Organic Weetbix discontinued due to declining sales but if everyone that wants it back writes an email to hello@sanitarium.com.au Many people can’t process the synthetic folic acid in most food the organic doesn’t have it Also we can start a petition on Org if anyone interested

My daughter has weetbix every morning but as a carrier of the MTHFR gene she needs to decide exposure to synthetic folate which is in EVERYTHING except organic products. She has autism and weetbix is her comfort food. I cannot tell you how much this has impacted us. So disappointing. 5 stars for the product but 1 for the decision to stop manufacturing it.

BRING IT BACK. So incredibly disappointed this has been discontinued. Really - this was such a fabulous product for health conscious people and people with health issues. Sanitarium - please bring it back. 5 stars for the product - one star for the company

The product is excellent. Sadly, I have only a few packs left. The one star rating is because Organic Weetbix is no longer available. If Sanitarium makes healthy food, deleting an organic product is a good way to lower brand image. That’s the last of me buying Sanitarium products, including other brands made by them. Show details

I'm leaving a 5 star review because it is 5 STAR product. Sadly, the company seems to have gotten rid of it. My son has an illness where he suffers from iron overload, and the Organic Weetbix was perfect for him and he loved the taste and texture. Now it's gone and he's devastated. Why did Sanitariam stop making it???? Please bring it back!

PLEASE BRING BACK ORGANIC WEETBIX! It’s my daughter’s favourite cereal, we simply will not buy the non organic version as wheat is heavily sprayed with toxic carcinogenic glyphosate before harvest.

Desperately wanting to keep buying organic weetbix but everywhere I use to get it no longer has it on their shelves! Why!?? It always use to sell. There’s several other weerbix types… cranberry/coconut, multigrain +, honey golden oats, cholesterol, etc etc, and their lines are always full on the shelf, so don’t seem that popular. Why in this time,… Read more

when people are more aware of pesticides and their effects, and are actively seeking organic everything, would you take away your organic line!??? Please, please Sanitarium, bring it back!!!

So after many years of purchasing the organic version of Weetbix to reduce pesticide exposure for my family, I suddenly find that it has been discontinued. Very disappointing and a poor decision on the part of Sanitarium. Please reconsider.

Weet-Bix Organic is the best product that Sanitarium produces (Opps, use to produce). It is better tasting than any other Weet-Bix product Sanitarium makes. Whoever decided that it should be deleted from Sanitariums range should be fired! BIG, BIG, BIG, even MASSIVE MISTAKE. Looking over the reviews online, I have not seen 1 bad review regarding… Read more

taste or quality issues. Let's be real Sanitarium Management if it is the cost of the product (because that is what it usually comes down to), put up the price, people will pay because it is a GREAT PRODUCT! The public is screaming for Sanitarium to reinstate distribution of Weet-Bix Organic. Here is a news flash, "Hey Sanitarium, do the right thing and put Weet-Bix Organic cereal back on the market and you might actually keep a few customers!"

Organic weetbix contains no added iron which is perfect for people suffering from Hemochromatosis, a type of iron overload disease. My wife loved the product for this reason and is devastated that it has been discontinued. Bring it back please.

So gutted. Normal weetbix doesn't taste the same! What's the organic alternative?

Spoke to a person at Sanitarium Head office, they said the reason for the discontinuation of this product is "Logistical Reasons". Organic Weetbix has been a flagship product for many years, now some "Number Cruncher" has recieved a promotion as they have saved Sanitarium many dollars by promoting other profitable products at the expense of healthy and satisfied customers.

Are you kidding me that this item has been discontinued?? That's it for me. I am out, no more cereal for my kids, we'll go for eggs, cereal is just cheap carbs anyway.

I've also come here to express my disappointment that Organic Weetbix has been discontinued! I also emailed and had a similar response to the post below. I used to feel good about making sure my children were having a cereal without pesticides and now there is very little available!

I loved the organic WeetBix however they have been discontinued and I’m very upset about this.I always bought the organic WeetBix because there is no glyphosate in them.I won’t buying the regular WeetBix and my alternative choice now will be organic rolled oats or other organic cereal. Show details ·  1

Loved this cereal, very disappointed it's been discontinued. It had a stellar health rating and tasted much better than the other Wheat Bix products. Bad form, Sanitarium.

Came here to say how disappointing it is that organic weet-bix is discontinued. While Sanitarium may claim that their other products are healthy and safe, the amount of glyphosate and paraquat used to produce wheat is causing permanent environmental damage. It isn’t safe. It isn’t healthy. Very disappointing decision.

I have called Sanitarium today to ask why did they discontinue their product Weet Bix Organic? Answer: they admitted they received numerous calls from many unhappy customers about this fact, but their management decided it was better for their business. In other words: they don't give a sh*t about their customers. Show details

More like weet glue – If I needed to use some glue and ran out, this would be the perfect replacement. When you first put them in the bowl they look very average, then once the milk hits....weet glue. Absolute, utter crapola. Show details

They are hiding something – I have contacted Sanitarium asking if this product has any amounts of glyphosate( Roundup) in it. as all Australian wheat and other crops are heavily sprayed before harvest to speed up drying. One week later and still no answer. So much for the customer support.

Pretty much the same as regular weetbix – This is classic market segmentation - they taste exactly the same as regular weetbix. Same salt level, same sugar levels. The main benefit is that you get to feel a little chuffed because the ingredients are all certified organic. And you pay a little more for the certification by SAI Global - you can look up Sanitarium's certification on SAI… Read more

Global's website. Well perhaps there might be lower residual chemical levels...but who knows? This comparison information with the regular product is not published. If you're into organic foods then you need to ensure you pour organic milk over your organic weetbix and enjoy a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice from your organic oranges to go with it.

To summarise: the taste is the same, and I'm not convinced they are any healthier than the regular variety. If Sanitarium were really concerned about making this product healthy they would reduce the salt level from 290mg/100g to 120mg/100g as per heart foundation guidelines. It's Organic. Certified so. like most cereals it has too much added salt
