Gary arrived on time with notice beforehand, supplied a quote, then did the job efficiently, effectively and tidily. He was happy to confirm his insurance and workcover status and gave me some payment options which suited me. I was very satisfied with the experience.

I’d be very sceptical of any positive reviews you see on here. Only gave them one star to allow me to continue the review. Wouldn’t have given them anything otherwise. occurred. Rescheduled again and then advised date was no longer available therefore requiring another rescheduled day. EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE AND A COMPLETE WASTE TIME. Have never felt the need to review any service before, but this lot are useless. Avoid at all cost.

My original request was for a gutter clean and then some problems were found with the roof. The house is around 80 years old and the roof has never been touched. My experience with Mr Gutter was excellent. From my initial enquiry I was treated excellently by the receptionist. She managed to get my gutter cleaned the following day at a great price. Excellent service – Excellent service, well worth the wait, no wonder they are heavily booked out, service was carried out with a high level of expertise and professionalism. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sadly ... they are just unreliable. Guessing their top reviews are FAKE. Twice they cancelled. Both passed the time they should have arrived. The latest was due to poor weather. I check the forecast and NO RAIN was forecast at all. They said there is high wind. I checked ... NO WIND. Red Flag. Just dishonest. This my 1st ever bad review.

Horrible. They sent me email telling how good they are only to find out when ringing them all 3 times they disconnect the call. This is not professional service. It's a bloody joke

Poor Service – Stay away from these guys Payed $450 to clean the gutters. Did not complete the job and tried to blame the trees for filling up the gutter again which was not the case The offered $50 refund and would not return do complete the job It would cost at least $200 for another company to compete the job. Again stay away from this mob

We used Gary before, and as always we were very pleased with his quick, efficient service. He showed us before and after shots of our gutters which demonstrate what a thorough job he did. Will see him next year! Show reply

Waste of $350.00 – Prior to leaving this review I gave the company several opportunities to resolve the issue which they have not done. Following gutter cleaning I found a broken roof tile in my yard so called in a roofer to inspect the damage. roof's function were chock-full, putting the roof at risk of water ingress and therefore water damage. I let the company know. They asked what a secret gutter was and insisted I provide them with photos. I explained that if I was capable of climbing a ladder and getting on the roof, then I would be cleaning the gutters myself instead of paying them $350.00 to do it. Then they wanted the roofer to send them a photo. I explained that it was not the job of the roofer, a busy tradesperson, to waste his time providing them with photos. The company then claimed, "Just to clarify, the gutters at your property do not have any "secret gutters" as such. The correct term is "box gutter," and after reviewing the before and after photos taken by our technician, I can confirm that no box gutters are present at your property." So, the roofer who actually builds roofs, and who showed me a photograph of these chock-full gutters supposedly doesn't know what he's talking about.

After 10 days, the tradesperson responsible has not returned my call.

I've spent $350.00 with only a broken tile and a roof at risk of water ingress to show for it. I am calling in another company to do the job properly.

Edit: 14/02/25 The second company came today to finish the job Mr. Gutter Cleaning didn't do properly and I discovered in addition to everything else, Mr. Gutter Cleaning had also missed a downpipe. And yes, the secret gutter really did exist, and yes, it really was chock-full and needed cleaning.

I called Mr Gutter and they rebooked for the 3rd of Feb. he never showed up.

Totally unreliable!!! – If you want your job cancelled time and time again for ridiculous reasons these are the people to use!!! response whatsoever over 2 hours. Meantime I cancelled the one appointment I had for that morning then mailed MR Gutter Cleaning - at email the email address shown on website; which returned "<bookings@TheMRGroup.com.au>: host 52.63.200.69[52.63.200.69] said: 550 msg-202: Rejected as SPAM. (in reply to end of DATA command)" Contacted their head office by 'phone. Head office agreed to contact the representative by phone. Rep finally called and indicated all the problems caused by an "IT glitch" (Weasel words to cover a whole range of in competencies) "but we are working to resolve it". At some time later "[Name Removed]" called and offered to come and do the quote but was uncertain as to when this would be. Issue was satisfactorily resolved by myself by taking our business elsewhere.

Tried to trick me with a photo of someone else’s dirty solar panels – I was initially happy with the gutter cleaning job, but now I’m not so sure. RIP OFF – Was quoted $800 to clean house gutters and 2 sheds. Not big about 2 hour job. Machine broke down lucky for me. Got another company was quoted $350 including sheds.

Never book with Mr gutter – Never book with this company . Booked gutter cleaning and waited for 1 month ( wasted my time ) , the day before I got a text message that cleaner is coming, but never turned up, after calling them they mentioned we forgot to tell you that cleaner not coming any more .

'the technician will call me very shortly' - never does. I took the afternoon off the 2nd and 3rd time to be here - but nothing! Avoid at all costs and don't waste your precious time. How on earth people can run such a shabby business like this in 2024 is just beyond me!

accept the waste. We then reschedule and I needed to wait another week from the booking date to get a call that they need to cancel as it is raining....it's not even raining? It's overcast? Just a very shocking experience. I don't know how you expected me to reschedule AGAIN...

Dont complete works – Had these folks out to clean my gutters, and requested photos of before and after of the gutters. That was agreed and i was told that i would get the photos with my invoice. Well got my invoice...and no photos. They did send 3 showing the gutters still full of moss. They request payment and i requested my photos.....nothing, and now they want to default me....just because they cannot comply with what we agreed.....I do not recommend these folks.

NO SHOW – Booked for a solar panel clean and partial garage roof clean and this mob simply didn't show up. No correspondence, no communication to say won't be there, no nothing!!! Wasted an afternoon waiting around for them. Be wary of businesses that just fob people off like this.

Incredible – Honestly he did an amazing job, he came same day, and was early when it was labeled urgent. He was funny, friendly and thorough. Seeing the pictures before and after was great too. I would recommend and would love to use their services again.

staff, weather and the like, all of which to be honest, are starting to get extremely “old” indeed and these days, unbelievable. Even if that was the case, (and that’s a VERY BIG “IF”) the professional thing to do would have been to call me couple of weeks earlier and advised me they may have problems keeping the appointment. This then, would have given me the option of staying with them or going elsewhere. I was planning to use another one of their advertised services but after their unprofessional attitude and “couldn’t care less” attitude NOT A CHANCE !! Do yourself a favor and try elsewhere: Don't waste your time on this crowd.

Unreliable – This company is unreliable they cancelled twice only 1 hour prior to arriving when I had organised to be home, so I didn’t reschedule will use another company. Don’t waste your time.

Unreliable. Multiple cancellations – Cancelled and rebooked more than 5 times. Unreliable, including last minute cancellations & day of service. Understandable a couple times, but it gets difficult when people are arranged to be at home and there are repeated cancellations including twice in a week.
