I loved my Pathrider 140XL, it is a bit large but where I use it I need a large sturdy scooter. I gave it a very, very hard workout for 2 years on my 10 acre hobby farm so I am sad that it has starting some starting problems.

Purchased in for $1,850.

Pride Pathrider 140XL - WORST SCOOTER I HAVE EVER OWNED!!! – I purchased this scooter as my old scooter was no longer reliable, and as I have great difficulty walking, I needed reliability. I purchased this particular scooter as it's weight capacity is 180kg and distance 35klms. I have gained quite a bit of weight, have grandchildren who love to come with me, and I used a scooter to do my grocery shopping, so having a scooter that took that amount of weight was amazing. BUT!!! I am female, I suffer from chronic pain, and have recently had a heart valve replacement. My arms are quite painful, but my indoor scooter and my portable scooter are still both easy enough for me to still steer one handed. The Pride Pathrider 140XL scooter is like trying to steer a tank!! If you have ever driven a very large car with no power steering, you may come close to understanding how difficult this scooter is for me. The pain after I use it is too unbearable, and I find myself not able to do What it was purchased for. I have contacted Aidecare, where I bought it https://www.mobilityhq.com.au/?utm_term=aidacare%20products&utm_campaign=Brand&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_acc=3292455031&hsa_cam=6768323924&hsa_grp=77807703005&hsa_ad=681884108045&hsa_src=g&hsa_tgt=kwd-855202591424&hsa_kw=aidacare%20products&hsa_mt=b&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw1qO0BhDwARIsANfnkv_IaBrg9xBWCRL3JrClU5cYuhUBdOR12Dt2sm7WDvOCt9iMvUlAlcUaAl0LEALw_wcB but they tell me there is nothing wrong with the scooter. I have contacted costumer service of Pride in Australia, and they fob me off and gaslight me. So I am stuck with a $6,000.00 plus scooter that I am unable to use. DO THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT DISABLED PEOPLE USE SCOOTERS???? THIS SCOOTER IS NOT PRACTICAL FOR A WOMAN, OR ANYONE WHO SUFFERS FROM CHRONIC PAIN!!! SO THEREFORE A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF DISABLED PEOPLE!! I have found both my local supplier Aidecare, and Pride head office of no use whatsoever!

I have been using scooters for 13 years. At the start I could only afford cheap secondhand ones. - They did the job!! Sadly, THE PRIDE PATHRIDER 140XL IS THE WORST SCOOTER I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!
