I’ve only tried it inside the house so far, but I’m impressed (considering how light and small when folded it is). Purchased as a second pram, as our big main pram takes up most of my car boot space. Excellent customer service, which is always a big plus!

The skippy mate ticked all our boxes for a pram that was lightweight, could fold one handed and could parent face or world face. For the quality and style it is very reasonably priced. The pram performs great on sealed surfaces, however it is a bit rough on rocky paths. The seat is well padded and my 1 year old seems comfortable in the pram. The… Read more

only thing with the seat is that the upright position seems almost too upright compared to some other prams.

Loving my Skippy Mate Pram! Took me a while to figure it out, but we brought the adaptors for our Nuna capsule as well and despite the fold capability with the adaptors on being a little tricky I still think it's well worth it! Would've been great if the quick fold function was somehow in the handle bar so even in capsule mode it could fold down. … Read more

Love the full recline functionality of the seat for a newborn and how this pram is going to grow with bubs so well. Great turning circle and light weight. When folded it's so easy to grab and put in the car and put back up. Bubs seems comfy across most terrains. The handle bar is a little flimsy when fully extended but no issues so far. Love supporting Australian products and this one was worth it!

Very happy with the purchase so far. Great value for money. Easy Quick Fold and good storage . Manuverability is great . Canopy could have a window to take a look when forward facing. Might be something to consider for next version like MATE 2 . I will come back after few weeks to provide more details. Show details

Fantastic pram, great price point! Smooth to steer, handles neighbourhood terrain well and love the simple fold. Big basket makes it the whole package!

Was almost influenced to buy all the other general baby brands until I came across the skippy mate. The practicality and ease with this pram is amazing. I will continue to vouch for this company and buy their prams in future.

Great one hand movement. Chose this pram for the tyre structure as I live in an outback town. Easy to fold, and surprisingly light. Show details

Order #3312 Love this pram! I needed something that was fast to fold down and easy to set up that fit in my car. I am soooooo happy with how well it fits in my car and the massive storage underneath. Granted this pram is probably not as sturdy in the seat area as other prams but its features and compactness make up for it. Great buy!! Show details

Quick delivery, easy to assemble & very nimble pram. Yet to try it out with baby (due end of July) but I’m sure she will love this as much as me, even my older children find it easy to push around. Loved the price too! Show details

Order #3268 At under 10kg, it’s so easy to throw in the car, but it still feels super sturdy. The one-hand fold is a lifesaver, and the storage basket is massive. If you want a premium ride without the crazy price tag, this is it. 10/10 recommend! Show details

Great quality pram, perfect for a todler. The fabric is very durable. I like black colour because it is not going to show marks. Enough space for baby items. It is also lightweight and not too bulky. There was a locking latch broken in my pram but I received a new one , which was easy to replace, as well as couple of complimentary pram accessories. I'm very happy with the pram and would recommend it to anyone. Show details

I got this pram to replace my other pram that comes apart in two pieces to fit into my small car boot and it took up the entire space leaving no room for groceries so I'd have to put bags in the back seat! This pram is amazing for space, being compact without compromising on features of a top quality pram. Positive points: +Fully extendable… Read more

sunshade, +Massive basket storage +Ability for bub to be forward or rear facing +Bub can lay totally flat +It doesn't weigh a tone so for someone short and not so strong it's easy to lift up into the car +The quick & easy folding mechanism is super handy

The Skippy mate is my everyday pram now for the car as it does the lot, great for quick trips to the shop, excellent travel pram being compact and light, sturdy enough for long walks on gravel walking tracks or the park etc, perfect for taking to older kids sports when bub has to wait around for a while and I need to store a heap of toys, picnic rug nappy bag plus older kids stuff.

Negative points: -I would not recommend the handlebar bag as the drink bottle hole is so small I can't fit my water bottle or even a baby bottle into it. I'll just be hanging my brown leather handbag over the handlebar instead. -Handle bar is a bit flimsy and wobbly when fully extended but I'm short so have it pushing most of the way in anyway -I also purchased the rain cover and UV cover both of which did not come with any sort of bag or case to store them in. I know this might be minor to some people but most top brand prams I have like my Silver Cross and Bugaboo all have special little pouches with the brad names so I don't get them mixed up and makes for easy storage. Lucky the pram liner I got for this new pram came with a cute little bag so I store all the pram accessories in there so I know which pram they are for. I'm totally nitpicking here I would still buy both of them again as I don't let the rain stop me going for a walk although the pram hood itself is so great I don't think the UV cover will get much use.

