Horrible – Blades get stuck on the mower even after taking the cutter board adjustment off. First day of use, very disappointed. Never this brand again, may aswell get a knife and get on my knees.

Love it, but I do have a tiny yard – For someone with limited storage space and a tiny yard it’s perfect, my neighbour uses a whipper snipper but it has destroyed her lawn. Now lawn is beautiful and healthy and mowed in 10 minutes. Super awesome value for a unit yard!!

Exercise, and lawn grooming – The push mower can barely make a scorch mark. If the grass is too thick it will probably bounce over it or choke. Which is great because it brings the lawn down gradually without machining through it. The soft grooming from the reel mower combines with regular exercise to create a groomed cut. It can't eat sticks, but the blades are not on the reel, so kicking the reel free of sticks is easily accomplished.

There are a couple of drawbacks on hitting tall grass, but these can be overcome by using the push mower for regular exercise or getting people in the home to take turns. Considering I have one patch that grows out of control, between mowing sessions, the push mower is ideal to get out from behind ongoing drama with contractor bookings. That one patch is now under control because now I can hit it every time I go into the backyard. With our high rainfall this is necessary.

The limitations suffered by using the smaller 5 blade, 40cm reel are mitigated by the overall lightness of the product. Additionally, any wear on the unit in the future is negated by the product having already repaid its cost through savings and a finer look to the lawn. (The ride-on was just overkill, and always created bare patches and scorch marks while blowing debris everywhere).

The worst feature is the catcher. The size is not reflective of the amount of lawn that can be managed. It's easier to take the tiny catcher off and not use it.
