5 stars for my cat – Well I’m no expert on healthy cat food or not but my cat loves it! She will only eat chicken/beef varieties has never likes any brand of fish flavoured food (unusual). So far this is all she will eat….I give her 1 pouch of wet food at night & the dry food in the morning. It does worry me that it’s cheap & nutrition might not be adequate but it’s literally all she eats & she’s a small cat around 6y old

Don't like the new $5 price tag! – I remember buying this for my cat for $3 as the budget option but yesterday I went to buy a pack and it was $5! Why not buy the premium cat foods on special discount for around $6 instead of paying always $5 full price for this nasty cat food.

Woolworths price gouging continues – Ww-owned Smitten dry food 1kg (now only available as Kitten, or Adult in one "flavour") was $2.80, rose to $3.30 just before covid, then increased by 21% to $4 during covid. That wasn't enough for Woolworths, which recently announced record profits as most Australians would know. Today they've upped the price again to $5 - a further 25%. One less reason to shop at "colesworth".

Fantastic price, My cat loves it, None goes to waste – My cat loves Smitten dry cat biscuits. The flavour combos of real chicken with natural tuna flavour are his favourite Although Woolies are sometimes out of the adult bikkys, He is more than happy to eat the kitten ones. They are basically the same , different smaller round shape, ( I have never heard him say where are my fish shaped ones.) Great value 1KG pack, Recyclable cardboard. No Artificial Colours, Flavours,And no preservatives. Great for healthy bones teeth eyes and heart. It's a nice product for him to graze on during the night or day when he is peckish.

Smitten Dry Cat Food – My cat likes Smitten dry food. He is very fussy and it's hard to find a food that stimulates his appetite. The food covers the basics, it's comparable (in other ways better) then oher brand named cat foods on the supermarket shelves, it hits AAFCO guidelines, has natural ingredients and is preserved with natural antioxidants (but is coloured with natural colours). It contains Sodium Tripolyphosphate which is to help with dental health. It's a debatable ingredient, but as a long time cat and dog owner, I have no personal problems with Sodium Tripolyphosphate. I like dry food to contribute to dental health. Wholegrain cereals are listed as the first ingredient which people debate can indicate the food is mostly made up of the first ingredient. Grains are also a debatable ingredient for cats. As someone who has had alot of cats in my lifetime, I have not had any issues with any of my cats eating foods that contain grains - even before the days of the internet before pet food was so hotly debated on social media! Anyways, smitten dry food works for my cat, so I'll probably feed it to him as part of his diet.
Smitten wet food in can and satchets - that's a different story! My cat won't have a bar of any of it!