Overall no regrets in my purchase and bubs 100% always falls asleep in the new smooth ride so no complains there.

So far, I am satisfied with this product. It is easy to fold and leaves a good size of space in the car boot. The shopping bascket holds up to 12kg is very helpful especially when buying heavy items such as water and milk. It is spacious as a compact foldable pram but not as big as other regular prams such as uppababy brand which I am ok with. It… Read more

is also nice that it can be used up to 4 years old.

I couldn't give five stars because of its canopy. I did not think that there was a pram that didn't provide sneak peak window on top of the canopy. So if the seat is facing away, you can't see how your baby is doing unless you go around and stand in front of your baby or extend the canopy fully. I was also a bit disappointed that the canopy looked as if it was already worn-out when it was arrived may be due to how it was packed. As it did not stretch out, it still has some wrinkles unfortunately.

Lastly, I thought I would love this pram better if the seat had four recline level instead of only three.

material, far superior than the cheap $150 pram I previously got. My baby was super happy in there. It also looks so good and the phone holder fits so perfectly.

Follow-up  · After using it for a few months I am so excited to say it was such a worthy purchase because I am able to easily manoeuvre it with one hand while holding my baby, which was exactly why I got it. Also I love that it’s really small and doesn’t take up nearly as much space on public transport

— bub can sit fully upright (which most prays don’t offer) or lie completely flat, and they always look comfortable (and they are very tall)

My 2-year-old has never sat happily in a pram… until this one. I’m even hopeful she might actually nap in it!

Honestly, this pram is everything I kept “designing in my head” as an engineer. When I found it, I bought it on the spot — even though I already owned a very expensive pram. It ticks every box and is amazing value.

I’m not just a fan… I’m a raving fan. Highly recommend.

Follow-up  · It steers one handed very smoothly and goes over bumps with ease. The canopy is lightweight and a bit wonky sometimes but has good coverage with an extender at the front.

Lightweight, simple, good price point - we found what we were looking for with the Skippy Mate. Tested on flat smooth surface and steers well. And we love the kangaroo details! Our only negative is the basket underneath could be better - there is no barrier to stop items falling out the basket when going up or down hill. Show details

Great lightweight pram with a very good size basket. Fits well in the boot of my tiny car (Kia picanto). The shade hood and seat are not quite as luxurious as some other brands but I think it’s a very good trade off, I’m happy to have a slightly more flimsy pram that I can comfortably lift into the car and not have to take apart to fit in the boot. Show details

This is a really good entry level pram. Great value for money. We use it as our lightweight walking pram and will take it away for holidays. It is a bit low and the storage underneath isn’t as big as we thought, so we prefer our Nuna pram for shopping and being out and about. Still a very good product. Very happy with this. Show details

Pros: So compact! Couldnt believe how much boot space we have left when its in our little hatchback. Super lightweight. Sturdy, this surprised me, after testing other brands in store I was expecting something this lightweight to feel flimsy. Generous sunshade. Large basket. Nice and narrow with small turning circles, should be great for shopping… Read more ·  1

aisles etc.

Cons: instructions could be clearer. Theres a clasp that keeps it closed when folded that isn't in any of the demo videos and theres no instructions on how to unclip it. But its ok once you get the hang of it. While the basket is large its not very deep so we'll see how well that keeps stuff in once out in the real world (baby not here yet). Handle hits the ground when the quick fold is initiated, but if you watch the demo video you can see theres a knack to catch it before it hits. Doesn't come with any extras like uv or rain covers.

The cons are relatively minor once you figure it out Overall great for the price.

Edit: I haven't given a 5 start rating as I have sent the company two different queries and never received a reply for either, so my concern would be customer service if anything were to go wrong.

Received our Skippy Wagon this week. We love it!!! The only feedback I have is the handle should be able to extend so you can push the wagon and have the toddler skate board on and not hit your feet or make the toddler stale board universal to turn around so you can push from the other side and toddler faces the right way. Other then that great value for money and product. Show details
