Regaine Women's Regaine Foam

I have been using this product for more than 2 years now. It does not cause any itchiness or allergic reaction on my scalp. There has been hair regrowth on some bald and thinning spots. I only noticed results after a few months' use. So in general it does work, albeit not dramatically. It does keep my hair looking thicker but it may not work for people who are totally bald. An $88 pack lasts 4 months. It can be cheaper if you manage to catch the specials. I discovered it after a year of very expensive treatment at a very well known hair replacement clinic, where I spent more than $3000 for 12 month supply of a specially formulated 5% minoxidil, plus some supplements and the use of a infrared hair cap. The minoxidil lotion drops they provided caused itchiness and as a result I had to use an anti-dandruff shampoo to deal with the itchiness. So I would say in comparison the Regaine foam for women is a much better option. It has exactly the same percentage of minoxidil at a fraction of the cost, and can easily be applied with the pointed tip of a comb.

Regain is like acid - off to Hospital for me after 2ml – The first day was OK, the next was all right, itchy scalp, the third my scalp was red and infected, it looked like a chemical burn, puss leaking from my head, chunks of puss forming over the wonds. 2 days later , 8 showers and water wrinces and me head feels like I have dry paint on it, itchy, and sore. 5 days later I'm off to hospital as my face has started to swell up, I have a red irrated scalp with what looks like a burn, small bumps like pimples around the front of my crown, and a sealed forehead 5 days after use, the total used was 2ml , so two squares over 2 days as on the instructions. I thought going baulk was bad, but Regain just makes it 100 times worse, no hair is better the chemical burn scalp and swollen for head that makes me look like a star track character, and small pimple just to top it all off,,I would of been better rubbing petrol in to my head, it's $120 cheaper , and less side effects
Purchased in at Chemist Warehouse for $65.
Regaine women – I expected so much more considering the price of this product. I went through 3 bottles of this and had absolutely no results . Very disappointing and would not recommend it
Doesn't work – I suffer from female hereditary hair loss and have literally tried everything to stop or slow its process. When Regaine for Women was launched a couple of years ago I really felt this might be the answer. Unfortunately there is absolutely no evidence of hair re-growth on my scalp after over a year of applying this every day. It's quite expensive, impossible to keep out of existing hair on the scalp even though the directions say this should happen. I feel it's a bit of snake oil salesmanship - very disappointed.
