Easy process doing this online as are most companies. Easy language used and easy to follow and check the Terms and Conditions. Best of all was a lower price than my usual insurer. However, we never know just how good or bad our insurer is until we actually make a claim. Show details ·  1

I found it especially frustrating when i tried to put a higher replacement value on my house, that the system kept saying there was a technical issue every time, start again. Why? Also, when I tried to pay and put the expiry date in it would not take as it is on the card (for goodness sake!) it had to be diff giving 2030! These things need to be kept in unison. I am only reviewing the quote process I have not made any claims so have no basis for a review of that aspect. The quote process was easy although you do have to check the prefilled info. It can be inaccurate because it would have been assumed from other info e.g. 2 car spaces may be translated to 2 carports. For my policy the pricing is slightly lower than a comparable policy from another major insurer. Show details ·  1

The online quote system is reasonably easy to use. But I couldn't retrieve the earlier quote. The system kept 'crashing', hence doing a new quote. In the end, price and products are competitive. Show details ·  1

Good Landlord Insurance offering. Lots of questions but the website for taking out a new landlord policy is well set up and quick. Pricing was competitive, at the time, but need to keep comparing when taking out any policy. Independent review by Choice recently gave QBE a good report in 2025. Show details ·  1

Excellent cover, online application was a breeze and almost $800 LESS for my annual premium than with RACV - and I get a ton of "loyalty" discounts with RACV! I've been with RACV for over 25 years - my Landlord's premium went up $332 this year!!! I'll likely move ALL my insurances to QBE now. Show details ·  1

Insurance is too expensive but we have no choice. This time I got discounted price because I have a Costco membership. It will be good if insurance companies reward loyal customer instead of new customer. The world we live in no reward for loyalty. Show details ·  1

The online application was very easy unlike some other insurers. QBE made it easy to see what was insured. The questions were straight forward. I've got almost 2 weeks before I need my new policy to start, I didn't want to pay up now so the pay later option is very good. Keeping the funds in my pocket.

I would prefer renewals to be cheaper or the same price as going through the process of a new quote each year, it would show recognition of customer loyalty. I have never lodged a claim. Show details ·  3

Overall, an easy request to quote but for the final stage...an email of the quotation was sent but it is only valid for the day of quotation. When I retrieved the quotation and wanted to proceed, there was a 'technical' issue and I was asked to call but only during office hours...but my quotation was made on Sunday and only valid for the day of quotation...so, it would not void by the time I call in!. Show details ·  1
