Uneven temperature. Absolute nightmare to clean. I bought on sale for $50 but will be returning and spending double to buy a better brand. Fail.
Purchased in at Harris Scarfe for $48.
Neat package to cover up a budget item – After multiple failed attempts to cook even waffles and frustration cleaning spillage on all sides with varied recipes and techniques, I got the screwdriver out. The heat source is a circular coil with budget wiring. There is intense heat at the coil and no heat near the edges. Hence uneven cooking. Don’t be fooled by the fancy costume.
Purchased in for $82.
Good price and great product – I bought one coupla years ago and i love it. Works really well and my waffles turned out perfect everytime. I even used it to make cheesy potato waffles and they came out perfect too. Will be getting one for my brother for his birthday.
excellent waffle maker – Bought in 2019 and I have had successful waffles ever since. With a good waffle recipe it works out everytime. Am looking for another one for my daughter. good value for product.

Retro doesn’t suit this item – Before I start, I’m reviewing the Smith & Noble Retro Waffle Maker. So looking forward to finding a square shape waffle maker. Oped for this one a) because of price b) thinking it would make great waffles Other than the price, unfortunately waffles weren’t much to rave about. I used side by side, my Breville Crisp Waffle maker and this one. My Breville was completing waffles a lot faster and evenly cooked. Here, I had patches no matter how many tries I had. Would I recommend, unfortunately no. There was no indication if waffles were ready, because the ready light was always on.
Purchased in at Harris Scarfe for $52.25.
