Renpho Smart Body Fat Scale

I had the rechargeable version of the scales. I was really happy and impressed with the quality of the scales and the app. Unfortunate, the battery stopped charging after only 2.5 years. As far as I’m concerned that’s a terrible fault and not nearly long lasting enough. A great product but don’t expect it to last. I’ve finally purchased a replacement but I’m using the AAA powered one in the hopes that it lasts longer. I’ll keep you posted.

Flakey Bluetooth – For the price there pretty good. Nice read out and seems accurate, connects to the Renpho App on your smartphone via Bluetooth. And the app shows your weight and your Body fat. These are based on your initial details that you input at the start. It also calculates your age based on your weight, age etc. etc., in other words it tells you if you are older than your real age, sorry to say I was. Two things though, it has a flakey Bluetooth and keeps losing the device.

Secondly it does not respond to a touch of your toe to kick it into gear, you really have to stand on it for it to react.

There are also provisions there for your blood pressure reading, I guess this requires another Renpho device, you also have to start an account for it to start working, not sure at this stage whether it keeps your weight every time you weigh yourself or whether it just shows your current weight. For the price it is probably good value.
