Brilliant SPF Lip Balm. Doesn't taste like crap – This is the best SPF lip balm on the market. I have tried them all. And into the bin they usually go. This one is natural zink mineral I believe so therefore doesn't have that sickening spf chemical taste other spf lip balms have. They litterally cause me to feel sick.. This one is pleasant tasting and after reading the bad reviews here down… Read more
below, I have no idea what they are talking about.. It applies perfectly.. I love it.. Putting a stop to those potential lip lines in the future.. I purchased at a Chemist in Chermside Shopping Centre in Brisbane.. I put an image up of my mouth. I think my lips are great for 61 years old.. No fillers or botox.. I'd never go there anyway. But I have always worn lip balms and apply them over the top of my lip.. The spf just adds that extra protection from aging.
Great lip balm – This stuff is fantastic. I've been searching for so long for a lip balm that has no bitter after-taste and no flavoured taste, but that stays on and actually moisturuses your lips and has some spf rating. Finally I've found it. I wish they would make a bigger 15g lip balm - the type that is easy to find in your hand bag. I also love that fact that is all natural. : )
Thick and AMAZING – I personally prefer this, because of the thickness. If I am using a lip balm (instead of a stain, colour, or gloss) it is for repair, and/or protection. This has brought my lips back from the brink on numerous occasions, especially in the dead of Winter - or the peak of summer! It lasts for a while too, I find, which is why I get my kids use it -… Read more
they are hopeless at re-applications.
GREAT for kids - no complaints from them (about the lip balm anyways lol).
If I use heaps of it, I get a white-ish look, which personally doesn't bother me, but if you are concerned you can rub it in a little, and that pretty much goes away. Or you could use a little lip stain on your lips underneath the balm. I have done this before too.
The smell doesn't bother me either. Pretty sure my perfume is too awesome to be over-powered by lip balm, but if it is a bother probably best you get the strawberry one.
~ Another EXCELLENT option is the Cow Lick one. The only other one I use. Fabulous stuff.
Will never buy again – Sorry both my sister and I bought the spf 15 lip balm, was not happy at all, won't buy again. Lip balm too thick and yes it did feel like using a candle.
Difficult to apply – This lip balm is too thick so difficult to apply. Once you do apply it, it makes lips look creamy white colour. Scent isn't really appealing either. Wouldn't buy again and will have to throw out as I can't walk around with white lips.
Great for the outdoors – I think this lipbalm is great. Was worried about buying it because of the terrible reviews, and after trying I do think it is a bit waxier than a regular lipbalm but this makes it perfect for the outdoors. I can't see this lipbalm sliding off at the beach and can see it being great on hot days. I would definitely recommend using their other lipbalms for daily use but for days in the sun this one is a winner!!!
Lip Balm Felt Terrible! – I have tried and loved the MooGoo tingling honey lip balm. Thought it would be an interesting change to try the SPF 15 Lip Balm since I live in the tropics. Bad decision. The lip balm had a very waxy texture, making it near impossible to even glide. Pretty much like using a candle stick as a lip moisturizer. The scent is not very pleasant, neither is the brownish colour.
