Used this product for a few years and had a.small part break. Was so upset as I loved the function and overall performance of the mop. I went to bunnings (where I purchased the mop) and looked for a replacement part. Guy there said to contact Sabco directly and they should be about to help me m directly. So when I got the chance, I sent a message with all details to there contact on web page and within a few day I received a response. They are replacing to part and sending it to me for no extra cost. This experience has revitalised my faith in true customer service and a company's desire for their products longevity. Thanks again
Having used another type of spin mop before, I was very impressed with the Sabco Spin Mop. So impressed with the original one bought early 2025 that we bought the Gen2 for a bird rescue that our daughter volunteers with and it gets a lot of use there. There is a release clip on the handle to allow the upper part of the handle to move downwards and the mop to spin in the water to rinse and in the basket to dry (short instructional videos on youtube for putting together and using were well made and helped). This is much better than the foot pedal of the previous brand I had. It is really efficient and spinning the head makes gives good control of how much moisture for cleaning eg two spins leaves it damp to get a good wash, 4 spins leaves it quite dry and great for mopping up spills or picking up the water from damp mopping. The floors dry quickly and the microfiber heads are really good at cleaning, you can put them through the wash in a laundry bag if needed but I find rinsing and spinning all that is required. The only initial difficulty was how stiff the head was, it needs to be in a locked straight up setting to spin, but it rachets to 30 degree angle for use on floors. After a couple of uses it was fine but at first I was worried it would break. I gave feed back to Sabco about the design and they were very receptive.
Follow-up · Storage - the bucket is slim, the mop handle can be telescoped to store, the head is detachable if you need to stash away. If you need a mop, I think this one is very good. The bucket is holding up well. I had another brand (won't mention name, it's red) it had a foot pedal which broke after about 14 months. I wash the heads in a net bag in my front loading machine. I like to pre-soak in something like nappy san so it doesnt smell! Well worth rinsing & spinning in fresh water once finished and then leave head outside to fully dry. Replacement heads are affordable. I bought the newer model 2nd generation and it came with 3 heads, shop around to get it. Paid $49

I have read product reviews before, but rarely submit them. It really is a well designed mop and it does indeed get heavy use at the bird rescue. I have a back problem so I especially appreciate the re-think of the spin via handle rather than foot pedal. Credit were it is due!
The design was Ok, but the quality is disappointing—it broke with minimal use. I’ve reached out to Sabco regarding replacement parts, but my inquiry went unanswered. It’s also annoying that none of their housecleaning products are compatible with each other eg their Handle Holders that attach to the wall can’t be use with many of their brooms, mops or dustpan sets.
Can’t hang the mop handle in the green holder. Use the hooks and it can’t sit flat against the wall and becomes a hazard.

Our Handle Holder is designed to suit handles with a diameter between 19mm and 22mm. If a handle falls outside of this range, it may not fit securely in the holder. Some products can also be hung from a narrower section of the handle, rather than the main shaft, which may provide a better fit depending on the design.

Works well HOWEVER it’s a very poor design and probably won’t last the distance. You’re probably thinking it’s a mop and bucket how poor can the design be !!!!! For starters from wetting the mop to spinning it dry you have to keep releasing the plastic clip on the handle so it can spin in the water to wet and then get all the water out and then you clip it back to mop and then release clip again to rinse and dry the mop head and then you have to also clip the mop head so it’s vertical for wetting and drying the mop in the bucket and then you have to move the handle and clip it in place so it’s on an angle to clean, not only is it time consuming and the clipping and unclipping of ALL PLASTIC bits probably won’t last the distance because some of the plastic bits like at the mop head particularly are submerged in the water with bleach or floor cleaning fluids so they will eventually break down, all this mucking around just to wet, dry and mop the floor.
I’m disappointed it’s made an unpleasant cleaning task even more unpleasant because it takes longer now to mop the floor, you can’t be going in full speed ahead unclipping and clipping plastic bits in place because that’s how you break pieces off so you have to take your time. The design of the mop and bucket has been done by someone who obviously has never mopped a floor before, the bucket has a release plug at the bottom on the outside for ease of emptying the bucket and if it’s not tight enough water seeps out, mine mustn’t have been tight enough because I found a puddle of water under the bucket near the release plug, not to mention undoing that plug to empty the bucket and your hand gets filthy toilet floor water on it, yuck I hate it.
The spinning motion to dry the mop works and it does dry it very well it’s just an up and down motion with the handle AFTER you unclip the latch and alter the angle of the handle to be completely vertical, like I said my biggest gripe is all the plastic bits that need to be moved and clipped/unclipped they are bound to break.
A regular rectangle bucket and sponge mop would have been better.

Follow-up · Yes the mop head refill fits well although with it being plastic on the mop head itself and the bit that’s on the handle you have to click it quite hard into place and being plastic it doesn’t give much confidence in whether it’s going to break or not under the pressure. Bucket is easy to clean however with limited space in my laundry tub it’s a cumbersome bucket to lift when full of water. Handle grip is good although hold it tight it’s plastic and if your hands are wet you could lose grip all of a sudden when it tilts to the heavier side because when it’s full of water it isn’t level because of the wringing bit for the mop.
