Razer Naga

Great product but bricked since Mac compatibility was removed – Great product with thoughtful key placement and solid build quality. Originally as with most Razer products Mac use was supported, now it's totally broken and Razer has permanently removed the OSX software support - meaning no key binds are possible, no profile settings, and no lighting functions. It's been two years now, but Razer has not clearly labelled the product accordingly.

Solid mouse for mmo/rts gaming – This is a review of the 2013 version of yhe mouse. This mouse has a pretty solid build and design. The buttons are easy to program and map through the online tool.

to use. This mouse lasted over five years until 2019 when the mouse wheel started malfunctioning when scrolling down; the rest of the mouse was still in top shape. I would give the Naga 2013 5 stars out of 5.

I bought a Razer Naga Trinity as a replacement in 2019. Initial thoughts were that it felt just as sensitive, accurate and responsive as the 2013. Its replaceable side panels were very welcome, allowing me to have two, seven or twelve buttons depending on what game I was playing. However, the Trinity requires the Synapse 3 software which is bloated, bugridden and asks for administrator privileges on every startup. I simply leave Synapse 3 disabled which means that I miss out on most of the Trinity's programmable features.

A few months after purchasing the Trinity, the scroll wheel started getting stuck when scrolling down; did the Trinity inherit a hardware problem from the 2013? The issue seemed to disappear after a week or so, but I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on it.

Overall, I'd give the Trinity 5 stars minus 1 for the software, and maybe minus 1 more if reliability is an issue (too early to tell). Therefore 3 or 4 stars out of 5.

razor naga trinity – i've been using multiple razor mice over the years and i stay with the product because its one of the only mice that is 12 action buttons on the side, but i actually go through one of these mice every 6months-1year the quality is just getting worse every year.... Also your keyboards also break very easily. i have never asked for a refund on items from razor but i won't spend money on ur garbage mass produced products again.

I must confess, I used to be a purely MMO player as well, but my gaming style evolved, albeit thanks to Razer or not, I'm unsure about that. Yet, this means I also play games such as LoL or CS with my Razer Naga. Now, some of you might wonder why the Naga is even useful in games like that, yet, it stays a really precise and accurate mouse! And I'm pretty sure it gives me advantages in CS sometimes as I got certain mouse buttons enabled for certain types of weapons, or to reload a gun, I simply have to press button '1' on my mouse. Which allows me to keep moving/strafing to the right instead of reloading at that time.

This means that for games, clearly in my opinion there's no better choice than the Razer Naga.

Ergonomically it's a fine mouse as well, it fits my hand perfectly. I must say that I have a small hand, but I do believe that Razer has you covered if you got large hands as well! The mouse ships with a couple of different "skins" which you can customize so the mouse fits your hand more.

Now, to prove my friends wrong, the durability of Razer products, especially the mice, which they claimed wouldn't last a year, is very good. I have the product for over a year now and I'm really happy with it, never had any problems, unless maybe that the cord which is covered in a fibre-ish cloth, does have a few rips in the cloth. But that's only the cloth, nothing wrong with the cable itself, and I must say that I've been using this mouse a lot everyday! And every day the mouse goes in my backpack and the cable folds etc, which has actually ruined my previous mouse (a standard Microsoft mouse) in about 11 months. So on the contrary of what my friends said, this mouse lasts LONG! It even lasts longer than a standard mouse!

To come to my conclusion, I would say that the Razer Naga is clearly the best mouse I have ever bought and definitely the only type of mouse I will buy in the future.

Great for softwares – I stop playing games and change into playing professionals softwares. Although its quite massive for my hand, it works pretty well with the shortcut of shortcuts. Great device to have. The best part is the keys that you can change into extreme shortcuts. best with smaller size for smaller hands. the functions big, hopefully they invent a smaller size.

Gets the job done – My partner and I play a ton of MMOs and the Naga is pretty much the best mouse for the job. It's very easy to customise, is comfortable and I have found buttons easy to press. anymore, the Naga is solid enough for both. Tons of buttons, smooth controls, slick blue light. Takes time to get used to.

Simply awesome – I've had this mouse for little over a month and It really does get my that bonus advantage ingame. The 12 thumb buttons are within thumb reach; and are generally used to cover the buttons '1' through to '=' (typically used by MMO gamers)

These are in no way hard to reach, and are easily adaptable to within 12 hours of use. Reliable, cheap, fast, comfortable, ergonomic, and an awesome buy. Backlight only comes in one colour. Seriously, that's my only dislike!
