them. The cardboard box is not suitable for storage and I have been unable to find a storage bag big enough for a super king size of this thickness, very frustrating.

Great products, excellent customer service – I purchased 3 quilts some years ago (Platinum range) and I swear by them, so do my parents and brother for whom I bought the others. Everyone seems to go on about smells on this site; it was a natural wool smell reminding me of the purity of this product and it disappeared rather quickly. I love that the quilt keeps me warm in winter and… Read more · 1
surprisingly cool in summer. I’ll never go back to feathers again - none of us will. I’m just about to purchase another quilt and have been communicating directly with Minijumbuck and their customer service is outstanding. Very quick to reply and extremely helpful. I’m a big fan of the company and their products and love the fact that we are supporting Australian made.
Great Quilts! – I’m not sure why people complain about the smell. It’s a natural product. I have bought 2 & the smell is fine. The one thing I would say is that the quilts are 1 size up. E.g if you have a queen size bed you only need a double. They won’t fit into the same size quilt cover. Which is actually awesome if you know this prior to purchasing. Luv these quilts & an Australian company! Show details · 1
Great quilt but smelly – I loved the idea of a natural quilt - bought this last season from Myer and unfortunately it smells. Tried putting two covers on and the room stills smells like a sheep yard. Love the warmth and feel but am not loving the smell - wont be using this any longer. Such a shame. Show details

Sooo happy with my minijumbuk! – Just bought my first minijumbuk and it is life changing! Although they’re expensive, the investment is well worth it. I am sleeping so well and with the added mattress protector I feel like I’m on a cloud! The lady at the store couldn’t rave about them enough and after feeling the samples I was hooked! I couldn’t be happier with my new purchase, thank you MiniJumbuk! I will recommend you to everyone :-) Show details · 1
Ok I guess – It's alright. Didn't have any issues with it smelling. Good level of warmth. The only issue is that the wool is constantly piling up on all sides. If you fluff from one side to correct then the other side is made worse. Frustrating. Show details

Perfect Warmth & Comfort – Very pleased with the quality and warmth of this wool quilt. Looked at the product reviews and did see the comments about the odour that some buyers had experienced. Considered this, and also asked the sales assistant who said that they very rarely have had anyone return the product. The product was in plastic sleeve (not a fully enclosed plastic… Read more
bag) within a cardboard box. There was a little odour, but nothing that smelt like had others had described. Waited for good weather conditions and hung it outside for about 4 hours (it was sunny and breezy), and there was no problem with any odour. It is the perfect warmth for what my teenage daughter wanted, and is very comfortable. I think outside of winter it will be the perfect warmth. I had also wanted to support an Australian brand.
Absolutely LOVE this quilt – Ill cut to the chase - I was very skeptical to buy this product after reading all the negative reviews about it smelling but i took a chance anyway because i wanted a high quality Quilt. As soon as i received it i opened the box and took a massive sniff straight away and found nothing, i took a few more sniffs and was so pleased i hung it out side… Read more · 2
as recommended for few hours and brang it back inside to put ob my bed.
I am soooo happy with this product and will buy more in the near future for the rest of the family thank you to the minijumbuk team :)
Smells like a wet dog – I bought this quilt to replace an old Mini Jumbuk quilt. Like some other reviewers here, when I opened the box I was confronted with a terrible smell. It was like a cross between a barnyard and a chemical factory. The instructions said to air out the product for two hours. I actually aired it for two full DAYS. The smell had reduced somewhat but… Read more
it was still not acceptable to put on the bed as the room quickly began to smell like the quilt. Google 'Mini Jumbuk smell' before you buy and you'll find dozens of customers who have experienced the same issue. I will return it as I spent a premium to support an Australian company but this is not acceptable.

IT SHRUNK despite following care labels – I purchased a single size and double sized mini jumbuk quilt for my children. Being that they were for young children who have allergies I wanted a durable, allergy friendly and of course washable quilt. I had purchased the single quilt for my sons toddler bed first and a couple of years later got a double for when he transition to his big boy… Read more
bed.
They did smell terribly for a very long time but I persevered and aired them a lot and eventually the smell did leave. It did however give my son a headache so I had to take them away until they had been aired.
Bed wetting accidents, vomiting bugs etc and a dust mite allergy with toddlers means of course we have had to wash them. I have a wool setting on my machine and have only ever followed the label care instructions.
Recently I kept thinking I was mixing up the wrong quilt with the double bed sized covers. I finally clicked and measured them. The single quilt now measure 125cm by 185cm. according to the website its single size is 140cm by 210cm
The double is now approx 164cm by almost 200cm. Not the 180cm by 210cm it is supposed to be
I have gone out of my way to pay the extra expense of quality linen. Both quilts hundreds of dollars at Adairs. I also purchased another microfibre loft quilt from them, Adairs brand. I've washed it twice and all the microfibre has balled up in each of the squares there appears to be no stitching between some squares so the filling falls into another and some squares therefore have no filling at all.
I have a queen size washable quilt from target. seriously still going strong. So I've learnt by lesson. Go to target.

One of my best house product purchases – Absolutely love my minijumbuk quilt. Its lightweight, perfect for summer nights and great in winter in combination with the wool underlay and flannette sheets. I purchased my quilt from Adairs along with both my children's quilt covers. High quality, Australian made quilt with a good price tag for quality. Would highly recommend the everyday quilt. Show details
High quality Australian product – I have purchased several minijumuk quilts in the last 12 months. I have never experienced any issues with problematic smells. I have always been very satisfied with them & would definately purchase them again. I am pleased to support a high quality Australian-made product. Show details
Delighted with our Everyday quilt – Needing a new winter quilt for the Queensland nights and wanting to buy an Australian product. After researching Everyday Minijumbuk Quilt and despite reading negative reviews on the smell factor I decided to buy this product as the quality appeared amazing. made a great difference in sleep quality as no longer tossing and turning in artificial materials all night.
My son now asks to sleep in our "comfy" bed so it must be a winner.
Terrible Terrible Smell Don't buy – Bought 3 days ago from Myer sale , spend a few hundred bucks but this quilt smells terrible!! The strong toxic chemical smell made me and my partner so sick!
